- nudedos, on 11/02/2009, -0/+13Al Bundy?
- NotDvorak, on 11/02/2009, -0/+13as a bears fan there are very few things you can be happy about
- DeviantDragon, on 11/02/2009, -4/+16Man, if only Rodgers had a better O-Line.
- h0v3rb1k3s, on 11/02/2009, -1/+11Four touchdowns IN A SINGLE GAME?! That must've done only about 15-20 times this season alone.
Not being a dick; just saying, the "in a single game" seems unnecessary. - crazycarlmar, on 11/02/2009, -0/+10The Favregeddon is real
- rwbrinso, on 11/02/2009, -2/+10So I guess that means we can fire up the "Favre 4 MVP" campaign now, then, huh? That we he won't disappear from the collective football watching conscious of our nation. Because that would just be too easy.
- sgerwel1985, on 11/02/2009, -1/+6It is great seeing Brett still play, love him or hate him for what he did with "retirement" this man is someone we shouldn't force out of the NFL so quickly... The man is a class act and is the last of a dying breed.
Keep up the work Brett! - badwithcomputer, on 11/02/2009, -0/+5http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ah5FEpGql9s
- snobrder218, on 11/02/2009, -0/+4Uh, we didn't trade you for Brett. He was a free agent then.
- kabewm, on 11/02/2009, -0/+4I wonder if he drives a Dodge too. . .At least we know he'll be selling womens shoes when he finally retires.
- heartless_, on 11/02/2009, -2/+6I guarantee with a better O line, the packers are sitting 6-2 or 7-1. When the line can hold, the Packers offense has dominated opponents.
- e2superman, on 11/02/2009, -0/+3Harvin was certainly a big part of the W.
- tehnico, on 11/02/2009, -0/+3That's pretty stupid. You have two games against the vikings remaining. If the Packers win, you have the chance to control your own destiny even better. Being happy about a Vikings win against another divisional opponent at this point only means you are aiming for 2nd place.
- NCSD, on 11/02/2009, -0/+2you guys sick of cutlers whining yet?
- Barackalypse, on 11/02/2009, -1/+3Not to take anything away from Favre, but when you have one of the greatest running backs who ever lived occupying the opposing defense, it really does open up the passing game.
- h0v3rb1k3s, on 11/02/2009, -0/+2Oh, haha. Well done. I rescind my comment.
But maybe it could've used a [/albundy] or something... - arial, on 11/02/2009, -0/+2O RLY? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kACbVGsWN74
- heartless_, on 11/02/2009, -1/+3Actually, no, its not done that often and Favre has now tied the record for # of games in which it was done.
- gkiltz, on 11/02/2009, -1/+3Ageful Treachery trumps youthful exuberance again.
- heartless_, on 11/02/2009, -0/+2Same story from all of last season and this season: Packers coming back late after cold starts and McCarthy/Rodgers haven't proven they can make those come from behind wins yet. Personally, I've never liked McCarthy as a coach and feel he holds the team back.
- mshensley, on 11/02/2009, -0/+2Not to mention the special teams play that gave him a short field to play on almost every time. Switch qb's with the packers and Minn. still wins.
- Kimera2006, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1Haha, that's what me and my friend said at the same time. Go Vikes!
- RadarG, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1I just thinking about that..
- snobrder218, on 11/02/2009, -3/+4Really though, how many ex-Packers do the Vikings need to become a good team?
In all honesty, I neither side should get too much about guff this game. Yes, there were things both teams could improve, but overall, the game was really close in the end, and was a great matchup. The Packers just didnt capitalize on key plays in the first half as well as the second. I mean, had some of those fieldgoals been touchdowns, the game would've looked totally different. Yes, that's usually always the case, but regardless, great game, great matchup.
I still don't like Brett anymore. Those boos that roared throughout the stadium would honestly hurt me if I was in his position. To think, we had Brett for 16 seasons, and now the entire state is against him. That really says something about the dislike for his decisions. *shrug* o well. - bantam, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1"It is great seeing Brett still play, love him or hate him for what he did with "retirement" this man is someone we shouldn't force out of the NFL so quickly... Keep up the work Brett!" - thebreach, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1I thought that was pretty damned funny myself. Just kind of a "...wait what the hell?" moment as you see 3 Packers run into each other and fall down
- thebreach, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1Overall a good game though, not like it was a brutal one sided ass kicking or anything. The Packers finally got their ***** together in the second half, but it was too late in the end. Favre threw some beautiful passes.
- heartless_, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1I had flashbacks to 4th and 26 from the Philadelphia Eagles vs Packers game a few years back.
- tokomini, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1You can't not know who a person is and then swear they retired.
- akamurph, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1I thought of bowling pins.
- tehnico, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1Woodson was trying too hard for the pick, and that was the result. He should've known he wouldn't intercept that one and played the tackle instead. But no, he dives and then crashes into the two safeties playing over top.
- bkVII, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1Ha, yes. And god damn, Harvin is a BEAST!!
- NCSD, on 11/02/2009, -0/+1I love it
- slappymode, on 11/02/2009, -1/+2The Packers trading Favre to the Vikings was even dumber than when the Vikings traded Randy Moss to the Patriots.
- ggrubins, on 11/02/2009, -3/+3brett didn't quit, thompson got rid of him. the fans should understand that. the nfl doesn't care about loyalty. an owner will fire you without thinking twice if they think you're washed-up so why should the players be loyal? this ain't kid stuff it's a business. this should be a lesson to everyone, never sell your prized cow until you're sure you've milked every last drop out of it.
- arial, on 11/02/2009, -1/+1^ special teams gave Minn great field position almost every punt/kick return. Even Jamarcus Russell could have thrown a few TDs with that kind of field position that many times in a row. Sorry Raiders fans :)
- bkVII, on 11/02/2009, -1/+1The answer to your first question...
Two. - o0adam0o, on 11/03/2009, -1/+1Nope... theyd be sitting with the same record... Rogers doesnt know when to throw it away
- mshensley, on 11/02/2009, -2/+1Don't blame Rodgers. Every time he got them close, the defense would blow it again and allow Minn. a big play and an easy td.
- justjk88, on 11/02/2009, -4/+2as a bears fan this makes me very happy.
- bigpixl, on 11/02/2009, -4/+1Here's a tip for Green Bay:
Stop trading your players to a division rival.
/vikings fan - sajuuk, on 11/02/2009, -8/+3Favre? Who is this person. I could have sworn he retired.
You're dead to me NFL. I'll go watch some English Premier League now.
