- lnxfi, on 11/09/2009, -4/+131I love that guy. He spits in the face of the No Fun League.
- Nakket, on 11/09/2009, -1/+103Chad Ochocinco really is what I like to see in a player. Despite his outward appearance of being child-like, he does take the game seriously. I mean, why do we want all of our athletes to be stone cold? Chad seems like he's just a guy who loves to have fun AND play the game, and honestly I'd rather have him then some gun toting/drug loving/trouble making player on my team.
And when the NFL was supporting breast cancer awareness, I thought I heard that he would match any fines he received and donate them toward research. - gsfgf, on 11/09/2009, -1/+88A dollar ain't a bribe. It's a prop.
- dancubed, on 11/09/2009, -5/+74When can we admit that the NFL is entertainment and that is just what Chad Ochocinco provides?
- SpazAttack5000, on 11/09/2009, -3/+65$1? More like priceless.
- MoeDef, on 11/09/2009, -3/+48Can always rely on Ochocinco to pull these shenanigans. I love it! All these fines for just having fun.
- SNESChalmers, on 11/09/2009, -0/+43Yeah Ocho Cinco said he was going to wear a pink chinstrap for the entire Breast Cancer Awareness month, as opposed to the one game that the NFL was planning on allowing pink equipment, and that any find he incurred due to the pink chinstrap he would match as a donation towards breast cancer awareness. The NFL realized he was about to make them look bad, so they changed the rule so that everyone could wear pink equipment for the entire month.
- ThatGeek, on 11/09/2009, -0/+42I'm a bengals fan, so im obviously a little biased, but this would be the most retarded fine chad has ever incurred
- DrKnowitall, on 11/09/2009, -0/+34The guy actually changed his name so the NFL would let him put it on his jersey. You have to respect the guy's commitment to his bits. When other players are relaxing from a tough day at practice, Ochocinco is working on new material to entertain people. That smile he brings to our faces, even if only momentary, is worth it to him.
- chang3, on 11/09/2009, -1/+28Oh do shut up
- davdev, on 11/09/2009, -1/+26You must be the most boring person on the planet to hang out with
- wakeborder, on 11/09/2009, -3/+27child please
- SNESChalmers, on 11/09/2009, -1/+19I've gone back and forth on Chad Johnson throughout the years. At his best he's a saner, funnier version of TO. At his worst he was a nuisance that detracts from the team. But stuff like this and the fact that he sent the Ravens' d-backs deodorant sticks before this weeks game because "they had trouble covering me last time and I want them to be able to get a little closer" just slay me. The dude is funny.
- Buckeye17, on 11/09/2009, -2/+20You sound like a really fun guy!
- Okinsley, on 11/09/2009, -1/+18bro he had a dollar bill. Nobody took that ***** seriously.
- zzzpoohzzz, on 11/09/2009, -0/+17as a steelers fan... i must say, i still love ochocinco... he has me laughing my ass off, while still impressed with his skills every game i see him play
- Egotrippin, on 11/09/2009, -5/+19The NFL needs guys like Mr. Cinco.
- stereosaurus, on 11/09/2009, -0/+14What about when he got fined for a sign that said "Please dont fine me again"
- Axxion, on 11/09/2009, -2/+14I think he is awesome, like previous comments, he is out there to have fun and enjoy what he does and at the same time takes it seriously. I played football, and I know when you have a player like him who can always lighten the mood it makes your team as a whole play better and have fun doing it. Chad, you are ***** awesome!
- paulvq, on 11/09/2009, -0/+12Chad Ochocinco's ability does make him stand out. He's a very good receiver.
- fiziks, on 11/09/2009, -1/+12I will never be able to call him Chad "Ochocinco".
But this was pretty cool, the NFL needs to show that it can have some fun. - Csaliture, on 11/09/2009, -1/+10Buzz Killington here...
- ringo0309, on 11/09/2009, -1/+9Haven't you seen those commercials you can't get anything for a dollar
- paulvq, on 11/09/2009, -1/+9You've got to be kidding me.
- richardfretueg, on 11/09/2009, -0/+8After three to four hour games? Yes, we need some fun.
- bfogarty27, on 11/09/2009, -0/+7are we eskimo brothers?
- superkeer, on 11/09/2009, -0/+7I made it a point to draft Ochocinco as my first receiver on my fantasy team this year. I used to really be annoyed by the guy, but then I lightened up a little and now he's one of my favorite football personalities.
- piratearggghhh, on 11/09/2009, -0/+7Someone post or find a video of this please!
- JeffDUpp, on 11/09/2009, -2/+8lucky for the Bengals, they have both
- zzzpoohzzz, on 11/09/2009, -1/+6hey man... i just heard about this party... i'm probably gonna go, but, they specifically said you're not invited.
lighten up... it was a joke. - DrKnowitall, on 11/09/2009, -0/+4A lot of better players than there were back then. With so much talent you need a little more to stick out. Things change. Surprised you haven't noticed.
- canadabluesfan, on 11/09/2009, -1/+5Haha that is awesome, NFL would be stupid to give him a fine.
- DickyT83, on 11/09/2009, -0/+4No, but if you've watched Hard Knocks, you'd know his girlfriend is quite the looker.
- madcaps1980, on 11/09/2009, -6/+10I'm one of those people who can't stand Ochocinco and his antics, but I have to admit, that ***** pretty funny!!
- SPRFRKR, on 11/09/2009, -0/+3Judging by the username, he's a real hit at parties!
- onomatopoet, on 11/09/2009, -4/+7Yeah!! And "Pot" cigarettes are gateway drugs. Stay safe!
- DrKnowitall, on 11/09/2009, -0/+3Kiss da baby!
- DickyT83, on 11/09/2009, -0/+3Well said. He's a lot like Dwight Howard. Constantly getting a bad rap for not being serious all the time, but these guys really make the game fun.
- bemenaker, on 11/09/2009, -0/+3I thought he was betting on the outcome of the call, not bribing.
- myonlinefavs, on 11/22/2009, -0/+2I agree with all of the commenters who state in one form or another how entertaining the antics of Chad are. The $1 stunt was brilliant, funny and ingenious. Chad should be applauded and the NFL should be thankful they have such personalities to make the game just what it is; entertaining.
- mikedeezy33, on 11/09/2009, -0/+2Is anyone else getting redirected to some iframe?? I couldn't read the article, it kept redirecting.
- bemenaker, on 11/09/2009, -0/+2Chad is called the hardest worker on the team. Thanks for playing but you obviously don't know much about football, or at least the Bengals.
- SPRFRKR, on 11/09/2009, -0/+2"A man has the right to change his name to vatever he vants to change it to. And if a man vants to be called Chad Ochocinco, godammit this is a free country, you should respect his vishes, and call the man Chad Ochocinco! "
- noclss2000, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1I was getting it with IE8 a few times, finally I just started hitting "stop loading" so the iframe wouldn't take over.
- wkrausmann, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1If Chad Johnson matched his fines with donations of equal amounts, there'd be a cure for cancer by now.
- Csaliture, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1except two all beef patties, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a bun; known fondly as the mcdouble!
I'm a slave to the advertising industry... - Kingal, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1I am getting the same with firefox. So I tried IE and it didn't redirect.
- PhilliesBlunt, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1fwiw: The Refs missed an obvious pass interference call against the Bengals that occured in the endzone in this game. This after calling one FOR the Bengals that extended a drive in the first quarter that was about the most BS pass interference call I've ever seen in my life. Just sayin'.
- chargerland, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1don't be a douche and fine him goodell/No Fun League
