- RobaAssi, on 11/05/2009, -0/+14That is so fricking awesome. Talk about cultural fantasticism. Some of these items actually sound REALLY GOOD.
Our local special is the McArabia: http://www.mcdonaldsarabia.com/english/images2/nut ...
Grilled spiced beef (kafta) served with garlic mayo and wrapped in an Arabic style pita bread.
Not that good. Some of these menu items sound much better. - angrytortilla, on 11/05/2009, -0/+13A Royale with Cheese! Oh, wait a sec...
- askantik, on 11/05/2009, -3/+16Ok, how is the McFalafel not on here? But more importnatly, how is any of this really any "weirder" than calling McDonald's "food" any way?
- monkeyrun, on 11/05/2009, -1/+14Really isn't all that weird, it's just different.
- davidg11, on 11/05/2009, -1/+13Mmmm...Tuna pie.
- lead2thehead, on 11/05/2009, -0/+12The Samurai Pork Burger sounds pretty good.
- Liam000, on 11/05/2009, -0/+10wow McDonald's is committed not only to sell ***** american food to americans but to branch out and find local ***** to sell to appeal to local taste buds.
- amcnair, on 11/05/2009, -0/+10In Maine they used to have a lobster salad sandwich called the McLobster.
- anamericanidiot, on 11/05/2009, -1/+11Awesome. I want that sugary Spaghetti. Mmmm sugar.
- Corona85, on 11/05/2009, -0/+8I would eat a lot of those.
- mattmacneil, on 11/05/2009, -0/+7Nothing sounds more appealing than the 'Fish McDippers'...
- DiggaFugYoCouch, on 11/05/2009, -2/+9I think this blogger forgot to take his ADD pills.
"SPEAKING OF HALLOWEEN HERES A PUMPKIN, OH THATS FUNNY AND SPEAKING OF FUNNY HERES A CLOWN HAHA" - Kekeh, on 11/05/2009, -0/+7In Finland there's the McRye http://www.finlandinsider.com/images/rye-hamburger ...
Not that it's that creepy or anything but I think it's not sold anywhere else. The buns are replaced with rye bread, which is a pretty traditional type of bread here. - footbag01, on 11/05/2009, -0/+5I had to stop when I saw the Lobster Roll at McDonald's in Maine. It wasn't bad.
- ironnick, on 11/05/2009, -1/+6Dugg for Monty Python Spam video.
- XTomTomX, on 11/05/2009, -0/+5In Las Vegas,
They tested McChinese food and McPizza.
Also, the McDonald's in Germany sells Beer. - immatellyouwhat, on 11/05/2009, -0/+5MCDONALD'S *****! DO YOU EAT IT?!
- camilos007, on 11/05/2009, -0/+5Poutine!

- SBF214, on 11/05/2009, -0/+4some or a lot of the int'l items look tasty
- WoollyMittens, on 11/05/2009, -0/+4Ha! They've got nothing on the feared: Mc Kroket of the Netherlands.
It's deep-fried ragout with mustard. Yummy. I don't think there's an equivalent anywhere in the world.
http://www.mcdonalds.nl/wps/wcm/connect/mcd/mcdona ... - fattestfoot, on 11/05/2009, -0/+4And Spain.
- Netmindstorm, on 11/05/2009, -0/+4Saw it in Canada
http://mindstorm.smugmug.com/Vacation/Summer-2006/ ... - sirbeta, on 11/05/2009, -0/+4Love the imitator images.
- stunner21, on 11/05/2009, -0/+4When I was travelling around the world we made it a habit of going to a McDonalds once in every country to see the local variations, ended up in Japan getting addicted to the Prawn burger & my mate couldn't stop eating what was the real life equivalent of the Ribwich from the Simpsons. Plus you can even smoke and have a beer at the same time in there by far best. McDonalds. ever.
- Gndoab, on 11/05/2009, -1/+4"From the Samurai Pork Burger, to McSpaghetti, to Thai Spicy Fish McDippers, McDonald's has some really strange food products you'll never see in the United States"
Those actually all sound pretty good... - swagv, on 11/05/2009, -0/+3I though McDonald's, by definition, was weird "food" -- or a facsimile thereof.
- WoollyMittens, on 11/05/2009, -0/+3I just did. :P
- yacks, on 11/05/2009, -0/+3I wonder if they have ever tried spaghetti made by filipinos... it's actually good with sugar added... :) but i'm surprised they didnt mention the fried chicken... even though they show parts of it on the menu...
- skcolb, on 11/05/2009, -0/+3Hehe let's laugh at cultures that aren't ours!
- RonADiSH, on 11/05/2009, -0/+2we had shwarma in Israel, pretty good too
http://tamidir.co.il/default.asp?p=YoramEverHadani ... - zip000, on 11/05/2009, -0/+2I actually used to add a little sugar to my spaghetti sauce - a little sugar and a little cinnamon - but once I got carried away and put too much of both in, and all of my roommates at the time just mocked me for about a year over it.
It was weird, but it wasn't really bad. - smurfjoe, on 11/05/2009, -0/+2I've had the spaghetti in a Filipino McDonalds. It's pretty good, although I'm used to filipino style spaghetti (sweet and spicy with little chopped up hot dog pieces).
They probably didn't mention the fried chicken because there's some McDonalds in America that have it. The McDonalds on the Garden State Parkway rest area in Bloomfield has fried chicken and also had McPizza. - UnFriendlyFire, on 11/05/2009, -2/+4I DON'T LIKE SPAM!
- Prodigy1990, on 11/05/2009, -0/+2http://www.mcdonalds.nl/wps/wcm/connect/mcd/mcdona ...
chicken bacon and fried onions.... why don't we have this? - UnFriendlyFire, on 11/05/2009, -0/+2They made me think of the Popplers from Fishy Joe's
- amcnair, on 11/05/2009, -0/+2Nice work. That's the one.
- diemunkiesdie, on 11/05/2009, -0/+2Pizza Huh! I totally want to try one of these knock off places!
- krymson, on 11/05/2009, -0/+2They have the Fan-tastic all across the Chinese speaking world, for two reasons:
-Chinese people like rice, no joke. Bread as you know it is actually a relatively new concept to the Chinese world.
-Fan means rice in Chinese, so the name becomes essentially "Rice-tastic" . A bilingual pun, if you will.
I was curious about it so i bought one and it SUCKED. Worst burger I've ever eaten. - pygmy, on 11/05/2009, -0/+2FROM MACCAS INDIA:

- feezus, on 11/05/2009, -0/+2"All McDonalds commercials end the same way: 'prices and participation may vary.' I want to open my own McDonalds and not participate in anything. I want to be a stubborn McDonalds owner. 'Cheeseburgers? Nope. We got spaghetti!...and blankets! But we are not affiliated with that clown. He attracts too many children.' "
- saikyan, on 11/05/2009, -0/+2I'd chow down on anything in that entire list. I digg multicultural food. And junk food. And multicultural junk food.
Too bad they don't sell that Tasty Tentacle Snack. That looks awesome. - inactive, on 11/05/2009, -0/+2Brazil has the McCheddar. Basically a burger with Velveeta style cheeze and sauteed onions. Tasty!
- mikebritton, on 11/06/2009, -0/+2That looks great and I would try it!
- drex8, on 11/05/2009, -0/+1More for you over here http://trifter.com/practical-travel/budget-travel/ ...
- pinchduck, on 11/05/2009, -0/+1Good beer or McBeer?
- maddskillz, on 11/05/2009, -0/+1Two things I have tried that weren't on the list:
McKrokets in Holland and the McTeri in Hawaii.
Both were regretable - inactive, on 11/05/2009, -0/+12
