That's why you saw many stores not taking them, right from the start. Also, the corporation didn't really tell any of them about this promotion beforehand.

If the restaurants had scanned the coupons before taking them, everything would be fine. And you're only allowed to print 4 coupons, via the Coupons.com print application. Still, it's a boneheaded move to give away a free meal to anyone with a printer. At least require some kind of purchase.
