- jpouch, on 06/05/2008, -0/+0Interesting article--but I don't think we can fault the chefs who created the dishes that sometimes call for outlandish ingredients or cooking techniques. After all, cooking can be seen as an art form, and artists will go to any extreme to realize their vision. It's just that the culinary arts is something that is accepted, and expected, for the general public to emulate. But when applied to another art form, can you imagine if you had a 'recipe' book for a Cristo or Jackson Pollock? The directions would sound as equally, if not more, freaky.
