I'm glad they actually tried them themselves, and also remind folks that acidic stuff'll still burn your mouth and throat even though it won't feel that way. I can only imagine if frats started making pledges drink gallons of lemon juice after eating miracle berries....

- samoan27, on 08/13/2008, -1/+7I bought a miracle fruit plant back in May the last time this got to the front page of digg and yes, the fruit totally works. However when I did research it sounded like the protein was very unstable and they were never able to produce the same effect without the fruit, things might have changed though.

but I've seen this on Digg at least 3 times...and I haven't been around that long.
Buried.- bajesus, on 08/14/2008, -1/+2I could be wrong, but I think the tablets are a relatively new product. Thinkgeek just added them this week, and the only other sites I found them on were specialty sites that pretty much just sold the tablets.
