- enevitable, on 05/22/2009, -1/+153nevermind the fact that whoever you serve the drink to will think there are roofies in their icecubes

- UnFriendlyFire, on 05/22/2009, -5/+111It's called the Flaming Ho... Moe! It's called the Flaming Moe! I'm Moe.
- mikek814, on 05/23/2009, -3/+106frozen cyanide capsules <--- epic prank with jail time
- weister42, on 05/23/2009, -0/+95WARNING! The frozen Mentos trick may cause spontaneous wet t-shirt contests among unsuspecting attractive female drinkers.
- omgukk, on 05/23/2009, -2/+91and then wait for the soda to get all over your carpet. Genius.
- Spinducky08, on 05/23/2009, -1/+78But wait, SHAM-WOW will pick up 50% of the cola...soaked up right there! Are you following me, Camera Guy?"
- BlockedUser, on 05/23/2009, -1/+76Try not to give it away by staring at the ice cubes with an anxious grin while waiting for the bastards to melt.
Easier said than done. - squishee, on 05/22/2009, -1/+64It's like there's a party in my mouth and everybody's invited!
- Kelden21, on 05/23/2009, -2/+65Not sure how kindly people are going to view you dropping what appears to be a pill into random strangers' drinks.
- idmclaren, on 05/23/2009, -0/+56I'm thinking that the darkness of the coke would hide it, and also, I don't think that many people pay a lot of attention to the ice cubes in their drink. I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but I think it would work more often than not.
- Julian88888888, on 05/23/2009, -1/+48how the hell am I suppose to know when "Just before the liquid solidifies"
COME ON! - inigomntoya, on 05/23/2009, -0/+44Which is why you offer to bring ice to a friends party!
- eraofk00l, on 05/23/2009, -2/+46that's a dick move.
- Xorp, on 05/23/2009, -0/+40http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/8725/homersimps ...
- Devine122, on 05/22/2009, -4/+39Or you can just carry around a pack of Mentos so you can drop them in peoples drinks whenever you want.
- thelastcivilian, on 05/23/2009, -0/+33WARNING! Bring camera.
- HeavyWave, on 05/23/2009, -3/+36***** you Digg and your ***** ads with sound! I'm installing AdBlock.
- groo68, on 05/23/2009, -0/+32skip the freezing process, the ice needing to melt is a timed prank, so that they are holding it when it erupts, whereas cyanide will not react and can be put in any drink with or without ice. Of course ice is a convenient way to avoid the usual "why are you pouring that powder into my drink?" question.
- aigulf, on 05/23/2009, -4/+31It's like there's a party in my mouth, and everybody's throwing up!
- staulkor, on 05/23/2009, -4/+28Dick move, but still ***** awesome.

- tgc1, on 05/23/2009, -0/+21Remind me never to accept drinks from you.
- DavidTurnbull, on 05/23/2009, -0/+17*poorly attempted date rape
- aigulf, on 05/23/2009, -1/+17It'll fizz over much too quickly for anyone to think it's anything but mentos.
- mg101153, on 05/23/2009, -1/+14Look guys i brought ice!
yay.. - dlan4327, on 05/23/2009, -0/+13Your thinking of the Nerve and Brain Tonic that Mr Burns gave to Ken Griffey Jr.
May cause Gigantism. - Jo9100, on 05/23/2009, -3/+16Flaming *****? Mmyeah...
- wrillo, on 05/23/2009, -2/+14You make a valid point, but do you have to be such a douche about it?
- peteyb1313, on 05/23/2009, -0/+12fill the ice cube tray 1/3 with water, freeze it, stick the mentos on that, fill it the rest of the way up and freeze.
/read that "COME ON!" in a GOB voice - prkchpsndwiches, on 05/23/2009, -1/+12This actually wouldn't work. For the chemical reaction to take place you need the surface area of all the Mentos to hit the diet pop at once.
- inactive, on 05/23/2009, -0/+10This could make an interesting variation on quarters.
- thecoolestguy, on 05/23/2009, -1/+10Good night.
- inactive, on 05/23/2009, -0/+8you're a sick bastard
- Subduction, on 05/23/2009, -0/+8Like any of my friends take so long to finish one drink that the ice has a change to melt.
It's funny because they have a drinking problem. - iSinned, on 05/23/2009, -3/+11I stayed up all night, and now I'm going to bed. Good night.
- hasansexy, on 05/23/2009, -0/+7"Also in June 2006, Kristine Anzalone served her roommate, Joseph Gentissi Jr., an iced tea spiked with Visine. Gentissi experienced vomiting and bleeding from his rectum"
That's ***** up. - foofightrs777, on 05/23/2009, -2/+9Stupid people that don't realize that alcohol itself has about 7 calories per a gram. Not to mention the fact that it slows your metabolism as its a depressant.
- jawbreaker4fs, on 05/23/2009, -0/+7You needed someone to teach you that ice floats and is transparent?
- WBWB, on 05/23/2009, -0/+7I call *****. The act of dropping the Mentos into the cola is what starts the chain reaction of bubbles. An ice cube melting to reveal a Mentos is going to be too slow to trigger the chain reaction of bubbles.
- MeowGuy, on 05/23/2009, -0/+6Use flat diet coke?
- MEGACAMZ, on 05/23/2009, -0/+6Now that my name is earl has been canceled, it seems Jason lee has turned into some what of a cartoonist!
- Subduction, on 05/23/2009, -1/+6A standard kitchen thermometer in one of the cubes with the alarm set to 33 degrees.
SCIENCE! - maqikelefant, on 05/23/2009, -0/+5A groo68:
Lol, it's probably not good that you can refer to " why are you pouring that powder into my drink?" as the usual question. - babaoriley06, on 05/23/2009, -0/+5How to ruin your carpet:
- gemlarin, on 05/23/2009, -1/+5Who would fail to notice the strange round candies in their ice cubes? Funny concept, but fail on the delivery.
Also, how the hell would someone know when "just before the liquid freezes" is? - cactus476, on 05/23/2009, -0/+4The ice is used because the killer has an alibi as they have the same drink as others, they just drink it before the ice has time to melt.
- edreno, on 05/23/2009, -2/+6"making the icecubes from the same drink will help cover whats inside... and get someone else or even themselves to do it ^_^."
How do you plan on freezing mentos in Diet Coke...?
It's the reaction from the Diet Coke that causes the effect. - D3koy, on 05/23/2009, -1/+5Anyone think this would actually work? I'd so try it...
- rjshatz, on 05/23/2009, -0/+4If there were a few more comments slamming religion and some with links to xkcd, this page could be Digg in a nutshell.
