- foucaultsvac, on 05/04/2009, -0/+36Can they help with noticing simple spelling errors or typos?
- 4eloBek, on 05/04/2009, -1/+33only adderall....
- Atario, on 05/04/2009, -1/+25"Can a drink really help you concetrate?"
Only one way to find out -- get me a margarita, stat. - BoneStamp, on 05/04/2009, -1/+22A glass of red wine works well for me when I'm programming late at night. But more than that and ***** starts to go downhill.
- kplo, on 05/04/2009, -1/+21Sorry, were you saying something? I got distracted...
- pegothejerk, on 05/04/2009, -0/+19I dunno about a designer chemical laden drink, but a vodka tonic sure helps a female focus on what I'm saying.
- sexybobo, on 05/04/2009, -0/+19Try not drinking anything for a couple of days see how well you can concentrate.
- ssquared22, on 05/04/2009, -1/+19I used to drink many more energy drinks, however, now that I am trying to get more water into me in a day, I feel better already.
- inactive, on 05/04/2009, -2/+17I love seeing "Pre-Med" students using adderall without a prescription
And they wanna be doctors.
/facepalm - inactive, on 05/04/2009, -0/+15Well, that would help you become concentrate.
- Dested, on 05/04/2009, -0/+14I drank water with about 200 micrograms of acid in it one day and concentrated on this wall for about 12 hours.
- OutpostNetwork, on 05/04/2009, -0/+13*concentrate
- hiimkardinal, on 05/04/2009, -0/+13Yeah but what a world it would be if it was.
- Oea420, on 05/04/2009, -1/+13hah, the best part is addreall is just mixed amphetamine salts
aka speed - vinceislegend, on 05/04/2009, -0/+10So these drinks will help you focus, but not keep you up?
And the old drinks will keep you up, but not help you focus?
Does drinking them both at once cause you to kill your family? 'Cause if not, I think I have a plan. - inactive, on 05/04/2009, -0/+9That can also be said of stuff most people eat every day.
- supermanly, on 05/05/2009, -0/+8http://xkcd.com/323/
- enginbeeringSB, on 05/05/2009, -0/+8I actually know several Med students who frequently use adderall without a prescription.....
I hear it helps out a lot on those 4AM shifts. - superdigg, on 05/04/2009, -0/+8Just take a nap!
- xShad0w, on 05/04/2009, -0/+8I feel like light alcohol/weed has the same affect on me because it dumbs me down enough that I can only have 1 stream of thought at a time which helps me focus on one thing, whereas normally I have many streams of thought at the same time floating around in my head and it's hard for me to get much done.
Really helpful for programming/any work since I only need one focused stream to throw out code or get something done, but otherwise brainstorming/imagining is easier. - NJRFilms, on 05/04/2009, -0/+6I'm surprised it's taken this long for drink manufactures to include nootropics.
As far as L-Theranine goes, get it in powder form... 20 grams for ten bucks here: http://www.1fast400.com/?products_id=1328
Also look into Aniracetam which you need to stack with something like Lecithin Granules
But do your research and learn how to take it all first:

- tmyprod, on 05/04/2009, -0/+6That's exactly why I drink them! To prepare my body for the strange and bizarre chemicals we're bound to face after the apocalypse (nuclear, zombie, ufo, mayan, donkey - you can't be too prepared)
- scuba7183, on 05/04/2009, -0/+6The most important thing I've learned in college ( I am(was?) a freshman) is that naps are awesome
- chriswastaken, on 10/27/2009, -0/+6If we didn't eat anything we wouldn't have any chemicals my body wasn't born with. I'd also be dead.
- bagelmaster, on 05/04/2009, -1/+7I think he meant replacing other liquids with water meaning he is taking in more pure water per day. Reading comprehension...
- strictnein, on 05/04/2009, -0/+5VAXcat: time to stop chugging the red bull. All he said was that he's drinking fewer energy drinks and more water.
- electricwaffles, on 05/04/2009, -0/+5Not a drink.
- RyeBrye, on 05/04/2009, -0/+5If a drink can help you concentrate, what can a concentrated drink help you do?
- RadiatedAnt, on 05/04/2009, -0/+5no but nootropics will
- Iwantawii, on 05/04/2009, -0/+4Dugg for nap.
- supermanly, on 05/05/2009, -0/+4Just fap and nap.
- DirtPile, on 05/04/2009, -0/+4Yes. When it is made of a pint of bourbon.
- scuba7183, on 05/04/2009, -0/+4divide by zero
- BoneStamp, on 05/05/2009, -0/+4Ya, so true.
- inactive, on 05/04/2009, -1/+4Drinking a lot beer and then swimming is a bad idea. Just throwing that out there. ;-)
- nepidae, on 05/04/2009, -0/+3Gin with a splash of vermouth, shaken then garnished with 2 olives.

exec(load"*",8,1); // whate the hell am i douing? - ArntorFTL, on 05/04/2009, -0/+3Black tea, green tea, and maté seem to do the trick for me.
- troymccluresf, on 05/05/2009, -0/+3Dugg for gin.
- maz2331, on 05/05/2009, -0/+3Cocaine is a helluva drug.
- kiduk, on 05/04/2009, -0/+3My friend swears by Kava. He said that it makes you happy but also focused.
- Piha, on 05/05/2009, -0/+2dugg for load"*",8,1
- ciram, on 05/05/2009, -0/+2Okay so what's new? Energy drinks = bad, tea = great.
- inactive, on 05/05/2009, -0/+2OH SHI--
- mhgrover, on 05/05/2009, -0/+2So L-theanine helps by increasing Alpha wave activity. Ok. How about other ways if increasing alpha wave activity? Meditation, Marijuana, etc. They increase alpha wave activity too.
- RadiatedAnt, on 05/05/2009, -0/+2dirty with a twist
- inactive, on 05/05/2009, -0/+2BRAWNDO will make you prepared for all those chemicals that your body wouldn't encounter in its existence...
