- STARTSOMETHING, on 06/28/2009, -2/+154I'll just have a cup of coffee.
Beer, it is.
No, I said "coffee".
"Beer"?
[slowly] Coff-ee.
Be-er?

- MarshalBanana, on 06/28/2009, -1/+63When my sister went to France she ordered an Americano at 7am at a cafe and I guess they don't make those there so they brought her some crazy cocktail that they call an americano and gave her strange looks.
- solid12345, on 06/28/2009, -2/+57I'm sure they spit in it too

- kelalo, on 06/28/2009, -0/+50Word. If I had a buck for every time somebody asked for an "no-foam cappuccino" or something else equally silly I would have a lot more dollars than I do currently.

Ingredients
2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
6 ounces black brewed coffee (very strong)
Directions
1 Pour the milk into the bottom of an 8 ounce glass.
2 Carefully pour in the coffee, trying not to disturb the layer of milk.
3 Stir the milk up from bottom and sip the coffee (there will probably be some milk left in the bottom of the glass when you are finished).
4 Variation: This coffee may also be served iced; add some ice cubes on top of the layer of condensed milk and proceed as above. - vonsama, on 06/28/2009, -2/+40its got electrolytes
- decapitor, on 06/28/2009, -1/+39it was probably a donut blended with scotch and espresso.
- noncn4mst, on 06/28/2009, -2/+40It's never too much chocolate.

- dafragsta, on 06/28/2009, -2/+38Tea is my staple. Coffee is my once in a while treat. I love coffee but it kills my stomach if I drink it every day. Tea never seems to do that. Coffee undeniably has a more robust flavor than tea in my opinion.
- samurimaster, on 06/28/2009, -2/+37Earl Gray hot
/Picard - CoreyTamas, on 06/28/2009, -5/+40There are those people who compose coffee drink orders that are 25 words long and include at least eight Italian words. I can't say that's my kind of thing, but hey... if it gets you the coffee you want, have fun.
Then there are those who will only order a coffee by using the word "Coffee" and "Large" or "Small" and utterly refuse to do anything else because, for some reason, they feel as though this is an act of defiance and a display of non-compliance against what they seem to perceive as Orwellian double-speak.
As a guy with a relatively modest style of ordering coffee, the first demographic makes me roll my eyes... but the second makes me want to say "It's just a coffee order. Not a threat to your way of life. Put down your banjo, Swingblade, and try a mocha. You might like it." - jmp478, on 06/28/2009, -0/+32Unless you work in a coffee shop.
- mjk340, on 06/28/2009, -0/+29That sounds ***** delicious, can't wait for breakfast tomorrow.

Friggin hipsters. - Grolsch, on 06/28/2009, -2/+26Americano is kinda funny.. just like American beer. 30% beer + 70% water = American lager
- Vanda, on 06/28/2009, -0/+23In Australia, it's called a long black, though I can imagine asking for a long black in America would result in more than just a strange look.
- KingGorilla, on 06/28/2009, -1/+23Anything with condensed milk is ***** delicious. It's the jizz of the gods
- camkind, on 06/28/2009, -1/+23I like my women like I like my coffee - covered in bees!
