- philbutler, on 05/21/2009, -0/+11And just when I am sooooooo hungry too.
- krellor, on 05/21/2009, -0/+10Kind of lame that the burrito contest winners only get the prize of free food for life if you're a women.
- GoKings, on 05/21/2009, -1/+10I think I could take that pizza down. Probably the doughnut too.
- nochilinopity, on 05/21/2009, -0/+8Anyone else a big fan of Man V. Food? It's one thing to hear about these challenges...it's another to see one guy go around the country trying them all.
- JasonCox, on 05/21/2009, -0/+7***** you Digg, I just finished dinner and for once wasn't still hungry... then I saw this.... Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go find something else to eat.
- combatchuck, on 05/21/2009, -1/+8No, we're pretty well aware of why we get fat.
- sirjimithy, on 05/21/2009, -0/+4Last time I was a women, there's no way I can eat big burrito!
- HurricaneDC, on 05/21/2009, -0/+4There are few thing as satisfying as a mega-*****.
- Seeds0215, on 05/21/2009, -0/+4I live only 20 minutes from Clearfied, PA where the "belly buster" burger is. They now make an even bigger burger for parties, catering, etc. The new burger is over 100lbs in total weight and must be ordered 2 months in advance. I don't know all the stats, but it is like 5 heads of lettuce, a gallon of mayo, and some other crazy numbers. Two guys can just get their arms around it to give you an idea of the diameter..It's a crazy burger

etc. But yeah, only in America. - wesleyzero, on 05/21/2009, -1/+5I feel the need to take a big dump just looking at these pictures.
- Niz1, on 05/21/2009, -0/+4I know some people will find this lame, but I find TGI Fridays (UK) Monterey Burger Ultimate to be a challenge. I can take it all + chips but the last bite goes down real slow. I presume the American TGI ones are even bigger, sure is nice though, my ability to eat a lot has gone since being healthy is the thing now.
- lagoamedia, on 05/21/2009, -0/+4I once ate a one pound burger. I took me 45 minutes. A friend of my ate a 5 pound burger. The guy is amazing and no dead. (Just kidding about the dead part, but he did go on a diet after cause he was worried about his health.) Another friend ate the 1 pounder in 2 min and 17 sec. It was the restaurant's record.
What's the biggest thing you've eaten or seen eaten? - jitterbits, on 05/21/2009, -0/+4This is masturbation material for competitive eaters and bulimics.
- diemunkiesdie, on 05/21/2009, -0/+4New York Pizzeria has a 28" pizza. We always get it for superbowl because they usually have a deal for $20. It barely fits in the car, and it's amazing!
- 8FoldPath, on 05/22/2009, -0/+3A heart attack?
- danthek54, on 05/21/2009, -0/+3once you've STARTED not when u finish
- psykiv, on 05/21/2009, -1/+4I can eat a one pound burger like nothing. I actually make them all the time with 96% lean beef.
Protein... yum... - dankenstein, on 05/21/2009, -0/+3I like the Beau Jo's pizza challenge:
http://www.chicagopizzaclub.com/2008/06/beau-jos-p ...
"THE CHALLENGE is their Grand Sicilian weighing in at 12-14lbs with hamburger, sausage, green pepper, onion, mushroom, and pepperoni. Two people try to finish in one hour. Winners take home $100, t-shirts and the pizza is free. Even those who epically fail (i.e. two teenage girls with daddy's credit card) will have a Polaroid picture placed on the wall to commemorate the attempt."
A different pizza challenge hosted by the same place:

- nik15, on 05/21/2009, -0/+3My arteries just clogged from imagining eating them
- ViscidGobs, on 05/22/2009, -1/+4They forgot one item to put next to all these restaurants. A cemetery.
In Soviet Russia, food eats you! - Hellahulla, on 05/21/2009, -0/+3There was a time when I could have managed ... perhaps all of those. But now I'm skinny and somewhat healthy.
- Trevino, on 05/21/2009, -0/+2Yay Gluttony
- secrity, on 05/21/2009, -0/+2I wondered that too, and I wouldn't have a problem eating that stack. I wonder if it means that they bring multiple plates of pancakes as you eat each stack. Pancakes cool off quickly and they suck when they are cold, so it would be nice to get the pancakes in maybe four batches.
- krellor, on 05/21/2009, -1/+3Back when I still played football, and later when I still did competitive mma I could routinely eat 4-5 pound casseroles/lasagna/pasta dishes for dinner. I guess that luxury comes with working out 6-8 hours a day. That and knee surgery. :)
- thiagobg, on 05/21/2009, -0/+2Do you want a heart attack with that sir?
- HurricaneDC, on 05/21/2009, -0/+2we don't all suck with women. I mean I'm no casanova but I know how they operate.
- Chickenlip, on 05/21/2009, -2/+4WTF ... sit in your chair for an hour after eating that steak? What if I have to take a leak?
- weister42, on 05/21/2009, -0/+2I can eat two foot-long Subway cheese steak sandwiches and a dozen Topper's hot wings in less than two hours, is that anything?
- pcpimpster, on 05/21/2009, -0/+2That makes me want to vomit & ***** in parallel.
- Hellahulla, on 05/21/2009, -0/+2That's what your mum said.
- Nintendesert, on 05/22/2009, -0/+2You need a bigger car!!
- Trigonometron, on 05/21/2009, -0/+2There will be a Reckoning...
- pils01, on 05/22/2009, -0/+1Maybe this explains this :
http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/42134.php - Vanderkeif, on 05/23/2009, -0/+1A fat ass?
- Vanderkeif, on 05/23/2009, -0/+1I accidentally the whole ice creamz.
- ducttape36, on 05/22/2009, -0/+1no ben & jerry's vemonster?
- zagatbuzz, on 05/27/2009, -0/+1Wow, well that's a heart attack waiting to happen...
- SpectralSounds, on 05/21/2009, -2/+3No "Ole 96er"? The Big Texan on this list comes close I guess.... and they ripped off the name for the burger apparently. John Candy was the *****.
- Arlene124, on 10/19/2009, -0/+1Wow they are extreme who can eat 5 pounds of pancakes or 42 scoops of ice cream. the 42 inch pizza was doable with 4 real hungry people
- fanclerks, on 05/22/2009, -0/+1The doughnut, yes, the pizza I think would be pushing it. It's fully loaded with toppings and the size combine makes that one a toughie. I've done full XL pizzas in one sitting before and felt like I was gonna burst at the end.
- GreatDrok, on 05/22/2009, -2/+3Do you have special doors on your house or do they have to lift you out of the window?
- CB810, on 05/22/2009, -0/+1Somewhat similar to my post.... hope it doesn't exclude mine from going popular...
http://digg.com/comedy/9_Restaurants_That_Will_Kil ... - Orchid64, on 05/22/2009, -0/+1This stuff doesn't only happen in America. Do a search on YouTube for "Gal Sone" and you're bound to find video of her consuming giant-size concoctions in Japan. There's a video of her eating an ice cream and fruit parfait almost as tall as her and about 5 lbs. of deep-fried pork cutlet.
There's a curry joint (CoCoichiban) that also used to serve an enormous platter of curry which they'd let patrons have for free if they could consume all of it. They'd put pictures of everyone who managed to eat it all on the wall. One of them was a Japanese woman who was so thin that you could see her bones through her skin. She looked like a concentration camp survivor. Not one person who ate it all was fat. -
