California Cabernet Sauvignon

californiawineries.info — California is the world's second largest grower of Cabernet Sauvignon. In California most Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are grown in the Napa Valley and Sonoma County. Cabernet Sauvignon is of the species Vitis vinifera, and genetic studies in 1997 indicated it is the result of a cross between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc.

    I am a fan of California wines but Cabernet Sauvignon is not my choice. But California has a reputation as a place where anyone can prosper and anything can grow. My choice Chateau Montelena.
