- gwgrayson, on 03/05/2009, -0/+6I read some of his entries and they're actually quite insightful. Granted he has plenty of time to be insightful, but this guy posts an awful lot to not be sincere. I can't say whether or not it's genuine but his words are certainly inspiring and speak to the validity of second chances in society. I know a lot of people may say, "Who cares, he deserves to rot in prison for what he did." But the main purpose of prison is to rehabilitate an individual for a productive return to society. Hopefully Mr. Clarett will be a much more productive member than he once was. Here's a quote from the blog:

He went against the school (the whole OMG THEY IS TEH CHEATING!), he went against common sense (driving with a gun just miles from someone who is gonna testify to you, BAD IDEA!), and he is just a piece of history most people wish would go away.

He had a talent that very few get and he wasted it. You can't blame the school, they went after the talent. Any Michigan fan who thinks our program hasn't made some mistakes are dead wrong. Our boosters do the same as other schools. Do you really think all our players pass their classes?
