- OMGRussellCrowe, on 02/27/2009, -1/+7Homer: Are you saying you're never going to eat any animal again? What about bacon?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Ham?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Pork chops?
Lisa: Dad, those all come from the same animal.
Homer: Heh heh heh. Ooh, yeah, right, Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal. - AnotherDiggGuy, on 02/26/2009, -2/+7I thought this was an operation pork stimulus spending game.
But I like bacon so I'll digg it. - insky60, on 02/27/2009, -0/+4So where's the kosher version?
- P1um, on 02/27/2009, -2/+5You began reading this reply expecting more of the same. A lame joke perhaps or maybe a well thought out commentary on the picture at hand. No. Not here my friend. I should be doing homework right now. I should be doing something constructive or productive, but I'm not. Why? you ask. I have no idea. I wish I didn't procrastinate. It's a vicious cycle. A gradual downward spiral eventually resulting in a failed class. So much tuition payed just to be wasted. Why are you here fellow digg user? Surely you too could be spending your time being productive, but instead you are reading my reply. Word after word after word. What ever I type, you will read. It's almost like I'm controlling your mind right now. Blue Shirt. See, now your picturing a blue shirt. Seinfeld is on, so I'm gonna watch that now. Good Day.
- inactive, on 02/26/2009, -2/+4I thought this was about the stimulus......
This is not fair!!! I am on a need to know basis, and I don't need to know what part of the pig's gut this came from! Your pictures are fantastic and all but I feel that you should have kept this to yourself. - inactive, on 02/27/2009, -0/+2I wish bacon grew on trees.
- michelsonmorley, on 02/27/2009, -2/+4If you squint correctly it does look like a picture of America and the stimulus package.
See, look in the top right corner? That's New York. New York gets more coffee because they're always on the run.
Bottom left corner - California. They get Pork Cider Stew. And in some weird way, that represents the train systems they'll be getting.
And Texas? Ham and cheese. I don't know any Texan who doesn't like Ham and Cheese.
I originally wrote something else but realized that 5 other people wrote the same thing, so I just wrote something lame in its place. Don't blame me, I just can't delete my dumb comments. - EricAnderton, on 02/27/2009, -0/+2This post was brought to you by the National Council for ADHD.
- JasonMath, on 02/27/2009, -0/+1Me too. :(

- gmarie624, on 02/26/2009, -3/+4A board game with all the pork/9,000 earmarks in the stimulus package would be awesome! Especially if you got to match them up to the pols who stuck them in there!! Where are you, John McCain? Didn't you say you'd "name names"? Oh, but you didn't win. What a shame.
- idavidtang, on 02/27/2009, -0/+1They forgot to pin the rest of the pig for a hot dog.
- UheardItHear, on 02/27/2009, -3/+4Look! It's Obama!!!
- inactive, on 02/27/2009, -0/+1This would be better if it was a government spending joke!
- shnizep, on 02/27/2009, -1/+2LOL I thought this about about the "stimulus" until I clicked the link. Very appropriate article for our time.
- osok, on 02/27/2009, -0/+1wonder if P.E.(s)T.A would approve?

- Dragular, on 02/27/2009, -2/+1I'm with sanman, with all the political stuff on Digg I was not expecting there to be edible pork.
- onceinawhile, on 02/27/2009, -3/+2Cool, I hope they know how pork is produced.
"Pigs live by the hundreds or thousands in warehouse-like barns, in rows of wall-to-wall pens. ... Forty fully grown 250-pound male hogs often occupy a pen the size of a tiny apartment. They trample each other to death. There is no sunlight, straw, fresh air or earth. The floors are slatted to allow excrement to fall into a catchment pit under the pens, but many things besides excrement can wind up in the pits: afterbirths, piglets accidentally crushed by their mothers, old batteries, broken bottles of insecticide, antibiotic syringes, stillborn pigs ..."
