- shutupdangit, on 05/25/2009, -0/+14The Onion's AV Club did a review on the cheeseburger in a can, for those who dare to see it in real life:
http://www.avclub.com/articles/taste-test-cheesebu ... - rti9, on 05/25/2009, -1/+14Easy almost never means healthy.
I seriously doubt that a cheeseburger which comes out from a can will look like the one displayed. - C0ntraRadical, on 05/25/2009, -0/+9Good call:

(Not for the faint of heart.) - OasisR123, on 05/25/2009, -0/+9I remember this article on digg a while ago (2 years maybe), about the cheeseburger in a can thingy, someone bought it, pictured it and ate it.
It looked disgusting, and the guy said it was awful.... - OMGNinjas, on 05/25/2009, -2/+11A vending machine that cooks and dispenses pizza??
OH.EM.GEE. - Hellahulla, on 05/25/2009, -0/+5Don't bother, they're nasty.
- jordanv1, on 05/25/2009, -1/+6You know, someone could make a fortune distributing cheeseburger-in-a-can and pizza vending machines to college campuses.
- kd420, on 05/25/2009, -1/+5I'm still waiting for this:
http://www.theonion.com/content/video/new_wearable ... - Halsfield, on 05/25/2009, -0/+4This looks more like "Different kinds of awful food in a package or vending machine". I can't think of anything on that list that I would really want to eat , even if nothing else was available. I know some of the japanese vending machines make decent "instant ramen" but I've also heard some of them are really terrible and ramen-in-a-can sounds like one of the less appetizing .
I really don't think the burger in a can is in any way a "trend" anywhere, more of an oddity that people buy just to find out how truly disgusting it is.
The pizza vending machine sounds like a good idea, but from reviews it sounds more like it dispenses really awful pizza. If someone could make a machine that was simply filled with lots of different kinds of pizza (stocked from the local delivery place daily or multiple times daily) and the machine just kept the pizzas hot without burning then that could be a hit. Anything that makes a "pizza" in 2min isnt going to taste great and I'm surprised Italy of all places would permit this. - diggnidy, on 05/25/2009, -0/+4pizza vending machine?
best.thing.ever! - Halsfield, on 05/25/2009, -0/+4Until ramen bars become widespread in America, and millions of people stop eating the instant ramen that is how it is going to stay.
- Syric, on 05/25/2009, -0/+4I hate the fact that when people think of ramen, they think of some instant ***** in a package.
- Velnich, on 05/25/2009, -0/+3That looks like a lot of packaging from Mother's.
- Pandalume, on 05/25/2009, -0/+3Pizza in a Cup?
- anxdiety, on 05/25/2009, -0/+3Damn the article had to be about food. I was hoping it was a new trend in cunnilingus.
- mikemehak, on 05/25/2009, -0/+3Actually easy eating is quite healthy. People just not to eat healthy and use ease of preparation as an excuse.
A tuna sandwhich, a simple salad, etc.. can be made in under one minute. A roasted chicken, pasta, salad, etc... can all be bought straight from the grocery store in less time than it takes to line up in the drive thru, wait for them to screw up your order and unpack your mcdonalds. - Snottlebocket, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2Mother's is giving me Futurama flashbacks. Awesome.
- shinkou, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2I thought the onigiri's (Japanese rice balls) were easy, and healthy, enough tho'. btw, sushi used to be a kind of fast food during the Edo era... well, if my colleague was not lying to me. (read this if you can read japanese http://pub.ne.jp/adoka/?entry_id=1511539)
- burningrobot, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2Pizza vending machine? Stoner's wet dream.
- IllicitWeaponry, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2Cheeseburger in a can!?!! nasty....
- diggeratwork, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2the second website, www.ilovemother.net has already has its bandwidth limit reached. talk about the digg effect.
- namochan, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2Burger is slightly less tasty looking in reality:
http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech-gadget/vid ... - Vital8, on 05/25/2009, -3/+5yeah, i think the cheeseburger doesnt look quite as good as in the picture, but maybe thats just me
http://www.avclub.com/articles/taste-test-cheesebu ... - robblink, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2I don't think any of those foods would be "easy" going down.
- wpc33, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2Marie: You live here? Oh, it's nice. Did you decorate it?
Navin R. Johnson: Yeah, I got all this stuff from the old Cup 'o Pizza place before they tore it down.
Marie: Good pizza.
[the two are eating pizza in a cup]
Navin R. Johnson: Oh, this is the best pizza in a cup ever. This guy is unbelievable. He ran the old Cup 'o Pizza guy out of business. People come from all over to eat this. - StoneGreg, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1A sure sign of the continued decline of Western (or Westernized) civilization.
- zagatbuzz, on 05/25/2009, -1/+2Wow, cheesburger in a can?! Gross!!
- KatherineVolk, on 05/25/2009, -2/+3The easiest way is to ring a little ring and servants will bring all you wish.
- monkeyroyal, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1why is sliced carrot an ingredient for pesto fusilli?
- phosphite, on 05/25/2009, -2/+2Can haz cheeseburger? I can haz canned cheeseburger?
Anyway here's a review of Cheeseburger in a Can. Apparently it ain't not bad!
http://www.avclub.com/articles/taste-test-cheesebu ... - awesometown, on 08/06/2009, -0/+0I don't want to think about what the beef patty would look like straight out of the can.
On the other hand, I have a feeling I would have been pretty into those french fries if they'd been around when I was a kid. - nigelmansell, on 05/25/2009, -4/+4i'm just going to get an illegal guatemalan lady and spoon feed me lental soup. i don't even have to get off my chair.
