- heintje1, on 04/10/2008, -5/+4the point is that the message is being put out there. of course an add like this isn't going to prevent a drunk from possibly driving. but it does send out a message to the sober people and encourage them not to drive drunk. so, yes. adds like these are generally effective. is it going to prevent drunk drivers completely? no. but one less drunk driver out there is better than nothing.
