YOU CANNOT OUTSPICE ME DOMINOS, I AM UNOUTSPICEABLE! - deadmantalkin, on 07/21/2008, -1/+49dugg for strawberries and cream milkshake dessert pizza
- mudpuddle, on 07/22/2008, -0/+31No offense, but this reads like a youtube comment.
- inactive, on 07/22/2008, -3/+33Domino's doesn't have to be gross. I managed one for 6 years... If the manager/owner follows all of the guidelines and sells enough to keep the product fresh it isn't too bad at all. I always made my own food with the freshest ingredients in the walk-in cooler. If your Domino's sucks I'm willing to bet it's a lazy owner/regional manager or horrid in store workers. All about the FIFO.

- Elliuotatar, on 07/22/2008, -7/+19*****. The problem with Domino's pizza isn't how fresh the ingredients are. The problem is the ingredients are being used period.
And judging by the Domino's tractor trailer that pulls up to the local Domino's each morning, I'd wager a guess you all have to buy the same stuff from the same distributor.
That means you all have the same sauce and pepperoni and hamburger which I can tell just by tasting them that they're overprocessed garbage just like the crap you get at almost any other fast food place.
Taste a dominoes pizza and then taste a bertucci's pizza. Or a pizza made by a high class italian establishment in a 700+ degree brick overn. The difference is astounding.
And if you really can't taste the difference then you've just been eating crap too long.
Just look at the ingredients:
http://www.dominos.com/home/menu/ingredients.jsp
The tomato sauce contains citric acid. Harmless, and probably used as a preservative, but unneccessary, and this explains why it's always seemed overly acidic when I've eaten it.
The chicken contains soy. Talk about false advertising. When I ask for chicken on my pizza I don't expect to get chicken with soy mixed in to make it cheaper to produce.
The beef contains sodium phosphate. There's no excuse for that outside of beef jerky and cured pork products. But there it is again in the cheese as well.
Overprocessed crap. The lot of it... unless you order a hand tossed pizza without cheese, and only veggie toppings, and you're still gonna get that overly acidic tomato sauce. - yahoofrom, on 07/22/2008, -0/+7The onion made my cry.
- dvsbastard, on 07/22/2008, -0/+6I'd also like to thank the good people at Mozilla, Microsoft and my ISP for bringing me a great internet connection. Oh, and special thanks goes to my employer, for letting me browse digg while I work... and............
What the ***** is this? The Academy Awards?!?! - shreal, on 07/22/2008, -2/+8The last line, "cheese and sauce consuming beasts" sounded right as i bit into a microwave burrito. I looked down at my food product and shuddered, it was extremely eerie.
- olafcore, on 07/22/2008, -1/+6dugg -- it is cardboard.
- manitoba98xp, on 07/22/2008, -0/+5Well, since the actual domain is "theonion.com"…

- leprachaun97, on 07/22/2008, -2/+5pizza hut and dominoes are pretty much the same thing...*****
- SquishyMon, on 07/22/2008, -1/+4I work at Domino's and I'm getting a kick out of these replies; also, I loved the steak fanatic pizza.
- Rally603, on 07/22/2008, -0/+3How about, 'I'm sorry'?
- JoeRW, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2The spice is better than most other fast food, especially the pathetic mcdonalds, kfc and burger king versions of 'red hot'.
But yeah I think they need to keep up with our increasingly hard to impress with copious flavour toungues by introducing habanero peppers as an option. - trentasaurus, on 07/22/2008, -2/+4Domino's pizza isn't as good as other pizza? GTFO!
It's perfectly good for cheap pizza you can get delivered pretty fast. I've eaten plenty of it, I'm a driver there.
The article was funny though. - JordanE, on 07/22/2008, -1/+3Someone was bound to say it :(
- Elliuotatar, on 07/22/2008, -1/+3I'm sure they put shrimp on pizza here too. You just have to go to a real restaraunt to get it, not crappy Domino's. A local place serves pizza with bacon and scallops for example.
But I just checked and yep, Bertucci's in fact has two shrimp pizzas:
Shrimp Bella Venezia -
Tender shrimp with garlic, crushed red pepper, fresh herbs, diced plum tomatoes, mozzarella and lemon pepper cream sauce.
Shrimp Bella Napoli -
Spicy marinated shrimp with our zesty red sauce, mozzarella and herbs. - carrtoonist, on 07/22/2008, -1/+3I have had some decent pizza from Domino's. Its Pizza 73 that always sucks.
- donbigmano, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1As long as it has a ***** load of cheese on it, I'll eat it. Pizza with a lot of cheese is good.
- TaneshaR, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1What the hell is this? Are they serious?
- gradivus, on 07/22/2008, -2/+3No, dominoes is slightly better, its almost edible. Trust me, I worked at pizza hut and cant even look at their "food" anymore.
- micahned, on 07/22/2008, -3/+4HAHA yes that was the one that made me laugh the most too
- RobotBuddha, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1The only good pizza ever made in michigan was located in swartz creek, and went out of buisness in the early 90s. Rest in peace, whatever was there before doors galore.
- inactive, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Dude... Stfu. I'm not comparing to an Italian wood fired pizza. There would be no market for it if it was exactly the same as Domino's, that said you will also pay quite a premium for said pizza. The ingredients are the same you'll find at any chain restaurant. Better ingredients better pizza? That's some *****. They are EXACTLY the same.
- dougrochford, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1200 days in a row without meat For The Win :)
- smalleststep, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1"We plan to just top the pizzas with actual garbage..."
- Krissam, on 07/22/2008, -1/+2buried for makign fun of the death of a dane :/
unless ofcourse it was weight wise which would make it 10 danes :) - Sponky, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Well there's an opportunity to make a killing with a wood fired pizzeria staring you in the vacant thought then.
- yellowswan, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Sounds like everyone I know.
- antriver, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1good song there, but I still dugg you down
- ModernGeek, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Nom Nom Nom.
- animathias, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1I work for Domino's and I found this quite amusing. Even I wonder just who they're targeting with the constant stream of new pizzas they introduce. The Oreo Pizza was extremely crappy, and the Crispy Melt wasn't any better. I say just stick to the basics: Pizzas, Subs, Wings, Breadsticks, and Pop/Soda. When I want a pizza, I want dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings.. nothing weird.
Too bad I can't download this, it would be on my psp to show to my co-workers. - grovest4life, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Its closer in looks to a Beretta 92 but is some sort of knockoff
- grovest4life, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Upon a closer look it is a Taurus PT92.
