- Surferess, on 10/14/2008, -2/+32I like the way the author likens eating vegetables and fruits to smoking pot. Clearly, some guys do have a problem with eating fruits and vegetables. It is good for us all to think of most plants, as being something we would want to ingest. The comparison works nicely.
- inactive, on 10/15/2008, -1/+29How does ABC NEWS know what I'm eating and not eating?
- inactive, on 10/15/2008, -4/+3211. Pussy
- inactive, on 10/15/2008, -4/+30"Yeah, well, you know what? Nobody cares about your stupid beet farm. Beets are the worst."
- squirble, on 10/15/2008, -2/+2610 items for 4 pages? Is that really necessary?
- Barackalypse, on 10/15/2008, -5/+26Buried for lack of the ultimate superfood: bacon.
- maiku00, on 10/15/2008, -0/+15cinnamon is surprising to me that it is that good for you.

- nirav72, on 10/15/2008, -0/+7Would that count as a salad? I assume you're tossing it.
Ok ok..I'll stop. - andybigs, on 10/15/2008, -0/+7ooh superfoods, im feeling SUPER now.
- Ford_Prefect2nd, on 10/15/2008, -0/+6Nice way to add cinnamon to your diet, try adding a bit to your coffee grounds, run the machine as normal, its wonderful.
- secrity, on 10/15/2008, -0/+6At least they weren't marketing any of the food that they had listed. They didn't mention any brand names, and most of this stuff is just produce.
- MrSparkle666, on 10/15/2008, -0/+5Wow, you see right through all the lies. Amazing!
- savocado, on 10/15/2008, -0/+5You could still have load of ads on one page.
- Lula87, on 10/15/2008, -2/+7Be glad it's not Fox News or they'd be telling us we need more to consume more Cheetos and brand name Colas.
- porkdanish, on 10/15/2008, -0/+4I'll assume that's not why they call you Mr Sparkle.
- Brododium, on 10/15/2008, -2/+6Ugh, I hate these presumptuous articles like "You've never seen this before" or "10 Wild and Whacky Creatures You've Never Heard of".
- AdamM58038, on 10/15/2008, -0/+4Yes, clearly that must be it....
- MrSparkle666, on 10/15/2008, -4/+8I know it's nasty, but i like to eat chicks ***** even more than the pussy, after a shower of course.
- sc0tty0, on 10/15/2008, -1/+5http://abcnews.go.com/print?id=5334734
- inactive, on 10/15/2008, -1/+4Purslane isnt delicious. It has no taste whatsoever.
- KyleGoetz, on 10/15/2008, -0/+3That link doesn't criticize goji at all. It criticizes some marketing for a sweet drink.
- zomgflamer, on 10/15/2008, -0/+3Beet? Radish?
- MattyDienhoff, on 10/15/2008, -0/+3It's called "The 10 Best Superfoods You *Aren't* Eating"
- atarijedi, on 10/15/2008, -0/+3FOUR PAGES, REALLY? FOUR? SCREW YOU ABC!
- fuzzybeard, on 10/15/2008, -0/+3So...does that mean HFCS is the equivalent of Kryptonite?
- k3rfuffl3, on 10/15/2008, -0/+3I ***** love Guava. Too bad it's so rare in the US at least where I live.
- Fac1, on 10/15/2008, -0/+3These presumptuous "MOST SUPERDUPEREST STUFF YOU'VE NEVER EVEN IMAGINED EXISTED" articles are getting annoying, and fast. It just reeks of ignorance and seems to convey that their target audience goes to McDonald's for nutritional food. They're promoting cabbage and then say you should put it on a burger?! What a waste.
I eat quite a few of those listed, swiss chard being my favourite. - porkdanish, on 10/15/2008, -1/+4And it certainly hasn't hurt your spelling.
- Psygnosis, on 10/15/2008, -0/+3I know! I'll take all of these, put them in a blender and make me a super smoothy!
- secrity, on 10/15/2008, -0/+3Sort of, but different. Kryptonite is dangerous for Superman to even be near, HFCS is dangerous for humans to eat.
- laceration, on 10/15/2008, -0/+2This is another alienated attitude towards food. Food has been been produced and evolved into Cuisines because they taste good and are good for you. Let culture and your own appetite be your guide. When foodstuffs are detached you end up eating for misguided reasons, like health for instance, and miss out out on the art and satisfaction that food should be. Guess what--it'll end up being less healthy and you the consumer will just be another part of the production process. The foods they mention are only containers for vitamins or nutrients and their how to eat suggestions are not how to eat! How did your Grandmother or Mother make some dish that was great or how do you make pizza or a burrito or what is French or Thai food about? This should be your approach not this stupid article.

- mahadiga, on 10/15/2008, -0/+2As per statistics, drinking Pomegranate juice every day will prevent Cancer.
- OfficialJoe, on 10/15/2008, -0/+2I blame Xenu. Or Ceiling Cat.
- fuzzy889, on 10/15/2008, -0/+2I like how they explain how to eat things.
- Bravedude, on 10/15/2008, -0/+2News Flash: Eating healthy foods makes you healthy.
- inactive, on 10/15/2008, -0/+2exactly what i was going to reply with!!!
- LegomanArt, on 10/15/2008, -0/+1Who's not eating them now?
- alittlemelty, on 10/15/2008, -0/+1You sound like Michael Pollan. I'm diggin' it.
Let's stop trying to reduce foods into their chemical makeup, and concentrate on eating things that we've known for ages to be good for us. Like Laceration says, cuisines have evolved throughout time and have been proven through practice to be effective. I consider myself to be a man of science, but I don't need a scientist to tell me that a frozen burrito is bad for me. Established food cultures -- like Mediterranean, French, Thai -- should be considered some of the oldest scientific trials on earth.
Articles like this only reinforce a belief that the typical American diet could be good for you if you just made a tiiiiiiiny change. You can't slap a piece of napa cabbage on a cheeseburger and expect to live a healthful life. - scain, on 10/15/2008, -0/+1Purslane grows all over place around here, including cracks in the sidewalk. I'd be hesitant to call it delicious though, it just tastes like a mild green.
- MAARRS, on 10/15/2008, -0/+1dull story when it ran during the summer. bury.......
