  • Midtowner, on 12/06/2008, -2/+10Get ready for more shots of Daniel acting like a little bitch on the sidelines. Oklahoma matches up pretty well. The secondary is good, the WLB and SLB are excellent, the line is great. The only real question is the MLB, a 25-year old former construction worker who started off this season as the 5th string MLB. His only game experience came against OSU where he came in for 9 plays, making 3 tackles.

    Last year, OU MLB Curtis Lofton (you may have heard of him, he's now starting for the Falcons), gave Daniel hell in two games, making the vaunted Missouri offense look positively anemic.

    This year, Missouri is 0-fer against Big XII South teams, their defense has fallen off quite a bit, and the rushing game isn't really there.

    Daniel should be running around in the backfield all night as pressure will not be a problem for OU. He'll make plays, but he'll give up some plays along the way. Give the OU offense a couple of turnovers and that's all they need to turn this game into a route.

    The bottom line is that Missouri will not be able to match the Sooners score for score and Oklahoma will win big.

A little smack talk is fine, but if you're 0-fer against the team you're playing and in all of the recent meetings, you've lost decisively, show some humility.
