- finemesunshine, on 08/17/2008, -0/+0I thought the Constitutional discussion was fun, I liked the part about being surprised by the police already having a drug dog with them. It was a fun little read.
- pilotflyer, on 08/16/2008, -0/+0Thank you for the comment, I enjoy hearing from readers of my posts, whether someone agrees with me or disagrees. I do think that we are at the limit of how you can punish a first time offender of a TN DUI, so I think you have to turn your attention to the source of who is serving people until intoxication. I am glad you found the article informative.

It seems that all the efforts are focused on the DUI driver and that is a good thing to a point, but then you have to look at who served them this alcohol to get them drunk in the first place. I think the bars should have to have trials in Tennessee on DUI just like the other civil cases he talked about, that seems only fair to me. I think the DUI driver and the bar should both be responsible for a Tennessee DUI.
