Sex Sells? Burger King's new 7-incher ad is embarrassing

garr.posterous.com — What the heck is BK thinking??? What heterosexual male would even consider eating one of these after seeing this ad? And it's a bloody shame, really, because it looks like it could be a pretty decent sandwich otherwise.

It's a large sandwich so she is astonished at the prospect of eating it. If you want to make it sexual that's up to you. I'm sure it would pass the child test. Show it to a young child and see if they giggle, look confused, or just want a sandwich.

    Take a look at the ad copy:

    "Fill your desire for something long...Yearn for more", but also the subtext of the language:

    Fill, Desire, Long, Juicy, Yearn, More, Mind-blowing.

    Sure, if you can't read, ads can take on a different meaning. That's the case with almost anything, but this imagery was purposely paired with the suggestive text for a reason.

    Yes, women give head. Yes, this sandwich could look like a dick. Any sub sandwich could. Yes, the ad is a woman about to give head to a sandwich.

    It's funny. look at her eyes. it's like it's the biggest thing she's ever seen. not to mention the motto of advertising: "Any exposure is good exposure"

    And from my point of view, if women like the sandwich, then they'll like me even more. I'd eat one just to thanking BK for this amazing revelation they have thankfully shown me.
