- bdfariello, on 12/09/2008, -0/+17Hell, on Sunday when they put in their seventh string running back I was blown away. I didn't even know they HAD seventh string players in the NFL. Hell, Tatum Bell (lucky #7) was selling cell phones in a mall kiosk a month ago

- duggdowncatisad, on 12/09/2008, -0/+14Damn the AFC West sucks this year.
- rockstar1o9, on 12/09/2008, -0/+11They should have open tryouts for the residents of Denver. Maybe they'll find some random athletic guy, like a bartender down on his luck because of the recession, whose only football experience comes from the weekly pickup games he plays in the rain with his old neighborhood buddies
- RiMac, on 12/09/2008, -3/+12I'd really hate to see the Chargers take over. Philip Rivers has zero class.
- KibblesnBitts, on 12/09/2008, -0/+9And yet...they're 8-5 and in first place in the division
- inactive, on 12/09/2008, -0/+6and my raiders still fail to string two plays together
- NeoCortex, on 12/09/2008, -0/+6Man, that would be such an awesome movie. But audiences don't like Denver. We might need to move it out east somewhere.
- suzaku, on 12/09/2008, -0/+5I have to admit I've not kept up with the NFL these past few years, but even with all these injuries they're 1st in their division at 8-5. Is the Bronco's running game still so good that you could plug in anybody at running back and they would go for a 1000 in a season, as long as they're healthy?
- MuttCuttz, on 12/09/2008, -0/+5i agree Rivers is a bag of-D on such an epic scale its hard to fathom.
- jazzguitar18, on 12/09/2008, -0/+5it says 5... but it's actually 6. Selvin young has been injured as well, if hes not then put him in that guys pretty alright.
- MuttCuttz, on 12/09/2008, -2/+6that "rat fink" coach is one of the best of our time.
- tehnico, on 12/09/2008, -0/+4I wont knock ANY team that sweeps the NFC south this year. That division is on fire. They are a combined 24-2 at home this year. Playing in the south is almost a guaranteed loss at this point. The Broncos have one of those wins however, and look to finish off the division this weekend. To sweep that insanely tough division, and lose to OAK and KC is nothing short of bizarre. I see your point of consistency.
- vtbarrera, on 02/03/2009, -0/+3Another one bites the dust!
- ell0bo, on 12/09/2008, -0/+3So has my fantasy team. First 3 picks all went down, and I have yet to go a week without losing someone. Next year I'm just drafting the Cowboys players. That way when they go down, at least I have something to make me feel better.
- warbrain, on 12/09/2008, -0/+3Or the worst story every because everyone would believed that it was fixed.
Keep dreaming, btw. - scottblystone, on 12/09/2008, -0/+3Selvin Young isn't on IR, although he may as well be for all the time he's played.
- Neiby, on 12/09/2008, -0/+3He had become my favorite player recently, along with Spencer Larsen.
- Chrysalii, on 12/09/2008, -0/+3See what a good offensive line does?
- bdfariello, on 12/09/2008, -1/+3Yeah, but look at the scoring differential for their wins.
They beat Oakland by 27, the Jets by 17, and KC by 7 (this past weekend, after losing by 14 the first time they played in week 4).
Other than those decent wins, they beat San Diego by 1, NO by 2, TB by 3, and Cleveland and Atlanta by 4. I know at the end of the day it's the mark in the Win column that matters, but I can't see Denver having much success in the play-offs (provided they don't blow it in the last 3 weeks). - SillyRabbits, on 12/09/2008, -1/+3For many, many years they were consistently one of the toughest - the pendulum has certainly swung the other way this season.
- Bamboozled, on 12/09/2008, -0/+2Haha yeah it would definitely be a long shot.
Yeah people would only think it was fixed if there were questionable calls by the refs/officials... oh wait. Good god. - theandyj, on 12/09/2008, -0/+2Try being a Browns fan =/
- Zopperoni, on 12/09/2008, -0/+2Especially since they're slated to play the Colts.
- inactive, on 12/09/2008, -0/+2This is the most pointless comment I have ever read....
- TjLAXattack, on 12/09/2008, -0/+2It's been nice to have Jay Cutler on my fantasy team.
- cm32438, on 12/09/2008, -0/+2Yea, it really is about that good... I wish Hillis had held up though, he was running people over left and right. A 250-ish lb. Running Back is tough to stop.
- hitman619, on 12/09/2008, -0/+2two words - Shaun Alexander!
I think he was recently released from the Redskins - tehnico, on 12/09/2008, -0/+2My fantasy team has gone through all the Denver running backs, talk about handcuffs for handcuffs! It's tough to complain though. Since I've started them all in different games, the Denver running back position has turned out to be a 1300yrd, 11td player so far. Not too shabby. Hillis was definitely my favourite, but Ryan Torain looked pretty good too.
- damndj, on 12/09/2008, -0/+2***** thing SUCKS
:( - turtlegroove, on 12/09/2008, -0/+1Ive never seen a team have the ability to trout out decent running backs like the Broncos do..I wish Shanahan could share this knowledge with Bill Belichick cause my Pats havent had a consistently good running back since Curtis Martin...
- ntulip, on 12/09/2008, -1/+2yeah - take a look at my beloved Jaguars. I don't even feel bad for Denver.
- Tempest66, on 12/09/2008, -0/+0They also lost last years starting backfield to start the year, FB Cecil Sapp was released with an "injury settlement" and is now with Houston. Travis Henry was released during training camp "He’s just too inconsistent as a person" after the Bronco's found out that he was facing drug charges in two jurisdictions.
- Chrysalii, on 12/09/2008, -3/+2Bill Belichick..??? I hate the Patriots and he's a bigger rat fink and all around ass than anyone, but even with the cheating it's hard to argue against it.
- ibone, on 12/09/2008, -8/+3Could not have happened to a better team.... Broncos circumvented the Cap to sight Elway and the gang and won 2 Super Bowls.
The rat fink coach is a real piece of ***** too. - Skelaton4, on 12/09/2008, -6/+1This is the most pointless article I have ever read....
- Bamboozled, on 12/09/2008, -8/+3:D Maybe they will lose all 3 of their games now and the Chargers will win all 3 of their final games and steal the division! Haha it's a long shot but as a bolts fan one can only hope. Imagine if that happened though, and somehow the Chargers made it to the super bowl and won. It would be the largest under dog success story in NFL history.
