- inactive, on 05/08/2008, -1/+48Miller Lite only has 3 carbs per bottle. Plus, it's self-regulating because it tastes like donkey piss.
- RandomEyes, on 05/08/2008, -2/+45The 5 snack ideas they give you actually sound pretty good
- Jsmuli2, on 05/08/2008, -0/+39Missing from the list:
Almonds
String Cheese
Vagina - sofaKing812, on 05/08/2008, -1/+31I just hit the bottle I have stashed in the back of my desk for an afternoon pick-me-up at work.
- rockandrollmark, on 05/08/2008, -0/+29yeah. spicy nuts
- Hobobaggins, on 05/08/2008, -2/+30They left Stella Artois off the list.
- ileftfark, on 05/08/2008, -0/+22How many carbs are in a single line of cocaine?
- simthedude, on 05/08/2008, -0/+20Some afternoon delight always works for me.
- willscottsi, on 05/08/2008, -0/+15I wish I'd read this before my nap!
- sjbdallas, on 05/08/2008, -0/+13Agreed. Usually these kind of lists have crap like: 3 ounces of plain yogurt or 1/2 can plain tuna, unsalted boiled peanuts.
- Jwoey, on 05/08/2008, -0/+13I went with down.
- hokeywebb22, on 05/08/2008, -0/+9Pabst won a blue ribbon for his beer. So you know it's good.
- frotastic, on 05/08/2008, -2/+11couldnt it have been "6 snacks that...." instead of having the 6th one as a bonus, it just seems sort of silly to me
- ilves7, on 05/08/2008, -0/+9Unrelated bitter comment of the day
- BetterOffEd, on 05/08/2008, -0/+9"5" sounds OFFICIAL. "5" sounds IMPORTANT. 'Twas a marketing decision.
- Xanrez, on 05/08/2008, -0/+8Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
- Jsmuli2, on 05/08/2008, -0/+7sky rockets in flight
- BetterOffEd, on 05/08/2008, -0/+6(But not necessarily in that order.)
. - TheMidnight, on 05/08/2008, -0/+6Chocolate salty balls?
- Xproject01, on 05/08/2008, -0/+6Thanks, Norm
- darny, on 05/08/2008, -3/+9Dugg instantly for spicy nuts.
- briankoenig03, on 05/08/2008, -3/+8Could also be titled "5 snacks that will make nearby coworkers hate smelling you."
Spicy nuts, deviled eggs, homemade salsa with corn....stuff that doesn't smell too great before it's eaten, and smells even worse afterwards. - Zippo, on 05/08/2008, -0/+5I'll stick with a Swanson's HungryMan. Sure, it'll probably kill me when I'm 60, but at least I'll be full.
- saucysabrina17, on 05/08/2008, -0/+5Mmm...I can just imagine how delicious apples and lime taste!
- BadseedJR, on 05/08/2008, -0/+5You're just mad about your last name.
- shasbarg, on 05/08/2008, -0/+5Schwetty Balls?
- Negligence, on 05/08/2008, -1/+6A little healthier list for snacks. I'm sure others will be able to chip in with good ideas:
Baby carrots and hummus (this is my favourite)
Sliced Cheese
Grapes (can be eaten slowly over a long period of time)
Apples, Pears
Beans (green/yellow - raw)
A can of pineapples can be eaten slowly over a 2-3 hour period. Very good and no sugars added. I find this is good between breakfast and lunch.
Fruit smoothy/mix
Almonds, peanuts, cashews, etc. - Punisher2K, on 05/08/2008, -0/+5Vagina usually makes me sleepy
- MrFanrastic, on 05/08/2008, -0/+4The itis is strong with this one.
- synystar, on 05/08/2008, -2/+6Thanks. Now I'm hungry. Off to Taco Bell I go.
- dbalaski, on 05/08/2008, -0/+4They all sounded great -- including the apple&lime (though I usually like only Granny Smith Apples because they are so crunchy-crisp (I hate mushy apples). not sure how that is gonna work out with lime) ...
- enclaved, on 05/08/2008, -0/+4You're wrong.
- doctechnical, on 05/08/2008, -1/+5Dugg for the donkey piss comment. Truth.
- Crosshare, on 05/08/2008, -0/+4Blue Moon is one tasty beer. You go to hell for that comment.
- TheUngod, on 05/08/2008, -0/+4I've been drying my own fruit lately. Cheaper than buying dried fruit, and you can get all sorts of good stuff like mangos or these really cool fruits I found called Pluots (plum+apricot cross). Make for great snacks.
- BobMysterioso, on 05/08/2008, -0/+4sounds like a marital aid of some kind.
- Digitalicious, on 05/08/2008, -0/+4I've had the apples with lime... It's the best ever... In fact, you could just use the bottled lime or lemon juice (I prefer lemon). Can't even tell the difference.
- endlessoul, on 05/08/2008, -0/+3That's what she said.
- ichunxo, on 05/08/2008, -0/+3The salsa recipe it links looks pretty good.
- ubuwalker31, on 05/08/2008, -0/+3Seriously...people aren't eating enough fruits and veggies. Sliced veggie sticks and fresh whole fruit are great snacks. Fruit smoothies are bad though, IMHO, too many calories too fast. An occasional piece of chocolate as a snack is ok too...
- xaogypsie, on 05/08/2008, -0/+3They make you hyper and paranoid?
- Kenzan, on 05/08/2008, -0/+3Deviled eggs are like crack to me.
- ProfessorFoo, on 05/08/2008, -0/+3People who don't want to overeat :)
- Griminal, on 05/08/2008, -2/+51. Spicy Nuts.
2. Homemade Salsa and Tortilla Chips.
3. Deviled Eggs.
4. Half a Toasted Peanut Butter and Honey sandwich.
5. Homemade Popcorn. - secrity, on 05/08/2008, -0/+2The salsa recipe didn't have any corn in it, besides I didn't know that corn had a smell.
- Ikulus, on 05/08/2008, -1/+3Hunger between breakfast and lunch... maybe you didn't eat enough breakfast.
- metaliq, on 05/08/2008, -0/+2Enough to keep you going.
And, on top of that, it's a complex carbohydrate! - AndreRollins, on 05/09/2008, -0/+2Maybe just a little.
- humperdeath, on 05/08/2008, -0/+2Wow, just $1 to drink all day?!?!?!?! l
- DrMatt, on 05/08/2008, -1/+3IMHO... all boring. The concept of this article is healthy FUN snacks... zzzzzz
