- FlaG8r, on 11/28/2008, -0/+35What did they expect? Eagles are birds of prey that weigh 50 times as much as the seed-eating cardinals.

- ell0bo, on 11/28/2008, -0/+11I learned on lesson, if I want the Eagles to win, I need to bench McNabb on my fantasy team. Last week I played him, he gave me -7 points. This week I bench him, he scores 50. Well, I'm willing to have my fantasy team loose if you promise to keep doing that McNabb.
- inactive, on 11/28/2008, -7/+16I was in Arizona earlier this week, and I was amazed by the way the fans and media there seemed to expect an easy Cardinals win in Philadelphia. I didn't have a preference in the game, but it was nice to see McNabb excel with his back against the wall, and Michael Westbrook might be the NFL's most underrated player.
- SetOverSet, on 11/28/2008, -6/+15Every team in the NFC East is better than any other team in the NFL.
- meed, on 11/28/2008, -0/+8meanwhile the Cowboys shot down the seahawks and the Titans slew the lions in buy double digits.
- EvilJelloMan, on 11/28/2008, -0/+7As an Eagles fan I'm happy with the win, and it proves that, when McNabb and Westbrook are on their game, da birds are a dominant force. That still doesn't remove the problem that, when those two aren't "on", the offense is worthless.
Fire Andy Reid, or at the very least, kick him out of the GM role, so personnel decisions are out of his hands. It looks like he FINALLY stopped being so ***** stubborn and tried to pick up a power back who can get you those third-and-short yards, but the fact that it took him this long into the season to do so proves that Andy Reid is too boneheaded to be the head coach. If he had listened to the complaints about his play calling and personnel choices six weeks ago, the Eagles could very well be a near-lock for the playoffs instead of a desperate dream. - EvilJelloMan, on 11/28/2008, -0/+6it, like many of the 'important' games this season, was on the NFL network where ***** of people are unable to see it. I hate the NFL network with the searing heat of a thousand suns.
- inactive, on 11/28/2008, -0/+6Sorry, I swear I know the difference. I guess I accidentally proved my own point. It's nice to see such a great player with no apparent ego.

- inactive, on 11/28/2008, -3/+8Amazing game. Unfortunatly though it does not mean much in terms of the playoffs. Barring some kind of NFC meltdown (particularly in the NFC East), the Eagles will miss the playoffs for a second year in a row. The Eagles should have been playing like that all season and we would already be looking forward to the playoffs.
- srt4b, on 11/28/2008, -2/+7Why? He played horrible. In my experience, if you suck you don't play.
- EvilJelloMan, on 11/28/2008, -0/+4Andy looks more like an over-stuffed thanksgiving turkey.
- awtripp, on 11/28/2008, -0/+4Dude. Filter out the sports stories if you don't want to see them. 90% of your comments have been about how sports suck or calling people "d-bag" on sport's threads. And you only have 14 comments in 2 years. Some people like sports and some people don't. Get over it.
- noots, on 11/28/2008, -0/+4i must be one of the 3 cardinals fans on digg.
if they minimize mistakes they can play with anyone in the league and have proven so this season, but they seem almost "immature" at present, which i guess is understandable considering they have sucked ***** for the last 3 decades.
it's quite exciting. - bigp3rm, on 11/28/2008, -6/+10*****.
- 1807, on 11/28/2008, -2/+6Are you ***** Kidding me? Americas team my ass, i'd take the eagles over the Cowboys any day of the week.
- EvilJelloMan, on 11/28/2008, -1/+4Agreed. It took the complete ***** last week to make Fat Man Andy "Nah, I don't need any tight ends who can catch a ball, or a power back" Reid wake the ***** up and realize the way he was running the team was losing football games. If that stubborn prick had listened to the analysts earlier in the season, we wouldn't be facing another "hope-and-pray" season ending.
- kpaphysicist, on 11/28/2008, -0/+3playoffs? don't talk about playoffs.. playoffs?
- jaydoj, on 11/28/2008, -0/+3Seahawks fan here living in AZ, and not to discredit what you guys have going, congrats on the season...but wow, the bandwagon-itis has hit Arizona hard.
- MachineMessiah, on 11/28/2008, -1/+3They took the right route to the rout
- EvilJelloMan, on 11/28/2008, -0/+2srt and russizm are missing the point - the REASON mcnabb has sucked lately is because Andy Reid is throwing the ball 75% of the time. When you don't have any running threat, the opponent's defense can anticipate and completely dominate you, which is exactly what happened. Ed Reed said as much in his post-game interview, and he was responsible for what, two of those picks?
McNabb's issue was one of coaching, and although he hasn't played great, his head coach deserves far more blame than the quarterback. - kkinack, on 11/28/2008, -2/+4So you don't watch to much football do you.
- russizm, on 11/28/2008, -1/+3ORLY?
"McNabb was 8-for-18 for 59 yards with two interceptions and a fumble in the first half—a miserable 13.2 quarterback rating. One week earlier, he threw three interceptions and lost a fumble in an overtime tie with Cincinnati."
^^ Completely uncalled for. - srt4b, on 11/28/2008, -0/+2Obvious spammer is obvious.
- jseres, on 11/28/2008, -1/+3Hate to break it to you but barring a complete meltdown in the NFC they don't have a chance in hell to make it to the playoffs.
- EvilJelloMan, on 11/28/2008, -0/+2***** A!
Worst head coach in football, and all it took was half the NFL commentators calling for his resignation to make him realize "hey guys, when I run the ball more than 25 percent of the time, with my future hall of famer running back, I actually win games"
The fat man is so ***** dense it's appalling. All last season fans were calling for him to run the ball, pick up a power back, and get some tight ends. He's done two of those things, and what do you know, they blow out the team with one of the highest-producing QBs in football. It's sad when your fans are out-coaching your coach. - LordRedSnake, on 11/28/2008, -0/+250 points? Standard scoring got him like 28 points.
- homer4199, on 11/28/2008, -0/+2You need to take your name seriously and STFU.
- SetOverSet, on 11/28/2008, -0/+1Actually I watch a ton. Name one team outside of the NFC East that is better than any NFC East team. Titans? --> Please. Jets--> Please. Steelers? ---> Please. No no wait.....The Panthers?....Please.
- jayistheman, on 11/28/2008, -0/+1Lose.
One day, my friends. One day. - JeddHampton, on 11/28/2008, -0/+1THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!
- istor, on 11/28/2008, -1/+2Wow... keep dreaming pal. Remaining schedule:
Giants - loss
Browns - win
Skins - loss
Cowboys - loss
They might be able to beat the Cowboys as overrated as they are, but it's a toss up. Best possible record for the Eagles is 8-7-1. They'll be the bottom rung in the East and will not be going to the playoffs.
It's time to give up on McNabb who has always been overrated. The Eagles are about to enter a rebuilding period, actually they entered it last year but didn't know it and squandered the time. - tidu, on 11/28/2008, -0/+1O
- DickyT83, on 11/28/2008, -0/+1Luckily I started Westbrook on my fantasy team this week. What a beast.
- jonthefisherman, on 11/29/2008, -0/+1***** fithadelphia and their ***** fans
scum of the earth=eagles fans - robbiedo, on 11/29/2008, -0/+1Yeah, I used to say that. Then, I dumped Comcast, and subscribed to Dish Turbo HD package. Of course, I found out that satellite is nowhere near as reliable as cable, but I can live with it.
- LordRedSnake, on 11/28/2008, -0/+1It's more like, if you run it effectively, they win. Westbrook was useless against Cincinnati and Baltimore, half from his injuries, half from poorly designed plays. But it looks like it was mostly poorly designed plays because Westbrook still had a career game yesterday even while literally limping on and off the field.
- jonthefisherman, on 11/29/2008, -0/+1*****
- AAK15, on 11/29/2008, -0/+11) Fire Andy Reid and McNabb
2) Give Westbrook a raise
3) ***** Chris Collinsworth. Worst announcer EVER - STARTSOMETHING, on 11/29/2008, -0/+1As long as romo doesn't break his pinkie again, and pacman can stay out of suspension.
