Actually Rodgers is not in a contract year til next year. He has been watching Favre for 3+ yrs now and if Favre finally retires next yr. do you think that Brohm is the guy. Why buy into Rodgers.....he has only proven he's injury prone. If A-Rod goes down...then what. As it stands, the Pack has a rookie back up. How fair is that to the rest of the team. A-Rod is in a contract year...if he does well, he'll be looking for real money next year-while we still have Favre under contract. If A. Rod does bad....TT and MM have egg on their face for letting a HOF QB slip through their fingers. In short, from a business sense it makes sense to bring back Favre.
With Brett Favre...immediate contender for a Superbowl....w/ A.Rod....maybe a winning season at best.
