- ScottyF311, on 10/08/2008, -0/+28What they SHOULD do is change Chad Ocho Cinco's number, just to ***** with him.
- username7410, on 10/08/2008, -1/+23Bengals can't trade Chad Ocho Cinco, a player with the last name Ocho Cinco MUST be on the most dysfunctional team in the league.
- MercurySoup, on 10/09/2008, -0/+14The Lions suck.
- jakkyl, on 10/09/2008, -0/+12Too bad the Raider can't trade Al Davis......
- MagMan68Classic, on 10/09/2008, -0/+12I'm a Lions fan
Dugg for 4/10 being Lions and 1 page
#1 should have been the whole Lions organization, but thats unrealistic - Cerealkillr, on 10/09/2008, -0/+10The only reason the lions are still around, is to lose their Thanksgiving day game.
- redlantern64, on 10/09/2008, -0/+9That'd be the Lions. As a Cincy fan, I thank the Gods for Detroit every day.
- zlopez, on 10/09/2008, -0/+8As a Chiefs fan, I would hate to see Tony go...but if it meant him having a really good shot at having a Super Bowl ring, then I would be okay with the trade.
Truely a stand up guy and great for any team looking for another threat on offense. - gullydwarf, on 10/09/2008, -0/+7The Chiefs would never trade Tony Gonzalez
- sfcaptainrob, on 10/09/2008, -1/+8As a life long Lions fan, I approve this message.
- inactive, on 10/09/2008, -0/+7McNabb sucks?
One of my friends said this today as well.
what the hell? McNabb is very good considering his best receiver is a rookie - Nikx, on 10/08/2008, -1/+7I love how everyone (myself included) stills calls Chad "Ocho Cinco", Chad Johnson. That's how he'll always be known. The name change was just another one of his attention whoring ploys.
Why does it always have to be the wide outs who are drama queens... - whatthefu, on 10/08/2008, -0/+6He didn't whine about it. He said he could do better.
- Fontzepontze, on 10/09/2008, -0/+5I live in Detroit and I dugg this up.
- inactive, on 10/09/2008, -0/+5it's hard to play on a team that sucks so bad... he's a great player , Imagine if he played on cowboys or patriots he'd be open all the time..............
- Moosington, on 10/09/2008, -0/+4For the most part, the teams in the Best Potential Fit are not well thought out.
- derble, on 10/09/2008, -1/+5Anybody want Vince Young? We don't need him.
- juh812, on 10/09/2008, -0/+4Bengals should trade Chad Johnson to any team that has the number 85 retired. So then he realizes what idiot move changing his name was.
- nonstop87, on 10/09/2008, -0/+4The Bengals should get rid of Chad Johnson and make Houshmandzadeh their number 1.
- theshizzler, on 10/09/2008, -0/+3Stop, you're hurting his feelings...
- zacbro, on 10/09/2008, -0/+3Wow. Detroit got owned. I'm surprised there's no Rams on the list. It's scary to think that maybe we don't even have anyone wroth trading... :(
- bullsfan03, on 10/09/2008, -0/+3Chad Johnson and Roy Williams... who would actually WANT their attitudes on their team?
- TheHeat, on 10/09/2008, -0/+3There are few players who shouldn't be traded from the Detroit Lions - people who have heart AND skill, not one or the other - people like Mike Furrey - the guy doesn't drop passes, doesn't complain about his role, and always gives his all - everyone else on the lions is either full of heart and a ***** up, or talented but don't want to try.
- smacksaw, on 10/09/2008, -0/+31. Larry Johnson isn't going to any of those AFC teams. He's pointless with the Saints. They need a powerful RB who can beat up the opposing team.
3. Houshmandzadeh needs to be traded for a young guy with upside. I'd look at Eddie Royal with Denver or Lance Moore with the Saints. A team that can win ought to take a flyer on him. I think the Chargers are too stupid to get rid of Vincent Jackson, but if I were Smith I'd offer Jackson for TJ.
8. Tony Gonzalez should go to a contender. The Chiefs owe him that much. I think he'd fill in nicely in Indy or even Pittsburgh. If I were the Colts, I would see if I could trade Gonzalez for Gonzalez, and maybe somehow get Dwayne Bowe out of the deal.
9. Chad Ocho Cinco could also be an interesting fit somewhere, notably Carolina. I think the Bengals would do a deal for DJ Hackett. It's a deal that helps both teams, plus I think Chad would play with Steve Smith. Otherwise, I think the Bengals would be really happy with Patrick Crayton if the Cowboys would do it. I think Chad's "injury" would get better in those situations. - FeartheKnighted, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2Kevin Smith NEEDS to be traded from that horrid excuse for a team known as Detroit. Imagine what he could do if he actually had an O-line to block for him.
- leif77, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2The Raiders?
- Aaryk, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2LJ will never be traded, you can be certain of that. The Chiefs will never be anything but hapless, and by the time they're good again, LJ will be burnt out and Kolby Smith will be on top of the depth chart. OR they draft Beanie Wells this year, because you know they have a top 5 pick.
- MoralThreat, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2Maybe Death will pick him up as a free agent?
- inactive, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2oh if LJ was traded to the Saints....
- smacksaw, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2The city itself might take him before he ever has a chance.
- romeyinfc, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2The Bengals & Lions have nothing on Oakland... Want to talk dysfunctional?
- hawksfan03, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2As a diehard eagles fan, I would have guessed you'd seen a game this year, apparently not. McNabb hasn't lost a game for the Eagles this year, no Brian Westbrook has lost them games.
- inactive, on 10/10/2008, -0/+2I don't know why you're getting dugg down. Mid-season trade rumormongering is for MLB and the NBA, not NFL.
- jakkyl, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2LOL!
- inactive, on 10/09/2008, -1/+3I'm a diehard cowboys fan and can admit McNabb is one of the best QB's in football for the last 5 years. The only superstar he's had besides T.O for one year is Brian Westbrook, one of the most under - rated RB's of all time.... because he is such a bad ass in the slot WR role...
cle2105 i doubt you really watch football much but please try again........... lol...... - inactive, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2Saints need defense that won't give up 30 -40 points a game...
Then brees, bush , colston, shockley, meachum , mcallister would be the kings of the nfl............ - RJLaframboise, on 10/09/2008, -1/+3Ocho Cinco definitely needs to be traded. He has too much talent to be wasting away on that poor excuse for a team.
- smacksaw, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2I disagree. He has no run game and no line. He's got a strong arm, he's smart and he's a great leader.
- redlantern64, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2Fear not. Mike Brown and his inability to give control of his daddy's team over to someone who actually knows football will ensure that the Bengals will be back at the bottom where they belong soon enough, taking some very promising careers with them. For now, let bask in the glory of being third worst. It's all I'm going to have for a very long time.
- Kiwibomb, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2i would love to see Tony Gonzalez come to Green Bay. Rogers could really use a good TE. Donald Lee just drops WAY to many balls
- nick2, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2Or retired, like the Rams
- pumpelly, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2The Lions QB Jon Kitna didn't make the list because no one wants a third string QB - which Kitna is on his best day - If only Bobby Layne was still alive - the best QB the Lions ever had and the last one to give the Lions a championship (their last) in 1957 - he'd STILL be better than Kitna at 82 years old.
- smacksaw, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1But are the Packers ready to win this year? They're becoming a walking MASH unit. They might want to raid the Lions' defense while they're at it.
- inactive, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1you are right, vikings have a great defensive, and ONE OF THE BEST offensive lines in the NFL , a great runningback......
they should be able to do great things... ( maybe find a qb in the mean time? )
if brett farve went to the vikings they would know how to use him... unlike the jets... lol... - appleman108, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1I feel sorry for you, the lions have never been good
- Rendonsmug, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1But the cowboys already HAVE a roy williams... Ouch.
- hawksfan03, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1I hope Brad Childress reads this article and realizes the Vikings do need a good receiver and/or a TE that can catch
- strafefire, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1Detroit will take him...then he might actually really kill himself after a few games...
- partrow, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1Trade 'em like the chattel that they are.
- RedStateRetard, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1no, we need anyone to rush the QB.
We made Matt Schaub look like Tom Brady in week 3. If you have a fantasy team. Play the QB and wide receiver that plays against the jags.
We traded our whole draft for two "speed rushers" who let journeymen tackles go "olé" and let them overun the play by 8 yards. -
