- bdogo, on 12/26/2008, -0/+22Go Dolphins - no thanks to Saban
- vsujohn2, on 12/26/2008, -0/+13How about the Falcons this year? Who could have thought they would make the playoffs after what happened with Michael Vick and Bobby Petrino? 4-12 last year 10-5 with a game against the rams left this year.
- JRHodes88, on 12/27/2008, -0/+12Thank you Chad Pennington!
- inactive, on 12/27/2008, -0/+12Sucks when the covers from 1999 look old

- tomatoflight, on 12/27/2008, -0/+6cleaning out the front office, coaching staff, and mindset did wonders. no more wanny ball in south florida.
sparano for coach of the year! - TheDeuce53, on 12/27/2008, -0/+4no 2006 Saints?
3-13 in 2005, the year of Hurricane Katrina, after not playing a single game at home in the Superdome... 10-6, division champs, and an NFC championship appearance in 2006.
How do they not make the list??? That was not only a team, but a city making a great turnaround - AmericanGunner, on 12/27/2008, -0/+4They're in the air they're on the ground they're always in control, and when you say Miami, you're talkin' Superbowl.
- dynamojoe, on 12/27/2008, -0/+3Tony Sparano deserves serious consideration for Coach of the Year honors. He has (along with Pennington and Tuna) completely changed the team's attitude. They now go into games expecting to win and the team loves playing for him.
- iLemon, on 12/27/2008, -0/+3What about a best to worse?
- inactive, on 12/27/2008, -0/+3Dugg for the Dolphins! Sparano definitely deserves COY honors if -- make that when -- they beat the Jets tomorrow.
- unradical, on 12/27/2008, -0/+3I really hate that song. Specially when they played it in the stadium during our 1-15 season.
- Patzer111, on 12/27/2008, -1/+3What about "Crazy Legs" Johnson running for 62 touchdowns in the 1902 season for the Chicago Bearcats after having polio in the 1901 season?
- inactive, on 12/27/2008, -1/+3Not as good as the Dolphins.
- swik, on 12/27/2008, -0/+2Not as good as the Dolphins MAYBE, but certainly better than some of those teams listed in the article.
- Bustin, on 12/27/2008, -0/+2Feels good to be a fan and live through the Cinderella story when no one expected them to win 6 games this year
- AmericanGunner, on 12/27/2008, -0/+2They're #14
- inactive, on 12/27/2008, -0/+2At the very most the Falcons will win 7 more games this season than last season (not counting potential playoff wins). Every team listed won at least 8 more games over the previous season, so based on that cutoff the Falcons don't deserve to be on the list. Still a good turnaround on their part, though.
- Khanvalescent, on 12/27/2008, -0/+2NFC South features a strange trend of the team in last place finishing in first place the next year. I believe this has happened for the previous 3 or 4 consecutive years.
- unradical, on 12/27/2008, -0/+2The Falcons have done an amazing job, but unfortunately for them, they're overshadowed by the 1-15 Dolphins going 10-5 and having a chance to win their division tomorrow.
- TheTaoOfBill, on 12/28/2008, -0/+1Who knows... A perfect losing season speaks volumes. I have a feeling there are going to be serious changes to the lions this time around. Hopefully some good ones.
- myklee, on 12/29/2008, -0/+1Much love for Chad Pennington, but thank you Tony Sparano and the Big Tuna!
- bnut, on 12/27/2008, -0/+1Small market teams get no respect.
- obliviousfool, on 12/27/2008, -0/+1Why not! They're only on year seven of a five-year rebuilding plan.
- inactive, on 12/27/2008, -0/+1We would, but your mom always has him in a lip-lock. Tell her to stop being so greedy.
- TheDeuce53, on 12/27/2008, -0/+1NFC South has had a worst to first division champion each year of its existence (which dates back to 2001 or 2002 when the Texans came into the league and the divisions were reorganized)
- vsujohn2, on 12/27/2008, -0/+1Right but the dolphins brought in Bill Parcels and had some pieces in place to do well. Atlanta was a long shot with a rookie head coach, rookie QB, LTs backup from SD, very very young team.
- enochthewalker, on 12/27/2008, -0/+1Your mom jokes, really???
- reaper527, on 12/29/2008, -0/+1because these are teams that made a 8 game or more swing, and 7 wins is less than 8 wins
- ceralon, on 12/27/2008, -6/+6Being a Florida Native, and going through the ups and downs of the Fins.. never jumping off the bandwagon and losing faith and still going to home games even when they only won 1 game..
I must say, I am proud of the Dolphins and its about time we are no longer the laughing stock of the NFL like the lions.
And I have to thank the Jets who I hate more than anything in this world, with out your trash, this season wouldn't be possible.
One mans trash is another mans treasure..
It will be bitter sweet to be beaten by your former QB and denied entry into the post season, even if we lose the first game in the post season I am proud of what has been set and accomplished.
J E T S SUCK SUCK SUCK!!
And thank god the Gaytriots cheating asses wont be in the post season if Miami wins
BRADY IS THE MOST OVER RATED POS IN THE LEAGUE
IT SHOULDA BEEN THE RAIDERS IN THAT FIRST SUPERBOWL IN 2001
Happy New Year - utvolmiles, on 12/27/2008, -0/+0now all we need is for the lions to do something next year
- lonehunter01, on 12/27/2008, -0/+0Dugg up because the Falcons and NFC South get no love.
- inactive, on 12/27/2008, -1/+1Detroit winning a game.
- motivatedguy, on 12/27/2008, -2/+2Where the hell are the 2006 Saints? 3-13 in 2005 to 10-6 and a trip to the NFC Championship Game
- jh4rms, on 12/27/2008, -1/+1Chiefs will be on that list next year!
- enochthewalker, on 12/27/2008, -2/+1You guys should seriously consider blowing Parcells whenever you see him, as away of saying thanks.
