- jotate, on 01/09/2009, -21/+76It may just be left over soreness from last year's game against OSU, but ***** Florida. I have no logical reason for it, really. But I want to hit Tim Tebow in the face.
And then run before he kicks my ass.
And then get my ass kicked anyway because he's a fast mother *****. - withinavoid, on 01/09/2009, -3/+48The crying OU band girl was priceless. She now joins the crying OU kid:
http://www.40acressports.com/images/sooner-sobbing ... - CivilBeeker, on 01/09/2009, -1/+41Tim Tebow once saved a burning orphanage full of babies using just his smile ............ i saw it .............***** was crazy
- Guy88, on 01/09/2009, -2/+40Am I the only one who was totally unimpressed with the play of both teams in this game? They both looked terrible in the first half, with Tebow making 2 absolutely horrific decisions that would have resulted in a big hole if it wasn't for the UF defense saving him. OU looked scared to pass in the 2nd half and I'm not entirely sure why since UF didn't really get a ton of pressure on Bradford throughout the game. Very sloppy game IMO. It kinda shows that having the bowl games this far after the regular season makes it a total crapshoot and (in my opinion) not the best indication of which team is better.
Of course the worst part of the game was having to listen to the announcers audition for the role of Tebow's fluffer. How soon after the game were they around behind the stadium on their knees for Tebow? FFS try and remain unbiased. - danvi, on 01/09/2009, -4/+37Why the NCAA needs a playoff
- diggan8, on 01/09/2009, -4/+34Anyone else check out Tebow's woman?

I'd like to motorboat her. - nomadofthewaves, on 01/09/2009, -10/+38Gotta love the Gator haters..
"Tim Tebow would be no better than the fourth-best quarterback in the Big 12 Conference."
So says Oklahoma cornerback Dominique Franks.
Percy Harvin's response: "I wouldn't want to wake a sleeping giant..." - martynda, on 01/09/2009, -2/+29Someone PLEASE explain to me how USC is close to being considered #1 except for the orgy that ESPN wants to have with them? I understand Utah has an argument, but please STFU about everyone else.
- econoar, on 01/09/2009, -10/+37And Thom Brennaman still has Tebow's ***** in his mouth.
- zdiddy85, on 01/09/2009, -14/+39Why does Tebow piss me off so much? He seems to be a complete douche-nozzle but then I hear the guy's got a good heart and all then I see him at the game with "John 3:16" written on his face.
***** it, I still want to punch him. - jam3p, on 01/09/2009, -21/+45Three in a row!
S-E-C, S-E-C, S-E-C! - fmstringer, on 01/09/2009, -10/+33So the best team in college football is Florida.
Or Utah. Or USC. Or Texas.
What a satisfying end to a season. /s - K4Lic0, on 01/09/2009, -18/+41And yet the only undefeated team in the country (Utah) didn't even get a chance. BCS is ***** retarted. (And I'm a Tarheel)
- JohnDo, on 01/09/2009, -6/+28great game!
- FeartheKnighted, on 01/09/2009, -2/+22Utah is 4-0 against teams in the top 25, and 2-0 vs teams in the top 10
Florida is 3-1 against teams in the top 25. - serif69, on 01/09/2009, -1/+19They won the national championship and are *nearly* guaranteed to be *ranked* number one in a poll? Jesus H. Christ college football is retarded.
- danvi, on 01/09/2009, -4/+20I couldn't not a agree more! And the f*cking commentators were sucking his dick the entire night.
- Ljay90, on 01/09/2009, -0/+16LSU is a member of the SEC, and they won last year...
- inactive, on 01/09/2009, -3/+19If you haven't beaten Oklahoma in a BCS game, please raise your hand. Anyone? Anyone?
- inactive, on 01/09/2009, -1/+17BCS sucks. Real men do it with playoffs (ie. every other sport/division in collegiate athletics...even women)
- 1310nm, on 01/09/2009, -9/+25What a game, I guess FL was right about the OU defense, if Tebow running through them repeatedly was any indication.
- SuperSneaks, on 01/09/2009, -1/+17Who has Utah with the 14th ranked SOS?
Utah's SOS is #57 according to CBS. UF's is #3. OU's was #1.
UF: 105-65...Utah: 78-71
That's each teams opponent's combined record.
Tell me again why they deserve a title?
Utah played 5 bowl teams UF played 10.
Utah played 5 teams with less than 5 wins, UF played no one with less than 5 wins and only one team (Arkansas at 5-7) with less than 7 wins.
That means all but one team Florida played all year had a record worse than 7-7.
Just to finish up this comparison, Utah played 6 teams with a record worse than that.
Utah doesn't deserve anything but a pat on the back for taking care of business against crap teams.
Even better. Let's look at some scores:
@Michigan(3-9) 25-23
@Air Force(8-5) 30-27
Weber St.(10-4 FCS) 37-21
@New Mexico(4-8) 13-10 - gdo01, on 01/09/2009, -0/+15Not his woman. Just some random chick who managed to get a pic with Tebow.
- Mo0eY, on 01/09/2009, -1/+16I'd pay to see you do this.
- gametavern, on 01/09/2009, -3/+185 straight BCS Bowl losses Okies? That hurts...
Hook 'em! - drbadass, on 01/09/2009, -2/+17http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kw1EKl5-gdc
- gametavern, on 01/09/2009, -0/+12Then you missed the Tech/Texas game.
- crsd36, on 01/09/2009, -2/+14Congrats! And thanks for making it an interesting game to watch!
- e2superman, on 01/09/2009, -7/+19Dugg for humor!
sincerely,
Gator Alumni :) - Ljay90, on 01/09/2009, -0/+12@Flying
SEC went 6-2 in bowl games.
LSU smashed Georgia Tech
Ole Miss outgunned Texas Tech
Vanderbilt beat ACC #2 Boston College
Kentucky beat C-USA #1 ECU
Florida beat OU
Georgia beat MSU
Yeah, they did suck alright... :-/ - smacksaw, on 01/09/2009, -1/+12Jeez...that's the problem. I don't understand these stat-whores. I swear, fantasy football has ***** ruined sports. Jim Rome had it right years ago when he'd smack down the rotisserie geeks. I've played fantasy sports for 20 years and even I hate these people.
I don't give a ***** if he was the 13th best QB in the Big 12, dude is a leader and knows how to win.
Who ***** cares how many yards some guy can throw for? It's a logical fallacy...what if they are always playing from behind? Or their coach likes to run up the score?
Tebow throws like *****. The only spiral he ever sees is when he flushes his toilet. But with all of his crappy throws and mechanics, the guy knows how to win. Why? Because stats don't win games unless it's the ***** scoreboard. And Tebow knows how to get the most important stat - a win.
All of these comments against the Gators are dugg and the pro-Gator comments get buried. I ***** hate the Gators, but give props where they're due. Franks is a ***** for calling out Tebow and just looking at his stats.
Want to bet Franks is a rotisserie geek? - jordanlgta, on 01/09/2009, -4/+14SEC has won the championship three years in a row. Just shows that you can have "the best quarterbacks" as well as 50 or 60 or 70 points per game when you play teams in your conference, but it doesn't matter in the end!
- Clark3934, on 01/09/2009, -1/+11OU had so many opportunities that they just threw away. Those two bobbles, turned interceptions really screwed the Sooners.
Good job Gators. Too bad those west of the Rockies will never acknowledge you as true national champions, and for us east of the Rockies, we will have to put up with the circle-jerk that is the SEC for yet another year. :) - crash331, on 01/09/2009, -5/+14Definitely not USC.
- inactive, on 01/09/2009, -1/+10Chokelahoma.......
- SteveMTyler, on 01/09/2009, -0/+8Florida would have dominated the Utah schedule because there is no one on it. Notre Dame isn't in a conference, but they get respect because they play a difficult schedule every year.
- antistupid, on 01/09/2009, -1/+9I hope they teach him about prenups in the NFL orientation.
- K4Lic0, on 01/09/2009, -0/+8You mean NCAA Football. Every other sport (at least I think all the others) DO have a playoff.
- e2superman, on 01/09/2009, -11/+19GO GATORS!!!!
- thecolemanation, on 01/09/2009, -11/+19"I said its great...to be... a FLORIDA GATOR!"
- FeartheKnighted, on 01/09/2009, -1/+9Last time I checked "winning all your games" is pretty good grounds for being a champion.
- K4Lic0, on 01/09/2009, -0/+8Who knows? That's why they're supposed to PLAY for the National Championship..
- SteveMTyler, on 01/09/2009, -0/+8They were given a chance when they scheduled their non-conference games. Michigan was the only team from a real conference (not even that good this year (both the conference and the team)), and they won by 2.
- inactive, on 01/09/2009, -1/+8that credit goes to floridas defense. everyone should of known coming into the came bradford was not going up against the cupcake defense he is used to seeing. also 24 is not necessarily a lot or a little. try coming to my school (ucf) we would be glad to have 24 points any given Saturday.
- bilbravo, on 01/09/2009, -0/+7I think that was Austin 3:16
- LordHelmet, on 01/09/2009, -0/+7thats classy
- nopointinnames, on 01/09/2009, -1/+8While Utah is a great team, I still think they would have probably gotten their faces beaten in if they would have played OU or Florida.
OU played TCU this year, stomped them 35-10, wasn't much of a game.
Utah also played TCU this year, barely pulled that one out, a sad 13-10.
The BCS game should be the 2 BEST teams, never the 2 teams with the best record. I think the 2 best teams played on Thursday night. - Lemming882, on 01/09/2009, -0/+7Utah fans don't just want to be given the number 1 spot. We just want a chance to play for it. I believe Utah is a better team than Florida this year. I would love to see Utah and Texas play though...I think that would be the game of the year if it were to exist.
