I might have to digg down for inaccuracy.Candy corn is ***** delicious - mogebier, on 10/20/2009, -1/+48Who is this douche bag?
Smarties and Candy Corn are freaking awesome!
Pixi Sticks are good too, but not as good as Smarties.
The wax fangs are nasty, though. - FiestyPumpkin, on 10/19/2009, -0/+41I still love Smarties and Pixie Stix!!!
- serif69, on 10/20/2009, -0/+396. Pennies.
Seriously, don't be that house. - CaptTu, on 10/19/2009, -2/+26The worst thing about Halloween is of course... Candy corn.
Lewis Black on candy corn....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8yuvMsvNqY - OmNomNomBACON, on 10/20/2009, -1/+25*****, I love the way smarties taste!
Candy corn too!
And pixie sticks! - Linake, on 10/20/2009, -6/+24Smarties? No no, those are Rockets! http://farm1.static.flickr.com/45/280757532_244de7 ...
THESE are Smarties! http://www.blisstree.com/chocolatebytes/files/2008 ... - asgardshill, on 10/20/2009, -2/+17Buried for the author being a total dumbass. I'm going to go get some candy corn RIGHT NOW!
- Cowzeetgrass, on 10/20/2009, -0/+14"Corn that tastes like candy. I can't wait". Son of a bitch!!
- janinekahn, on 10/19/2009, -2/+14It's pretty good the first mouthful. Then it just starts tasting like mounds of sugar.
- wbrns, on 10/20/2009, -1/+12The first three are all good for taste! Wax teeth or whatever, well, suck. And ring pops taste good if you have the patience for them. Otherwise they are just sugary bling!
- yeeaauuh, on 10/20/2009, -0/+11Glad peanut butter kisses DIDN'T make the list. They get a bad rap. Like mustard or hot sauce, they have an acquired taste that children can't appreciate.
- mark5hs, on 10/20/2009, -0/+11Buried. Wtf, 4 of those 5 are delicious and I didn't know the 5th was edible.
- BatemanPP, on 10/20/2009, -4/+14The only kind?
- yacks, on 10/20/2009, -0/+10I hope you didnt throw out the ones i handed out.. they were rare pennies worth $5 a piece.
- Polycarp87, on 10/20/2009, -0/+10It IS mounds of sugar.
- JasonAdams13, on 10/20/2009, -1/+10http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockets_%28candy%29
They're only known as Rockets in Canada. The article tripped me up too, I just wtfed and came to the comment section and everyone's calling them Smarties too. I almost shat my pants in confusion. - iamdeirdre, on 10/20/2009, -0/+9Anyone else notice:
"This tube of technicolor grain roots teeth"
"roots teeth"? Is that bad or good? - MNorton17, on 10/20/2009, -0/+8My favorite Halloween candy is the Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
- BlindingDawn, on 10/20/2009, -2/+10PopRocks
/comments - noumuon, on 10/20/2009, -1/+9wtf? is this the halloween twilight zone or what... i've only ever known these as smarties: http://images.celebrateexpress.com/mgen/merchandis ...
- VenDrake, on 10/20/2009, -0/+7I don't care what this article says. Smarties Rock!
- seltaeb4, on 10/20/2009, -1/+8And that would be a problem because... ? ;)
- AmyVernon, on 10/20/2009, -2/+8I LOVE candy corn. And those pumpkins made of the same crap. And don't even get me started on pixie sticks. They're a tube of sugar. How can that not taste good? And Smarties? LOOOOOOOVE
- inactive, on 10/20/2009, -0/+6"Mentioning the name makes me..."
Candy Corn
Candy Corn
Candy Corn
Candy Corn
Candy Corn - SuicideMouse, on 10/20/2009, -1/+7They're called rockets around here...
These are Smarties http://www.blisstree.com/chocolatebytes/files/2008 ... - soulonfire928, on 10/20/2009, -0/+5I did that once myself.
And agreed. - soulonfire928, on 10/20/2009, -2/+7I don't get the hate on candy corn I've heard lately. I think it's ***** awesome.
- Yomoska, on 10/20/2009, -0/+5I've lived in BC, Canada my whole life and only had the "M&M" type Smarties. This is the first time I've seen the other kind, they look like Rockets, http://farm1.static.flickr.com/45/280757532_244de7 ...
- Polycarp87, on 10/20/2009, -0/+5I snorted a line of pixie stick once.
Poor choice. Live and learn. - BatemanPP, on 10/20/2009, -3/+8Whoa. Where do you live? I lived in the Midwest, North Carolina, and Boston and I'm pretty sure we don't have chocolate "Smarties" or anything called "Rockets." I've never seen those.
- kinseyincanada, on 10/20/2009, -4/+9what the ***** kind of smarties are those?
- str1fe, on 10/20/2009, -3/+7No Fun Dip?
- jayp900, on 10/20/2009, -0/+4i love smarties and ring pops
- XxModestMousexX, on 10/20/2009, -0/+4So smarties are M&M's with a different label?
- dantheman18, on 10/20/2009, -0/+4Nothing about the orange marshmallow shaped like a peanut?
- abehammy111, on 10/20/2009, -0/+4actually, smarties came way before sweet tarts.
- davdev, on 10/20/2009, -1/+5I am far into the hate Candy Corn camp. I don't see how anyone can even put those vile little things in their mouth.
To each his own I guess - BoneStamp, on 10/20/2009, -0/+3The American kind. Everywhere else in the world they are chocolate candies from Nestle:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smarties - iptunnell, on 10/20/2009, -0/+3Candy corn is awful! There's a reason it's only sold once a year. You don't see anyone giving their girlfriends a heart-shaped box of candy corn for Valentine's day, do you? Not a great argument since we switch to little heart-shaped antacids for V-Day, but you get the point. However, I can get behind Smarties... love those things! Problem is, they're crack for kids and I have two!
- Linake, on 10/20/2009, -0/+3Not at all. Smarties > M&M's. You can't understand until you try them.
- rocknog, on 10/20/2009, -0/+3I've been waiting for an article like this since the beginning of October - Halloween just doesn't seem right without a "horrible Halloween candies" article. Unfortunately though, this one isn't too terribly great, as it only has five items and I love pixie sticks - but on the other hand, I don't care what anyone else says, I can't ***** stand candy corn.
- barryh777, on 10/20/2009, -0/+3Candy corn flavor = (maple + molasses)
- Streeks, on 10/20/2009, -2/+5How can you not include crap like Tootsie Rolls or Milk Duds on that list?
- BoneStamp, on 10/20/2009, -0/+3The US is the only developed country where Nestle does not market Smarties. Smarties are similar to M&Ms although Smarties have a more European style chocolate, and have a much longer history. Nestle Smarties were invented in 1882 while M&M's didn't come around until 1941.
- josh17, on 10/20/2009, -0/+3Same here, but then what the hell do they call real Smarties?
- Speedy7, on 10/20/2009, -0/+3I've never done it.
But I'll heed your warnings. - quirkopatra, on 10/20/2009, -2/+5I always hated Bit O Honeys.
- masterstghm, on 10/20/2009, -0/+3Why is this written in the past tense as if these candies were no longer manufactured?
- Idonteven, on 10/20/2009, -0/+3The wrapper on the candy is clearly labeled "Smarties". Are you an idiot by chance?
