- Burento, on 11/24/2008, -1/+19pfft.. And all i ever end up doing is just making stupid turkey sandwiches for a week and a half. I may have to give one or two of these a try. Thanks
- Jabrams2, on 11/24/2008, -1/+10hmmm...the chili looks pretty damn good
- eco57, on 11/24/2008, -1/+7Turkey works great in just about any chicken enchilada recipe.
- inactive, on 11/24/2008, -1/+6hmmmm I could use some turkey as of now
- ritubpant, on 11/24/2008, -1/+6there ya go. Now you can extend thanksgiving meal a week long
- doublefelix, on 11/24/2008, -0/+5If someone tried to serve me turkey waffles on thanksgiving morning I would seriously insta-barf.
- Dailydose4me, on 11/24/2008, -1/+6wheres the turkey?
- eco57, on 11/24/2008, -0/+4Here are a couple:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-kjM1asH-8 - inactive, on 11/24/2008, -1/+5You can make your stuffing in a separate dish. A possibility for a homey and easy dessert is warm pumpkin bread or pumpkin muffins with a scoop of vanilla icecream.
- DigSomeMore, on 11/24/2008, -0/+4there was the turkey enchilada...
- geoff1210, on 11/24/2008, -1/+4Bread, Mayo, Turkey, Cranberry Sauce.
combine into sandwich, and eat it. good enough for me - d2002, on 11/24/2008, -1/+4You know how to prevent leftovers? Invite college kids to your thanksgiving dinner. Trust me, they leave NO FOOD BEHIND.
- eineameise, on 01/25/2010, -1/+3i dunno, but i don't really see the digg crowd putting so much effort into making food
- zip000, on 11/24/2008, -0/+2Yes, I've been doing enchiladas with all the dark meat - my wife and I don't really like dark meat - for the past 2-3 years.
Another really good option is to make turkey noodle soup. Just throw the carcass in a stock pot with some veggies - carrots, onion, celery, a few other things - and cook for a few hours...then toss out the solids, filter, and you've got a great base for turkey soup. - astrotrain, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1Now what you need is... The Bobbi.... (WaWa screwed this sandwich up...when they tried to make their "Gobbler")
See in Delaware we do it right...:
Hoggie Roll
Mayo on both sides.
heap of left over stuffing (cold)
heap of turkey (cold)
cranberry sauce (cold) - beerwench, on 11/24/2008, -1/+2i cooked the food once... and now they want me to cook the food again to make something else? ***** elitist bastards... its going to be turkey and cold gravy until christmas for me
- Nooze2k, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1Turkey leftovers always become one meal for me: Hot turkey sandwiches. Piece of bread + layer of turkey pieces + gravy + piece of bread + more gravy = DELICIOUS!
- LondonBridge, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1I hope you do "Burento". Cooking can be such fun. There's virtually no limit to what anyone can do with leftovers. Granted turkey is in a class of it's own. They're always huge. Hope you have fun experimenting.
- inactive, on 11/24/2008, -1/+2Great recipes for people who mess up things ,just like me!
http://www.yummyuck.com - bphicke, on 11/24/2008, -1/+2Nothing beats a GIANT turkey, muenster cheese, mashed potato, gravy, cranberry sauce, green been casserole sandwich.
- SoccerBoy, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1My favorite is Shepherd's pie...

I don't follow the recipe exactly, but then again I rarely do. - ATL, on 06/20/2009, -0/+1turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, on a buttery roll
pure heaven, I could eat that for days (and I intend to) - hoonooka, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1Thanks giving is my favorite holiday. Because you can eat as much as you want with out seeming like a pig. (i'm not fat).
- CTRaiderThe1st, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1First is the sandwich late in the day. Nothing against nooze2k in the above post but that is b-a-i-s-i-c.
For the Awesome Sandwich:
Bread+little bit of mustard+little bit of mayo+turkey meat+mashed potatoes+gravy+stuffing+cranberry sauce+candied yams (mashed BEFORE you put it on)+bread on top. This is a GREAT sandwich, and yes can be done, and is VERY messy.
If there are leftover mashed potatoes make potato pancakes (just a little milk, egg, and flour (enough so the "dough" is stiff) and cooked in bacon grease). - BinaryDelt, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1Anything + gravy.
- zip000, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1And turkey on the pancakes...which I'm sorry sounds kinda gross.
- ATL, on 06/20/2009, -0/+1I'm glad you clarified that, I'm sure you saved faced for millions of diggers (whoa that sounds way too close to something else) who were about to lose respect for you, thinking you are a fatty.

http://www.celebxray.com - janetkw, on 11/24/2008, -0/+0I love Thanksgiving, and Christmas, and New Years. I get to cook anything I want and it all gets eaten. You can check it out at http:wwwquickandeasycooking.com. BTW, that is an unusual Shepard's pie and I might just try it.
- sleestakslayer, on 11/24/2008, -0/+0I can appreciate creative food as much as anyone, but turkey sammiches with a little mayo are about as perfect as you can get.
NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM - rheaume, on 11/24/2008, -2/+1Well as my thanksgiving was a month ago, this comes a little late
- rockstar1o9, on 11/24/2008, -2/+1This is about a week too early.
- crushfan, on 11/24/2008, -6/+1Carnivores, celebrating their silly tradition.. Böried.
