- Cancerkitty, on 02/20/2009, -1/+53I've eaten here a few times, and the portion sizes for everything are equally insane. It's fantastic.
- AmyVernon, on 02/20/2009, -0/+16I do now! :-)
Wow, this sounds awesome. - ironeus, on 02/20/2009, -2/+18Does Amy know about this?
- shutaro, on 02/20/2009, -3/+15OM NOM NOM NOM!

- pitchblack16, on 02/20/2009, -0/+11Oh she will, I think she's got RSS Feeds on everything bacon.
- kismetropolis, on 02/20/2009, -2/+10This should probably also go on thisiswhyyourefat.com
And I'd give this burger a go. Yum. Bacon. - asskicker32, on 02/21/2009, -1/+8Bacon is the new PBR and trucker hat.
- quentinp, on 02/20/2009, -1/+8bowels clenching...must...finish...sandwich
- RunDiggMC, on 02/21/2009, -1/+7The most beautiful prose I've read all week: "nearly 1 pound of artery-clogging, salt-cured meat."
- rebirf, on 02/21/2009, -0/+6What are the prices like?
- coldkill3r, on 02/21/2009, -0/+5http://bacolicio.us/http://www.mlive.com/business/ ...
- ace429k, on 02/21/2009, -0/+5well....Michigan is the *****. Us Michigan residents do agree.
- legoalert33, on 02/21/2009, -0/+5Its very good prices considering the portions.
- Trekhawk, on 02/21/2009, -1/+5And only 65 miles away!
- Pentagarn, on 02/21/2009, -0/+4I'm pretty sure I'd prefer a normal portion of delicious food to simply massive amounts of food at a restaurant.
Bacon is always delicious, though, so I guess it's sort of an exception. - RizzoFrank, on 02/21/2009, -2/+6Proof? People have been known to make up stories on digg comments.
- theghoul, on 02/21/2009, -0/+4Tony's is right outside of Frankenmuth. That place is insane. A pound of bacon, 1/2 dozen eggs and a trip to the cardiologist.
Go there if you're anorexic. You'll be cured. - inactive, on 02/21/2009, -0/+4Why does Digg attract people who love to bash America so much?
- erasermcfleafly, on 02/21/2009, -0/+3NOO!!! BAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
- m3arvk, on 02/21/2009, -0/+3But you could rub the leftover portions all over your body and roll around in it like...
- gritta, on 02/21/2009, -2/+5Don't blame the shop, they only want to make an honest living; It's people who can't take things in moderation that cause all this fuss. If you're gonna eat something like that, it's your breakfast lunch and dinner, not just an afternoon snack, mkay?.
- ka0tic, on 02/22/2009, -0/+3Be a man. Eat meat.
- GoKings, on 02/21/2009, -1/+4That's one of those "I ate this and now I won't be eating for another few days" type meals.
- MadEnvoy, on 02/21/2009, -0/+3bowels releasing...must...finish...sandwich
- MarkusX, on 02/20/2009, -1/+4Gotta be the bacon diet.
- AndrewDB, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2Yum.
- TheNyquilKid, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2That place is legen-wait for it-dary. When you order a side of bacon with breakfast you don't get 3 or 4 pieces you get more than you can fit in a take out container.
- inactive, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2Big-ass special.
- MisterFurious, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2Heck, the cardiologist would have to be located next door. It's the only way you'd make it there before the sweet kiss of bacon-infused death takes you.
- HappyScrappy, on 02/21/2009, -1/+3Diners, Drive-ins and Dives also covered Krazy Jim's Blimpyburger in Ann Arbor on their show. Yum.
- acrodev, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2Are they sponsored by a cardiologist or a funeral home?
- Ineedanap, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2This place has been around forever. This is nothing new. They have always been known for their ridiculous portion size. Tony's is one of those places... "you know you are from MI, if you have eaten at Tony's.".
- Gareth321, on 02/22/2009, -0/+2Well said =)
"Off" is a cultural saying. It implies that sometimes one should just be in the moment, and stop fighting for a cause. The flipside is if one is always "on", they never stop fighting for said cause, even when the dicussion has changed or people don't wish to continue the discussion. - inactive, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2hmmm....its a good night to take a nice drive down the interstate *grabs car keys*
- m3arvk, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2Bacon?
- m3arvk, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2Religion? Oh right, that takes people who are already idiots and makes them kill people with bombs...
- freeridstylee, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2I went there once, needless to say I spent a good half hour at one of the rest stops just south of the place. No matter how good a pound of bacon looks on paper, it's a logistical nightmare.
- inactive, on 02/21/2009, -2/+4lol. I'm a sinner. Actually the default view of any reasonably minded muslim is that they're naturally inclined to sin without guidance. Those who have been exposed to guidance are held to much higher standards by God than those who haven't. Those who haven't should not be judged harshly by those who have, and, though I do that a lot, I'm not particularly proud :P . Finally, Islam defines the ideal muslim not by how many good deeds they have done, per se, but by how fast they seek repetence after sinning. Many scholars say that non-deliberate sinning is a way to keep the believer humbled and keep them going back to God for forgiveness. Sinning gets way too much bad wrap. That's not to say that we should deliberately sin, as that is not the point, but the point is that God is all forgiving and one should always and constantly seek His forgiveness.
What do you mean ever "off"? - inactive, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2I approve. it's like a murder bomb that only kills idiots. Oh if we could just think up a few more things like that...
- dafragsta, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2That's just cruel. I can't eat that bacon.
- Gareth321, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2Oh come on saqer, you're not going to win many fans of Islam by telling them they're all evil sinners are you? Are you ever "off"?
- tjallen, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2I live in MI and my best friend has always told me about this place, but I never believed it truly existed.
- inactive, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2That would be far worse for you...
- JFitzpatrick, on 02/21/2009, -1/+3Ultra-liberalism is mob-mentality? Man I've never voted for a democrat and for most of my adult life I'd have been fighting mad about being called a liberal... but that's just ***** stupid.
I've met completely idiot followers on both sides of the political spectrum, but at least the ones on the ultra left side of things weren't violent Jesus freaks.
As for the rest of your list... I think you're being a wee bit over analytical. Just a bit. - Newsdude, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2gotta get me some kibbles and bits
- m3arvk, on 02/21/2009, -0/+1I do. Do they come with some kind of guarantee?
- johnkemp, on 02/21/2009, -0/+1I love me some bacon.
- mandle, on 02/21/2009, -0/+1you mean "Tony's restaurant in Mich serves 20 bacon strips with burger"
- m3arvk, on 02/21/2009, -1/+2Allow me to retort:
1. Love of bacon: normal.
2. Interest about our universe: normal.
3. Objectification of women: fairly normal.
4. Pop culture: (almost by definition) normal.
5. NORML: fairly normal. -
