- webkami, on 06/12/2008, -1/+17A great discovery, its a great day for....
....damn its The Sun. - TimDigg, on 06/12/2008, -1/+13India, Japanese, Kabab, Thai aren't exactly what I think of as "fast food", even Pizza at most places, I wouldn't consider fast food
- muniak, on 06/12/2008, -0/+10Neat? I guess I will continue eating sushi and pizza...
- Samas11, on 06/12/2008, -0/+7Mmmmm...lentils
- Kyrgizion, on 06/12/2008, -1/+8Dugg for Young Ones reference, though most diggers might be too young to get it.

***** cosmo articles on digg now. - TimDigg, on 06/12/2008, -0/+4Good points, now that I think about it, I remember hearing that in the UK they kabab stands...like hot dog stands here...
- drlha, on 06/12/2008, -0/+4This article is from a UK newspaper. In the UK Kebabs are definitely fast food. Indian however although common "after pub" food, usually involves a sit down restaurant or a 25 minute wait in a take away so isn't really "fast food" I'd afree. Japanese I guess can be fast food if you go to somewhere like Yo Sushi.
- sabroskie, on 06/12/2008, -0/+4I've learned to just avoid fast-food for the most part.
- inactive, on 06/12/2008, -0/+3Some is better than others or has side benefits is the point of the article. You should try reading more than headlines.
- sagat, on 06/12/2008, -0/+3First The Daily Mail, now The Sun? What's next The People, The Mirror and The Express. Digg is becomming tabloid fare.
- DeFex, on 06/12/2008, -1/+3Don't forget "anti gagging agent" it allows you to keep down your mcdognads hamburger. Bypassing the natural human reaction which is to throw up when swallowing such a thing.
- wowsah156, on 06/12/2008, -1/+3Buried for being an article from The Sun: Crap journalism poor writing and no original research. A 10 year old could have written a better article. The Sun is a Rupert Murdoch paper. buried.
- inactive, on 06/12/2008, -4/+6Completely misleading title
sunburn and wrinkles vs atherosclerosis
hmmmm, tough decision - buddyw, on 06/12/2008, -0/+2You know you would have anyway...
- TomPhoolery, on 06/12/2008, -0/+2Sushi is fast food now?
Doesn't seem so fast to me, plus it's hella expensive.
But tasty. - hwy9nightkid, on 06/12/2008, -0/+1"the indian" wtf?
- Duositex, on 06/12/2008, -0/+1So the formula for a successful article about food is to find a bunch of compounds that are good for you and then find foods that they occur in naturally. Wow. Buried.
- yojiffyskippy, on 06/12/2008, -1/+2Exactly! Who would want to live a long life with wrinkles. Disgusting!
- zdislaw, on 06/12/2008, -1/+2This is just more of our craaaazy new way of thinking about food as simply a sum of nutrients, divorced from the entire diet (or even from the food that the nutrient is a part of). By focusing on which nutrient (or micronutrient) does what, we are more easily made to believe the health claims on boxes of absolute crap. Just try not to eat processed foods (and good luck finding them in supermarkets), and you'll mostly be kind of ok...sort of.
Or we could just keep hopping from one craze (no-fat, omega-3, carbs, blah) to the next without actually starting to eat healthfully. - kamiryuu, on 06/12/2008, -1/+2I wouldn't even use the Sun newspaper to wipe my arse.
garbage. - Rawry, on 06/12/2008, -1/+2"It's Chinese food – not medicine – that can save your health, say docs."
...you can't be serious, right? Yes, please tell all the fat people to eat more chinese takeaway and then their health problems will disappear. Stop trying to find ways to justify unhealthy lifestyles already! Occasional takeaway food won't kill you but you shouldn't be under any illusions that you're saving your health by eating it. - radiantstorm, on 06/12/2008, -1/+2Sleep . . . continue eating our corporate crap . . . sleep . . .
- davidlow, on 06/12/2008, -0/+1Misleading? Definitely.
I mean, why would you want your fast to be food friendly, anyway? - Cattywampus, on 06/12/2008, -0/+1How to live fast, die young, and leave a good-looking corpse!
- noumuon, on 06/12/2008, -0/+1if you actually looked at the rest of the menu, you'd see a lot of chinese food is pretty healthy. even better, if you go to a real chinese restaurant almost all the food is quite healthy.
- donna1234, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1New research says the spicy preservative that gives Chinese food like Peking duck and pickled tofu their red colour can cut cancer by two thirds.

http://www.t30.info/ - jazzguitar18, on 06/12/2008, -0/+1this is america we don't have that kind of fast food, just the burger joints and that place that serves dog food, taco bell!
- beauley, on 06/13/2008, -0/+1How should the consumer be notified as to the possible dangers?

Should We Label Toxicity Levels of Foods? - Whadabala, on 06/12/2008, -0/+1Every week I hear of about 5 new foods that I "should" be eating for different benefits. I'm not going to buy every ***** food on this planet, because they all have different benefits.
- WeDoCreative, on 06/12/2008, -0/+1"The tomato paste on your pizza is said to help beat sunburn and wrinkles" That is because tomatoes contain large amounts of an antioxidant called lycopene, which may be responsible for this possible positive effect. Tomato paste and sauces contain a greater amount of lycopene, because they are more concentrated than fresh tomatoes.
- thetalkingbrain, on 06/12/2008, -0/+1and in other news, researchers from the weekly world news today are indicating that injecting tumors directly into the body may be better for you then a healthy diet, exercise and vitamins COMBINED....paid for you by tumor lobbyists of america
- HeyArnold, on 06/12/2008, -0/+1sushi is NOT fast food.
inaccurate. - noumuon, on 06/12/2008, -0/+1yea, because indian, thai, chinese and japanese foods are so horrible. everyone knows fish is the least healthy thing you can eat ... -_-
- beauley, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1In order to sell food to millions of consumers, the food industry must make it appealing to as many as possible, from the young child to the elderly. In order to accomplish this, individual food suppliers use additives to make their foods taste better.

Are There Hidden Additives in Our Foods? - mydave, on 08/12/2008, -0/+0be careful from eating so much meat.
http://search.ashtech.info/health - fiony, on 06/12/2008, -0/+0some time i enjoy fast food !
- inactive, on 06/12/2008, -1/+1This is just another reason for morons to justify stuffing more crap down their throats.
Like you can't benefit from these ingredients in healthy foods.
Irrelevant article - WeDoCreative, on 06/13/2008, -0/+0Sushi can be fast food... what about "Wasabi"?? and its cheap, and its healthy. http://www.wasabi.uk.com/
- jfsimard79, on 06/12/2008, -1/+1I rest my case.
- cybercabz, on 06/29/2009, -0/+0Welcome to my beautiful new restaurant in Milton Keynes http://dineasiamiltonkeynes.magnify.net
I sincerely hope that you enjoy the blend of Asian food and find the atmosphere to be an intoxicating blend of many different Asian cultures. In fact, it was the blend between the intricacies and exquisite taste of Thai food, together with the top-selling food in the UK - Indian cuisine - combined with the colourful culture and heritage of both countires that inspired me to combine both cuisines under one roof.
I opened my first restaurant in 1988 and have gone on to found the Blue Orchid group, an elite chain of restaurants in Southern England which specialise in the finest Thai cuisine and particularly luxurious Thai ambiance. I currently spend approximately four months per year in Thailand and personally source all my own decor and furniture from my trips to this beautiful land, as well as leading the recruitment of our chefs - all of whom have previous experience in some of Thailand’s top hotels and restaurants. As a result I can assure you that, not only is the setting and ambiance genuine, but the delicious food and service is authentic too.
It is my genuine hope that the consequence of combining two such diverse and colourful cultures, both with such a wonderful mixture of hospitality and delectable fare, is an equally memorable and mouth-watering experience for you today! - zbadboy72, on 06/12/2008, -0/+0Kinda deceptive title since I noticed no mention of Macs and anything related to that corporation.
- Areiadebondi, on 06/12/2008, -1/+0No food is just good or just bad anyways. Eating an Oven-Pizza with lots of veggies and little cheese is definitely different to eating a fatty salami-one with double cheese. But thats no news!!
- Azuvic, on 06/12/2008, -1/+0Mmmmmmmm........
- frosted, on 06/12/2008, -1/+0lycopene in pizza..
about as much impact as another car to a freeway during rush hour...
unless you eat about 12 large pizzas a day for a year, then you will be as big as a semi!
dug down. - sakurama, on 06/12/2008, -5/+4This is a joke right? Bury...
