I ordered some last year and they were $3.50, and I saw them being sold in person in a different area for $4.00. It's probably better for sales to change the amount - it's less likely to be noticed by the consumer than a price hike.

They still cost just as much to make as last year (inflation adjusted). How does the economy justify smaller box sizes? I think it's just a cheap excuse. I was always the number 1 cookie seller in my troop and I still have my uniform with all my patches. Girl Scouts have helped countless girls become excellent women and have done much to serve the communities they reside in. The Girl Scouts are a great organization that are struggling just like everyone else. They are also merging councils and selling off properties while trying to retool their image to help stay afloat. Buy more cookies and support them because they do good things!!!!!!!
