- ithejosh, on 12/13/2008, -0/+4Vince Young, Reggie Bush ought to have been closer.
- TheManikin, on 12/13/2008, -4/+7Do you watch college football? Eric Crouch was an AMAZING athlete who excelled in college. He was an option type quarterback, something that doesn't translate in the NFL, but his lack of sucess in the NFL doesn't mean we should detract from his excellent college career.

Name one. - inactive, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2Well, he was the offensive coordinator when OU played for the national title in '04 and '05, was the quarterbacks coach for Josh Heupel the year they won the national championship as well as recruited Sam Bradford to OU. I think he's a pretty good coach, just not doing so well at SDSU...
- AhrenBa, on 12/13/2008, -1/+3Dennis Dixon should would have won hands down last year if he didn't get hurt at the very end of the season. Boy that was sad to see. He had it wrapped up.
- TheManikin, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1Roy Williams had an excellent college career but it's very hard for defensive players to win. And don't knock Grossman just because of his (lack of) NFL career.
- drenader, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1The slide show is in the wrong order, how anticlimactic.
- inactive, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1He won it over Rex Grossman who we all know stinks. Roy Williams, the safety, was the best college football player that year and should have won it...and yes I'm biased, but it's true. If not him then Julius Peppers, but they refused to give it to a defensive player.
- TheManikin, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1Worse picks than Crouch
92 Gino Torretta
67 Gary Beban
57 John David Crow
Worst of all-time -- 56 Paul Hornung - Kiwibomb, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1M Vick (with Warrik Dunn) is the only option style QB that i have seen work in the NFL. I would LOVE for you to name one team in the NFL that runs the option.
- VirgilTrux, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1I hate slide shows!
- air360, on 01/20/2009, -0/+1football...i love this season :) heck yes steelers!
http://todaysceleb.blogspot.com/ - inactive, on 12/13/2008, -1/+1At first, I misread the headline as "12 Closest Henshin Finishers". I think I actually did a spit take before looking at the headline again and realizing what it really said, much to my disappointment.
- bigbillybee, on 02/09/2009, -0/+0Some really cool sites. After you are done reading the article check them out as well

Thanks - futrsenator, on 12/13/2008, -2/+1Chuck Long was a stud. Too bad he can't coach as well as he quarterbacked.
- pennvneff, on 12/13/2008, -3/+1Yeah I do and he was easily the worst Heisman winner ever.
- DESTROYER2118, on 12/13/2008, -4/+1May interest you to know that the first college team to use the option was Penn State, and they stole it from the NFL...almost every quarterback in the NFL runs the option, so an option QB would translate very well. He was just horrible.
/insert Superman-Tebow comment here - pennvneff, on 12/13/2008, -6/+3Eric Crouch easily the worst Heisman winner ever.
