- Nitesmoke, on 10/16/2008, -0/+3Bottled water is the Mac of the beverage industry. People try to justify paying for it by saying things like "It just tastes better" (though in every blind taste test people can't tell the difference, many times choosing tap as the best tasting). They have to justify paying more for the same product, so they defend the decision with terrible excuses.
Fact: Bottled water is less regulated than your tap.
Fact: Study after study shows that in a blind taste test, 9/10 people can't tell the difference.
Fact: Bottled water is tap water. Sometimes filtered, sometimes not. It's never "pure spring water"
Fact: In study after study bottled water is found to be more contaminated than tap.
Fact: Bottled water is terrible for the environment.
Just by a filter for your tap, and stop being a snob, you douche.

- kemp34, on 10/16/2008, -1/+2Look up "Ecolo Blue" online for a sweet water product.
- EwMo, on 10/16/2008, -1/+2Well this is what happens when you outsource water bottling to China.
- psud0, on 10/16/2008, -0/+3This happens in Europe pretty often. In some eastern European countries, they even found Salmonella in bottled water. This sucks.
- honeybrass, on 10/16/2008, -0/+4Big ***** surprise, Penn and Teller told us about this years ago.
