- jmas9, on 10/10/2007, -2/+12Someone should tell Culpepper that R Moss isn't in Oakland anymore.
- GorillaCowboy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11too bad their o-line still sucks and they'll both get sacked 5 times a game.
- JimmyRyan, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7Russel will sign too. It the Raiders are ready to take Cullpepper too that is some depth from nothing last year!
- cusoman, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Weird to think he's going there just after Moss left.
- anizzle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4The title is spelled wrong.....OUTRAGEOUS!!
- Rethcir, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Miami screwed Miami!!!
- trenchcoat, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6What? They're not going to wait for Michael Vick?
- glucoseboy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Brilliant! If Vick makes it out of his current jam, he definitely would fit in with the Raiders!
- doctorperv, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I think the key words are "near" MVP and "few years ago". No team wants a QB controvesy so any team that has a good starting QB doesnt want to bring this guy in to create friction, and any team that needs a QB doesn't want a guy who only wants a one year contract they want someone for the future. That's why the Jags passed on him.
- ShugNinx21, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2That was a few years ago when he hadn't blown his knee to bits and also had Randy Moss as a WR.
Since his knee injury all he has done is suck while getting sacked on a record shattering pace. I know the Fin's O-Line isn't the best but.
First 5 game with Cullpepper - 25 sacks....
Next 5 games with Harrington - 5 sacks... - doctorperv, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Cullpepper wants to sign a one year deal so he can then hit the FA market and get a long term contract for big bucks. That might work out for Oakland so they can give Russell a clipboard year. I doubt any other team is really interested in him.
- FeartheKnighted, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Because the pro bowl selects ***** quarterbacks all the time. You fail at life.
- onehitwonder, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Get ready for more sacks and fumbles.
- Gregus1032, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Daunte said *many* times that he was ready to play and was healed enough to play like he did before. Which could have been true, if the offensive line didn't look like a line straight out of high school. I wouldn't be surprised if those 20+ sacks aggravated his knee. That line not only screwed over both qb's, but it also screwed ronnie brown on a lot of the plays as well. could barely establish a running game, and the passing game was rushed way to much.
Good luck to Daunte, I think he is still capable of being a good QB, just gotta shake the rust off and gain some confidence back. - humperdeath, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Raiders seem to be the most 'experienced' team in the NFL. Average player has about 18 years playing. On paper, they should be great. Too bad they dont play on paper.
- harrypl0tter, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2a ***** player to a ***** team....what a match
- FeartheKnighted, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1http://digg.com/football/Culpepper_signs_1_year_deal_with_Raiders
Daunte made it official, he's signing with them - Skepsis, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Ugh... Being a raiders fan, I'm not sure if I like this. I like McCown a lot better. I guess Russell is a lot like Cullpepper and that may help.
- fino35, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This is the best thing since we(The Raiders) signed Wade "Whiskey" Wilson!
- in2deep, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I read today they signed him to a deal...should be interesting to see if it pans out!
- threemagic, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Dante was a near MVP of the regular season just a few years ago.. I GUARANTEE more than 1 team is looking at him. Money is the problem... and the gamble. If you can figure a way to land him, will he be healthy enough to be the Dante of old.
- ShugNinx21, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1By awesome depth, you mean having a QB that blew out his whole knee and hasn't really played football in the NFL in the last 2 years.
I know he says he's ready to play again but he also said that last year which he clearly wasn't. All he ended up doing last year was drag the team down with him because he wouldn't be honest about where he was in his rehabilitation. - ShugNinx21, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2You're the Dumb ass. He told the Miami coaches that he was progressing fine and that his knee was rehabilitating well. After he got benched he finally came out and told them that he was still experiencing pain and that he wasn't physically ready to play.
- in2deep, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1As I said before he is a bum...it will be interesting to see how he does there I suppose
- fino35, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1yes I would, but my team is the raiders.
- hoovcluck, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1No it was because piano-joey beat him out!
- jmas9, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Its Dumas!
- harrypl0tter, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1LOL would you want him on your team? That's what I thought........
- FeartheKnighted, on 10/10/2007, -3/+3Hey dumbass he didn't screw Miami, your retarded coach screwed him and made him play before he was fully healed.
- onlywirenow, on 07/14/2008, -0/+0Idon't like it
http://merchant-account-guide.com - smacksaw, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1It's a great way to continue that fabled Raiders tradition of a big dumbass who looks at one receiver and throws a ton of INTs.
- ezkash, on 02/08/2008, -0/+0Lame. Who cares? http://ginster-web.com
- evilninjax, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0yeah, that Raiders QB in camp looks like:
Josh McCown, Andrew Walter, Cody Pickett, Josh Booty (he might have been cut already, though), and now Culpepper?
yikes. - FeartheKnighted, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1well that sounds nice, too bad its not true. Have fun living in this little fantasy world you invent?
- defwhig, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0Robert Gallery will be pushed back and stumble causing him to fall into Culpepper. Upon impact, Culpepper will break his leg and simultaenously poop his britches. He will then email everyone the pictures of his soiled trousers.
- hoovcluck, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1When will the raiders learn that signing washed up vikings players will not help them.
I know from experience when mooch coached my lions he brought over all of the trash from the 49ers.
And now marinelli is bringing over all of the trash from the bucs.
The Lions are superbowl bound! - JonTheGoose, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1WTS Dolphins Culpepper Jersey. Brand new, only worn twice.
- Piedramente, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1CULLPEPPERRRRRR!!!
