U.S. sees record world food crops easing crisis
reuters.com — Good weather will help the world's farmers reap record wheat and rice crops this year, the U.S. government said on Friday, which should allay fears of shortages and help bring prices down from current high levels.

- NatashaCall, on 05/11/2008, -0/+2The funny thing with this article is the timing. I think that it is placed because of the shortages to lessen the level of hording. From all reports prior to this one, wheat and rice were low everywhere, and weather was part of the problem, as well as farmers raising corn instead of wheat. Should be interesting to see when the word gets out to the other extreme again.
