Europeans Try to Get Food On to World Heritage List

triphow.com — Boneheaded attempt by French president Nicalas Sarkozy to get French cuisine listed as a ‘Unesco world cultural treasure’. That attempt got shot down faster than you could say cheese. But it seems that since France announced its bid, several other EU countries have teamed up to get their cuisine on the list.
