- irishjays, on 08/13/2008, -0/+56You know what I haven't had in a while? Big League Chew.
- havocjaw, on 08/13/2008, -0/+32I certainly remember Dweebs
- polyroly, on 08/13/2008, -1/+27I think I would physically kill for one single piece of Gatorade gum or raspberry Bonkers.
- ironeus, on 08/13/2008, -0/+23Chocolate fruit roll-ups? I was deprived.
- inactive, on 08/13/2008, -1/+21Bonkers were the bomb. I loved them. I was never a fan of many of these others though so I guess I am not missing much but I would definitely love for them to bring back bonkers.
- whoreable, on 08/13/2008, -0/+16Hell yeah bonkers were the *****.
- inactive, on 08/13/2008, -2/+17Ah, I was born in 87, so I haven't had a chance to try them. Oh well =(
- DadsSpace, on 08/13/2008, -0/+14Awww I miss Dweebs! Me and my sister liked different flavours so eating a packet was always a collaborative effort! ;)
- prefixmag, on 08/13/2008, -0/+13I used to chew GatorGum when I played little league and sadly I thought it made me play better. That was good tasting gum though.
- solesoul, on 08/13/2008, -0/+11I didnt even realize Bar None was gone
- AmyVernon, on 08/13/2008, -1/+11Alpine White was actually kinda gross. But Bar None was great, and so were Bonkers. Looooooved them. But how, exactly, did I miss the chocolate "fruit" roll-ups? (How exactly can chocolate qualify as a fruit? Just askin'.)
- eescabar, on 08/13/2008, -0/+9wow...WOW...ROFL... the C and the G are not even next to each other... wow
- AmyVernon, on 08/13/2008, -0/+9Die, child, die.
- strictnein, on 08/13/2008, -0/+9PBMax - totally forgot about this but man do I want them.
- aksn1p3r, on 08/13/2008, -0/+9Oh yes I want GatorGum and Willy Wonka DinoSOUR eggs! Had Willy Wonka Bar from the airport shop last week.
- GiggleStick, on 08/13/2008, -1/+9Is that German for "The Child the"?
- scooterbaga, on 08/13/2008, -0/+8I miss Tidal Wave gum.
- iamsocruel, on 08/13/2008, -0/+7they still sell golden nuggets and bonkers here in Canada, the others are available from a store here called the candy train (as well as a few others). they specialize in all the cool candy of yesteryear (plus international candy)like silver bullet gum, toffee, baseball card gum, hostess chips, crystal pepsi, cherry coke, etc.
- Frozo, on 08/13/2008, -1/+8Here are some other weird gums from the 80's:
Big League Chew - it was all about how much you could pack in your mouth
Bubble Burger Gum - came in a Big Mac container and had like 4 different colored levels of cum, shaped like a burger)
Waffle Gum (with packet of real maple syrup!) - mcmullet, on 08/13/2008, -0/+7Bar None was the best. Anyone remember Tootsie Pop Drops? Tootsie Pops without the stick.
- FrankRizzo69, on 08/13/2008, -0/+7Bonkers! Totally remember those commercials. Root beer gum was really the favorite of that list. This is a great Digg story, better than the typical political *****.
- ColonelJessup, on 08/13/2008, -0/+7PB Max........ WE MEAN PEANUT BUTTER!
Man, I remember those. Those were great, it was like the perfect candy bar. Perfect peanut butter to chocolate ratio.
Man, I so want one right now. - sircomix, on 08/13/2008, -0/+6WHoa... I forgot about these! Great article. I miss Dinosour eggs. And PB Max. And gatorade gum. Sigh.
- Gatesophile, on 08/13/2008, -0/+64 different colored levels of cum?!?!
- WriterSD, on 08/13/2008, -1/+7I loved the Alpine White chocolate bar. Yum yum yum.
- DeathMarcher, on 08/13/2008, -0/+5Anyone remember those miniature wax bottles filled with some kind of root beer/cola flavoring? I guess they're still around, but they sure were the rage when I was in 3rd grade.
- Liembo, on 08/13/2008, -0/+5Stuff I miss:
Tart 'n Tinies... Red Devils (wonka version of the atomic fireball, like a gobstopper)
Candy Cigarettes with the 'puff' powder (still around, hard to find)
Flicks (big chocolate chips in the tube) (saw these at Pier 1 the other day)
Rothchild's toffee - chocobomog, on 08/13/2008, -0/+5 I had completely forgotten about DinoSour Eggs and how much I loved them as a child. Now I am happy due to the nostalgia of my candy-eating memories yet depressed because I will never be able to experience them again. *Sigh*
- bravecoward, on 08/13/2008, -0/+5I do NOT want cum in my candy thank you
- mavranos, on 08/13/2008, -0/+5Chunky Bars too, haven't seen those in a while.
I could never chew GatorGum. It was so good I just ate it. - absurdist, on 08/13/2008, -0/+4Anyone remember the series of incredibly... uhm... Aryan commercials for Nestle's Alpine White?

(Not a RickRoll, I promise.) - inactive, on 08/13/2008, -0/+4Do they still make Fun Dip? I haven't seen it in ages.
- ziromix, on 08/13/2008, -0/+4this comment actually made me LOL
- dafragsta, on 08/13/2008, -0/+4What happened to Rinky Dinks? They were like Gobstoppers but smaller, and therefore easier to bite.
- inactive, on 08/13/2008, -0/+4My baseball coach bought a huge tub that had individual packets for our final home game. The day was epic just because of the gum.
It is amazing stuff. - inactive, on 08/13/2008, -0/+4Yummy stuff... oh the memories:-)
- drlha, on 08/13/2008, -0/+4They're still around now.
- binorgog, on 08/13/2008, -0/+3You missed the best decade of the century.
- diggenerate, on 08/13/2008, -0/+3surprised candy cigarettes aren't on the list.
- jserio, on 08/13/2008, -0/+3I know it's not RC, but pretty much every Costco now sells Coca-Cola in glass bottles imported from Mexico - made with real sugar. I picked up a case for a party a few weeks back and still have some. I drink diet Coke now but I couldn't help indulge in a couple bottles of the real thing.
- inactive, on 08/13/2008, -0/+3Its not a candy, but i miss RC cola in a glass bottle, when it had real sugar in it, and not corn syrup.
- ceuyan, on 08/13/2008, -0/+3you mean Fruit Stripes? yeah it still exists
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwAVeugcpJU - kinseyincanada, on 08/13/2008, -0/+3anyone remember those sour flying saucer candies? or the clear pepsi? that ***** was damn goodd.
- Spanktacular, on 08/13/2008, -0/+3You can still buy Gatorade Quench gum at retailers like Sports Authority. Isn't it the same thing?
- IpodCrazy, on 08/13/2008, -0/+3Do they still sell the zebra bubble gum?
- yournamehere, on 08/13/2008, -0/+3they sure do. I just had a pack the other day. If you have one near you, rite aid carries them.
- Sizzor, on 08/13/2008, -0/+2Chocolite
