- AmyVernon, on 11/21/2008, -0/+14I was gonna comment, then saw yours. I have nothing to add, because that, my friend, is 100 percent true.
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -1/+12I wanted to say "Holy *****. That sucks!", but it is too much like the other comment. Feel bad for his family especially with the holidays coming up.
- diggNewton, on 11/21/2008, -1/+11This happens at Shea stadium all the time -- but it's drunk rowdy chooch's and not hard working rust-belt beat reports. R.I.P. Tom...We're Talkin' Proud!
- kingofinternet, on 11/21/2008, -8/+16he's gone to a better place
(i.e. not buffalo) - smilingcandle, on 11/21/2008, -3/+11That's really unfortunate. Reminds me of an incident in Bangalore (India) when a spectator fell off a stand in a crowded stadium during the course of the match.
May his soul rest in peace. Let god bestow upon his family the strength to overcome his demise. - inactive, on 11/21/2008, -0/+6Man, I used to sit in with that guy at games when I was reporting for my school paper.
- nickbr00tality, on 11/21/2008, -0/+6So sad. Rest in peace.
A lot of the spamming comments suck. A man died...Have some respect. - LZeppelinJ0, on 11/21/2008, -0/+6That's awful, he was a great reporter :(
- mimigins, on 11/22/2008, -0/+5no.. he's dead *****
- rdwinder, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5RIP
- LOCK3D, on 11/21/2008, -1/+6I find the fact that there are press boxes at high school games rather frightening. People take sports way too seriously. Most people know more about their favorite team than the people they elect. Those are some pretty ***** up priorities.
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -4/+8Lol. What a ridiculous comment.
- terrortwilights, on 11/21/2008, -2/+6I would have expected this to happen to one of the Buffalo Bills' fans. I mean they're drunk enough to be shirtless in 10F weather, surely they lack the coordination to remain planted.
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -1/+5Once again WNY makes the news, and once again it's not for anything good.
I need to get out of here. - GQCarrick, on 11/22/2008, -0/+2What a jackass you are sir, your name suits you.
- Tweets, on 11/22/2008, -1/+3Stairs. So simple yet so dangerous.
- digginaround, on 11/22/2008, -0/+2That ought to put the life of Grape-Stomping Lady Reporter into perspective.
- Brennn10, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2Darn, that is too bad. It is sad to see things like this happen to awesome people. God bless him and his family.
- GQCarrick, on 11/22/2008, -0/+2I am glad I am staying, you pussies can leave town, I'm not scared.
- toros, on 11/22/2008, -0/+2He was the best Lacrosse reporter around. He covered the Buffalo Bandits from 1992-2008 and was truly a part of the team..
We love and miss you already Tom. - inactive, on 11/22/2008, -0/+1to all reporter out there please be aware and be careful
- jecrawf, on 11/22/2008, -0/+1Can you say lawsuit? The report say he hit his head on a steel girder while climbing the stairs to the press box.
- Phoenix478, on 11/22/2008, -1/+2I'm really glad I did....
- replaysMike, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1Man that blows.
- jsip, on 11/22/2008, -0/+1XD signed in just to digg this
-buffalonian - inactive, on 11/21/2008, -2/+2Drink up. This night thy soul may be required of thee. . .
I seriously wonder sometimes if I'm going to be claimed by a FREAK ACCIDENT! - matthewaaron, on 11/22/2008, -1/+1I tumbled head over heals down 20 or 30 metal bleacher steps in middle school... that sucked and I didn't even die!
- Subduction, on 11/22/2008, -1/+1But not before dinosaurs tripped him.
- Subduction, on 11/22/2008, -1/+1If people's kids ran for office, then they would pay as much attention to that.
School sports is something that people are involved in as a family. It's fun for kids and parents to read about themselves in hometown papers. That's what hometown papers are for.
Maybe your parents made a special effort to support your budding cynicism as a child, but some other families do, in fact, have different priorities. - jayerk, on 11/22/2008, -3/+3The Buffalo News is still a ***** newspaper.
- GQCarrick, on 11/24/2008, -1/+1There is a time and place to complain about something but this isn't it.
- nepidae, on 11/22/2008, -1/+0Lots of people die every day, if we were genuinely sad about each and every one then this would be a miserable world.
- Subduction, on 11/22/2008, -1/+0Sorry Matthew, but you're old enough to know now:
Yes you did. - ikillpeoplexx, on 11/22/2008, -6/+4Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo
- Subduction, on 11/22/2008, -2/+0Don't know why you people are digging him down. You actually get a page that says that if you hit the link using Chrome.
- Siskoraban, on 11/22/2008, -5/+0Buried because Comcast doesn't support Google Chrome and tells me I need a "modern, standards-compliant internet browser".
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -13/+6Jesus called him home.
- INTERNETMASTER, on 11/21/2008, -8/+1video plz
- offbeatapostle, on 11/21/2008, -14/+2It's time to upgrade your browser (support)!
The web page you're using to tell me that I have an out of date browser appears to be out-of-date. In order for me to enjoy what Comcast.net has to offer, you need to recognize a modern, standards-compliant internet browser, such as Google Chrome.
Why upgrade?
- It's Faster
- Better Security
- New features
