- Garofoli, on 11/24/2008, -3/+42Needs more bacon.
- CraigReed, on 11/24/2008, -1/+37These must have sold old based on curiosity, she didn't enjoy that chocolate bar and that photo says everything.
Though that wouldn't stop me from at least having a bite. - ScottMcIntyre, on 11/24/2008, -3/+33The two best foodstuffs on the planet- chocolate and bacon- how could it NOT sell out? ;-)
- sizzzzlerz, on 11/25/2008, -2/+22Chocolate up that bacon, boy!
But dad, my heart hurts!
Chocolate ittt! - jfdolier, on 11/24/2008, -3/+21But why the chocolate?
- IIECONII, on 11/24/2008, -3/+20Instant Bacon Explosion, or what we refer to in-the-biz as the IBE.
The IBE is the "critical mass" of bacon-eating, per se.
And now...The IBE, courtesy of PBF:

- inactive, on 11/25/2008, -4/+18Bacon is ***** delicious.
- sb66, on 11/25/2008, -3/+17Bacon and peanut butter sandwiches taste great
- austang, on 11/24/2008, -2/+15I bought 2 pallets
- shmajent, on 11/25/2008, -1/+13I've had the stuff. It's actually not bad. The chocolate itself is slightly richer than milk chocolate, with a slight bit of salty. The aftertaste is a bit smoked. It is most certainly not chocolate-covered bacon.
- LaurencePike, on 11/24/2008, -3/+15Finally, a chocolate bar that goes with my eggs in the morning!
- AmyVernon, on 11/24/2008, -2/+14And more chocolate.
- ncapone, on 11/25/2008, -1/+9Bacolate
- Hartley1942, on 11/25/2008, -1/+9Thats why they sold out.
- mrcoldcow, on 11/25/2008, -3/+10Chacon
- Ymeg, on 11/25/2008, -2/+9Blahblahblah relative terms blahblah im superior.
- Mpwns, on 11/25/2008, -0/+6my old job sold these for years not a big seller compared to the wasbi bar.
- pinkukeftw, on 11/25/2008, -3/+9Simpsons did it
- fuckupedoslut, on 11/25/2008, -0/+6It needs a bacon hat and bacon mustache and bacon hair and a bacon house to live in.
- uberbucket1, on 11/25/2008, -0/+6I have a local chocolate shop who have had it for a few years or so, it's... interesting. If your anywhere near DC (maybe during the inauguration) visit: http://www.biagiochocolate.com/
- connieLingus, on 11/25/2008, -3/+9bacon + anything = mmm mmm good.
- AmyVernon, on 11/24/2008, -6/+12It sounds FANtastic.
- inactive, on 11/25/2008, -1/+7Claudia Connell [pictured] had that face of disgust because there wasn't enough bacon.
- geodescent, on 11/25/2008, -0/+6When are they going to make bacon flavored bacon?
- VacantThoughts, on 11/25/2008, -1/+7Food has to be sophisticated to taste good now?
- fabriciom, on 11/25/2008, -0/+6"I have to say that there's no need to 'release the aroma' as it's already there in all its pungent glory and as for putting a tiny piece in my mouth – thank goodness I did, because it is quite simply the most unpleasant thing ever to have passed my lips."
I HIGHLY doubt thats the worst tasting thing that she has had on her lips. Just look at her face. Thats a "I thought you where going to say when!" face. - ironhide, on 11/25/2008, -5/+11I've eaten it (It's available in the U.S. at Whole Foods)
It is a little rectangle of heaven. - btschul, on 11/25/2008, -2/+8I love bacon as much as the next guy, but this sounds disgusting.
- cadebbie, on 11/25/2008, -2/+8I also had it from Whole Foods and yes it is good.
- WarrenG1983, on 11/25/2008, -2/+8That's what she said.
- Demonkid549, on 11/25/2008, -3/+9I'd rather have a chocolate flavored bacon bar.
- VacantThoughts, on 11/25/2008, -1/+6A friend and I were getting stoned one day and afterward we decided to make waffles, about halfway through making the waffles we had the bright idea of making some delicious bacon. Then my friend decided he really wanted some chocolate, so we made waffle bacon sandwiches drenched in chocolate syrup. Needless to say we ate every last bit then wanted more.
How is that for disgusting? - trotskyist, on 11/25/2008, -2/+7I've tried it before, and once you get past how disgusting the idea of a bacon flavored chocolate bar is, it's actually really good.
I also highly recommend the chili flavored chocolate, who knew chocolate and spicy went so well together... - hawarkarem, on 11/25/2008, -1/+6Fish and Chips? Sausages and Mash? Shepard's Pie?.......
.....only the best food ever! - lowtolerance, on 11/25/2008, -0/+5awesome. i'm going to DC next weekend, might stop in.
- diggdiggerid, on 11/25/2008, -2/+7if it comes in white chocolate then oh my god yes, i know where I'm going this winter
- MixMastaKooz, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4Definitely: chocolate, when not sweetened, is very good in sauces (Mole) and chili!! For chili, unsweetened chocolate really rounds out the flavor of the chili powder. I've also had spicy hot chocolate. Not my cup of tea, but it wasn't bad.
- CynicSight, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4I'm putting these in my sister's stocking for Chrismas. She's a vegan.
>:-) - Stavrosian, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4The main reason being so that when your predictably obnoxious behaviour annoys the locals, there's less opportunity for them to ***** on your plate in retaliation.
- VacantThoughts, on 11/25/2008, -2/+6I have eaten bacon covered in chocolate syrup sandwiched between two waffles, and that was pretty good actually.
- SirBrittanicus, on 11/25/2008, -2/+6A guy in one of my classes brought some it. It's really not as bad as it sounds.
- MewtwoReturns, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4You just described my breakfast about every other morning. Toast the bread, peanut butter (+ slight amount of butter if you want it even saltier), 12 pieces of bacon (6 on the sandwich and 6 on the side)...
I'm probably going to have a cholesterol level over 9000 before I'm 35, but you only live once! - Innagadadavida, on 11/25/2008, -1/+5Bacon-wrapped chocolate bacon-wrapped bacon?
- magneteye, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4They are actually really ***** good chocolate bars! A nice smokey like bacon flavor. If you like bacon, it is a must try! I buy them at a local shop here in Portland, OR called The Meadow. You can get them online here: http://www.atthemeadow.com/shop/index.php?main_pag ...
I also have tried the bacon & chocolate caramels they sell, and they are even ***** better! http://www.atthemeadow.com/shop/index.php?main_pag ...
Mmmmmmm... gimme some bacon! - meandnips, on 11/25/2008, -3/+7Someone brought bacon flavored chocolate to the office and I ate a piece. I totally agree with the writer, it was awful.
- wonderbriefs, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4And sold to Americans at Whole Foods here in Denver. And it's good.
- DickyT83, on 11/25/2008, -1/+5It is phenomenal. Especially if you toast the bread first, it lightly melt's the peanut butter for complete delciousity.
- Ibox, on 11/25/2008, -1/+5No.
- ferreth, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4Sophistication has nothing to do with good food. I love a good steak with a baked potato, but I wouldn't argue that's sophisticated either. Perhaps I need to start adding a side of chocolate to my potato with butter/chives/bacon?
