- CrimsonFlash, on 01/30/2009, -11/+293I would eat a "Sea Kitten."
Mmmm. Beer battered sea kittens... - stifrontman, on 01/30/2009, -27/+305"All jokes aside, giving up meat is one of the best ways you can help stop the advancement of global warming and air and water pollution."
...u srs? - fracktica, on 01/30/2009, -8/+268Sea kittens sound delicious.
- Snoosy, on 01/30/2009, -16/+157"All jokes aside, giving up meat is one of the best ways you can help stop the advancement of global warming and air and water pollution."
I'm all for going green, but I'd rather deal with global warming's consequences than give up my delicious juicy meat. - atomicwedgie, on 01/30/2009, -6/+135Does nobody in PETA get it? They are SOOOO ridiculous and such zealots that it's hard to take anything they do seriously.
- jazzfunkblues, on 01/30/2009, -6/+117Pussy of the sea?
- BlackOculus, on 01/30/2009, -5/+102Damn I really want an Omaha steak right about meow.
- AFelsinger, on 01/30/2009, -2/+91it's not a parody site... everything is identical to the PETA page except the steak ad. it was designed to confuse people and it worked. i call that a prank.

- cfuse, on 01/30/2009, -17/+99How is removing high efficiency protein from the world and replacing it with low efficiency incomplete plant proteins going to do that exactly?
I'm sick of pasty, voluntarily malnourished first world hippies preaching stupidity. It's worth mentioning B12 deficiency causes mental impairment. What sort of an idiot thinks there's even enough land mass to feed 6.5 billion people tofu?
Guess what, a "sea kitten" isn't the size of a ***** tree, doesn't need a ton of water and fertiliser (or pesticide), has complete proteins, doesn't need extra processing to be edible, and actually has flavour (because unlike vegan *****, the rest of us don't treat eating as penance).
These worthless ***** think that sitting in an office trying to think up more outlandish publicity stunts is work - if they had to get off their lazy, over entitled asses and try to grow enough vegetables to actually feed themselves they'd be dead in a year. You don't see people who actually have to farm to live crying over slaughtering animals, there's a really good reason for that - and it's not just the fact that they aren't PETA sissies who've got a boner for the rights of cockroaches.
PETA, what a ***** joke. - GiJoeBob, on 01/30/2009, -6/+78Silly PETA, fish are for eating!
- webgeek2point0, on 01/30/2009, -6/+67Why Omaha Steaks? They should've used a tuna ad.
- inactive, on 01/30/2009, -12/+72I'll do my part to save the world by eating meat to get rid of the cattle
- Secret7000, on 01/30/2009, -4/+59"Meant" implies some sort of thought process.
- StrangeFamous, on 01/30/2009, -14/+68It's related to how the Meat industry is a major producer of methane and poo. All those cows burpin' and fartin' are releasing Methane, which is actually a worse greenhouse gas than CO2.
Also, that's a lot of cow ***** when you think about it. And it's running off into waterways and rivers, creating algae blooms that suck all the oxygen out of the water, killing off fish and other living things.
It's the price we pay to have a wide selection of fresh meats in every supermarket.
We use a huge amount of the food we produce just to feed cattle. - Forsakenmantra, on 01/30/2009, -12/+64I also heard that giving up meat will cure all cancer in the world, feed every starving child and bring firefly back on the air.
- Radica1Faith, on 01/30/2009, -4/+47Whats really sad is that there are some things that Peta stands against that truly are problems. Many animals live in terrible conditions on farms when it really isn't necessary. With some better training to farm workers and some regulations it could go a long way to give animals better treatment.
But this cause is completely lost since Peta tries to tell us how to live our lives and that we can't eat meat, when it should truly be our choice. So we can't take them seriously, and we really shouldn't. Its almost as if Peta is the cause of the lack of support to the ethical treatment of animals. - covertbadger, on 01/30/2009, -0/+43Firefly you say?
*throws away chicken sandwich* - Dreeon, on 01/30/2009, -5/+47Massive, tasty herds of cattle for us to eat.
- Opiate, on 01/30/2009, -14/+562 out of 2 communists disagree
- picpak, on 01/30/2009, -4/+43"line-by-line recreation"?
It's FRAMES. - mixxo, on 01/30/2009, -1/+38and i call that funny.... surf & turf for me tonight :p
- Sonixunite, on 01/30/2009, -3/+38So if global warming skyrocketed wouldn't it take less fuel to cook our steaks?
- StrangeFamous, on 01/30/2009, -6/+40It's not the eating, so much as the breeding and sustaining of massive herds of cattle for us to eat.
- majorca, on 01/30/2009, -2/+35Delicious juicy kitten meat
- Hetman, on 01/30/2009, -4/+35PETA you can call fish what you want. Call it solyent green as far as I am concerned. But nothing is going to stop me from eating sea kittens. And really is this ad aimed at people with 7 year old mentality?
- billrdio, on 01/30/2009, -5/+34Well, this is what happens when environmentalism becomes a religion.
- BooLag, on 04/23/2009, -1/+29http://www.2flashgames.com/2fgkjn134kjlh1cfn81vc34 ...
I'M IN UR OCEANZ EATING UR FISHEZ!! - Sonixunite, on 01/30/2009, -14/+41u say wut now?
Technically a majority of us should probably eat 30% less meat, and 30% more vegetables, but global warming and pollution have very little to do with it. - Snoosy, on 01/30/2009, -8/+33What about when all that cow ***** is used to fertilize the plants that vegetarians eat?
- coyote1284, on 01/30/2009, -0/+25..with a side of *hush puppies*!
- Flipdawg27, on 01/30/2009, -0/+25Omaha Steaks > tuna
- ByrcheWroot, on 01/30/2009, -0/+23You should marinade them overnight to really bring out the flavor.
- nib0rd00h, on 01/30/2009, -2/+24So it's now "Sea Kittens ’n’ Chips"?
- Destinatus, on 01/30/2009, -0/+22*runs around knocking burgers out of people's hands*
- viper001, on 01/30/2009, -4/+26The problem with the "animal rights" movement is that insane idiots like PETA push people away rather than bring awareness. The whole movement is becoming a joke, and will be more of one with this ridiculous campaign. When will PETA and the retards that support them realize that humans are omnivores, and that nothing will ever change that. They should stick to fighting puppy mills, dolphin slaughter, deforestation, etc.
- method7670, on 01/30/2009, -1/+23No they are a near terrorist group to be honest.
Their leader has been quoted in saying that he wanted to BLOW UP meat plants or any other "non veggie" plant.
They kill more animals than anyone else by an insane distance in margin.
So ***** PETA! - xGeneric, on 01/30/2009, -1/+23I agree with Radica1Faith with the idea that PETA does indeed have some noble causes.
Trying to get people to stop eating meat is ridiculous. I don't have any problem with people who just choose not to eat meat, either because they don't like it, for health reasons, or it's just some personal decision they've made. But to try and get others to stop through guilt is ridiculous... it's not some horrible, unnatural act... we're omnivores. I have a few teeth in my mouth that are designed to tear up chunks of meat(they work great BTW).
I've even argued with a few who say consuming animal products is unnatural. Personally, I see Humans as animals too. Intelligent, yes, but still animals. Meat has been part of our natural diet for hundreds of thousands of years, and telling us to stop eating it seems a bit unnatural to me.
I try to be understanding of others beliefs, and some people pose some good arguments against eating meat(or just specific kinds of meat), but if you look at a fish and shed a tear because people kill and eat them, you're ***** retarded. It's going to die eventually, most likely by being eaten by something... that something may as well be me. - Darthyoshiboy, on 01/30/2009, -2/+24A million bonus internet points to the person that gets that live on http://www.peta.org/sea_kittens/
- bieber, on 01/30/2009, -14/+35Yes, they're serious, animal agriculture is easily one of the top greenhouse gas contributors in the world, particularly of extra potent methane. Moreover, it's pretty much the only source that you can easily completely remove your own responsibility for (that is to say, it's a lot easier to go vegan than it is to never use anything involving fossil fuels again).
Think about it, they're slaughtering literally hundreds of billions of animals every year for human consumption. Think about all the grain those animals are eating (and how many humans that could feed, btw), all the waste they must be producing, and how much fuel is burned in the entire process. Why should it come as any surprise that animal agriculture is screwing up the environment? - Coffeedemon, on 01/30/2009, -0/+21Actually 90% of the meat I've consumed in the last 2 weeks has been moose. I know where it came from and I know who shot and processed it. It lived out its adult life in the woods, was killed with a single bullet and pulled out of the woods by a combination of snowshoe and snowmobile. There were ~140Lbs per quarter which resulted in a freezer full of steaks, etc to feed 4-8 people. All in all thats a pretty low impact on the earth I'd say.
- upnortherik, on 01/30/2009, -6/+27"It's the price we pay to have a wide selection of fresh meats in every supermarket."
So worth it. - cfuse, on 01/30/2009, -0/+21Considering the number of people who would gladly eat a land kitten, I don't really think PETAs got their slogan quite right.
- billrdio, on 01/30/2009, -0/+21@Philogos Then perhaps PETA should focus on stopping unnecessary animal abuse rather than trying to stop humans from consuming a natural part of our diet, i.e., animal protein.
- BooLag, on 04/23/2009, -1/+21Mermaids!
- darlingt, on 01/30/2009, -5/+24Fish are food, not friends!
- Psara, on 01/30/2009, -5/+24That's effing fantastic!!
Now lets all go get some deep-fried land-fish! YUM! - BooLag, on 04/23/2009, -1/+20I KNEW IT!!!
GORRAM MEAT-EATERS!!! - graemee, on 01/30/2009, -2/+20Termites produce more Methane then all the cattle.
