- zuiquan, on 02/11/2009, -5/+50And only a year too late Brett. Good thing your legacy is still intact and you've still got all the Packer love you had before. Oh no wait...
- CNAIF, on 02/11/2009, -3/+39damn reruns
"yawn" - CTRaiderThe1st, on 02/11/2009, -5/+38Do you think he'll sob on camera like he did last time?

- inactive, on 02/11/2009, -3/+34I wished him luck last year...when he should have stayed retired. Not going to do it again.
- saleen761, on 02/11/2009, -2/+32"And the Minnesota Vikings would like to welcome the newest member to our organization, Mr. Brett Favre!"
- inactive, on 02/11/2009, -6/+35I plan to not give a *****.
- BenTheTank, on 02/11/2009, -2/+27Is he even having a press conference this time?
You may have to wait 'til he gets inducted into the Hall.
Also - I'm eating some lasagna that my wife made last night, and it is ***** delicious. Just thought you guys should know. - sarcoma, on 02/11/2009, -0/+17 Favre dismisses report of comeback - Made popular 221 days ago
- WatW, on 02/11/2009, -5/+17Now, don't let the door hit you on the way out.
- inactive, on 02/11/2009, -0/+12I'll take that bet. He is gone for good this time.
- Ljay90, on 02/11/2009, -1/+12I see what you did there.
- cubs0110, on 02/11/2009, -2/+12So now the talk begins, what team will he play for next year? Buccaneers?
- snobrder218, on 02/11/2009, -0/+8Amen. I went through all the emotional crap when he left his true team. Not doing it again.
- NickFrenzy, on 02/11/2009, -19/+26Godspeed Brett Favre. Enjoy your retirement, you deserve it bud.
- blah247, on 02/11/2009, -1/+8Again?
- Caedus, on 02/11/2009, -7/+13As a die-hard Packers fan, if Brett decides to come back and go to Minnesota, I will not complain.
I'm about as much of an NFL fan as I am a Packers fan, and seeing Brett playing for Minnesota would be nothing short of pure entertainment.
Regardless....thanks for the memories, Mr. Favre. - Jericho6, on 02/11/2009, -3/+9what about his Falcons legacy? :)
- czeman, on 02/11/2009, -1/+7Sure he does. This is what will happen next fall...
Brett will start second-guessing his decision AGAIN. The morning news on the radio will consist of nothing BUT talk about him possibly returning to football. Real news will go unreported. I'm not a sports fan, but the even divide of airtime between news and sports is just fine. I hate it when AM620 WTMJ's morning show spends an entire mother-***** hour talking about Brett Favre or sports in general. - mikhial66, on 02/11/2009, -1/+7From a Miami fan let me just say:
Thanks for Pennington, and that loss in Week 17! - welestgw, on 02/11/2009, -1/+7I plan to not give a ***** more than you.
- Ndiggnation, on 02/11/2009, -0/+6..and the entire town of Green Bay succumbs to the first collective heart attack in recorded history.
- bdfariello, on 02/11/2009, -1/+6Because then the Packer defensive line'll have more opportunities to sack the ***** out of Favre.
- welestgw, on 02/11/2009, -0/+5Brett Favre, Brett Favre, turducken.
- nextyoyoma, on 02/11/2009, -1/+6and so do we!
- Dezurtdog, on 02/11/2009, -2/+6What a joy to watch all these years. Have a great retirement Brett.
- FreddyKnuckles, on 02/11/2009, -1/+5There's no way he's coming back after all the things Jet's players like Thomas Jones said about him. That is a safe bet. He is clearly not wanted in that locker room.
- Mossman85, on 02/11/2009, -1/+5See you next year.
- D0nPedro, on 02/11/2009, -2/+6Three time's a charm.
- GTOFan350, on 02/11/2009, -1/+5I give it till next week and he'll be back playing again, probably for Minnesota. The man's addicted to football.
- BonJoevi, on 02/11/2009, -1/+5what about his Jets legacy? :)
- PhilliesBlunt, on 02/11/2009, -1/+4Heard it before.
- chrisinsocalif, on 02/11/2009, -1/+4He is retired...until next season.
- NJJ56, on 02/11/2009, -15/+18Dear Brett Farve,
***** you. You didn't do ***** besides tear this team apart front office down. Thomas Jones is right, you are a bitch.
Love,
Jets Fans - evilunleashed, on 02/11/2009, -1/+4I'll believe it when he's on a golf course instead of a football field on opening day. Not a minute before.
- FreddyKnuckles, on 02/11/2009, -3/+6As a fellow die-hard Packers fan, you are crazy. Favre going to Minnesota would be 2 guaranteed loses for the Pack next year. How could that be pure entertainment?
- protogenxl, on 02/11/2009, -0/+3Won't someone think of John Madden !?
- jrm71588, on 02/11/2009, -1/+4No one cares anymore. He's gonna end up like the rolling stones and their "reunion tours"
- wendelgee2, on 02/11/2009, -0/+3Fair enough.
The real bitch of all of this (I got a foul mouth today), is that the Jets did just well enough that they won't have a very high draft pick, so any QB they're likely to get in the draft is going to be the 4th, or 5th QB taken, which gets them...what? Curtis Painter, Purdue?
http://www.fftoolbox.com/nfl_draft/2009/top-nfl-pr ... - immatellyouwhat, on 02/11/2009, -0/+3The Favre is a lie.
- DerGeist, on 02/11/2009, -0/+3Yeah, you're right, but I think the time had come for Pennington at the Jets anyway. He's an above average QB but he's nothing spectacular. The Jets need a star QB to have any hope of their offense working. Now in that sense it IS still a fustercluck, since there's no obvious candidate that fits the bill for the Jets in '09, and Clemens just isn't ready.
Miami absolutely made the right call taking Chad. They just needed a dependable, solid guy, not necessarily an all-around top shelf QB, and that's Pennington. - daivos, on 02/11/2009, -2/+5When do the Vikings plan to introduce him?
- ABip13, on 02/11/2009, -0/+3I won't. I'm expecting to see him un-retire after being inducted to the Hall of Fame.
- jonnybreakbeat, on 02/11/2009, -1/+4The Jets aren't going to pay you to stay retired Brett... you missed that train...
- KayIslandDrunk, on 02/11/2009, -1/+4Losing Pennington was not a bad thing. He always fell apart late. Did you see what he did to the dolphins this year?
- immatellyouwhat, on 02/11/2009, -0/+2Stop recycling jokes from higher up on the page.
- Volatile36, on 02/11/2009, -0/+2ANYONE but Jeff Garcia.
