- lamiaconfitor, on 11/07/2009, -0/+40Is it just me, or does the Chicken Maharaja Mac look a pretty damned good?
- davidwasman, on 11/07/2009, -1/+35No wonder we don't have them here - there's a distinct lack of bacon and mayonnaise.
- txcrew, on 11/07/2009, -0/+19Is it really necessary to have 3 exclamation marks after, "I'm the King of Good Taste!!!"
- kinseyincanada, on 11/07/2009, -1/+18how can someone think a California Roll is japanese?
- happytheclam, on 11/07/2009, -1/+16This reminds me of my wife family that visited from Japan. They had never had Fusion sushi (california rolls, caterpillar rolls) like we have here in America, because they don't typically serve that in Japan. Even though we all think it's Japanese food, it's not.
- Dinner, on 11/07/2009, -1/+13I'M THE KING OF GOOD TASTE!!!
- kittycama, on 11/07/2009, -0/+11Sorry sir, anything with less than 45 grams of fat just doesn't make the menu here in America.
- Apex3, on 11/07/2009, -1/+11I had "baked potato pizza" at pizza hut in Japan, it was literally pizza with waffle fries and bacon on it, lmfao. It wasn't bad at all though.
- Buzaow, on 11/07/2009, -0/+8Also in France Mc Donald's serves beer.
- LibertyPrime, on 11/07/2009, -0/+8They have a chicken big mac in india? lucky bastards.
- rancor01, on 11/07/2009, -0/+8You haven't lived until you eat a Japanese tuna - corn - mayo pizza with soggy undercooked crust.
..just kidding. Its disgusting. - bradleyjx, on 11/07/2009, -1/+8No Teriyaki Burger @ McDonalds = fail in my book.
- htiawe, on 11/07/2009, -0/+6In some languages it is common to either use on exclamaiton or three, three to mark added excitement.
- chriscalifornia, on 11/07/2009, -2/+7Why do they get Corn Flake Chicken while we have to sit around like saps choking down this "Kuntucky Fried" nonesense.
- tomjthayer, on 11/07/2009, -1/+6"I wanna be a stubborn McDonalds owner. Cheese burgers? NOPE! We got spaghetti!! and blankets. We are not affiliated with that clown, he attracts too many children."
- capttoenail, on 11/07/2009, -0/+5I don't get it. I'm Indian and I know a lot of Indians eat beef. It's sad because I can get beef curry easily but I can't get a beef burger. McDonalds here sucks.
- Binto, on 11/07/2009, -0/+5You know they call corn-on-the-cob "corn-on-the-cob" right? But that's how it comes out of the ground, man. They should call that "corn." They should call every other version "corn-off-the-cob." It's not like if you cut off my arm you would call my arm "Mitch." But then reattach it and call it "Mitch-all-together!"
- rancor01, on 11/07/2009, -0/+5The Subway hotdog is awful. I had one a few weeks ago. One thing that McDonalds here in Japan had last year was the Mega Mac. It put the big mac to shame. The thing was seriously like 8 inches tall.. Ridiculously large. I never tried that one because thats just asking for a heart attack. Friends reported chest pains after finishing.
pic here:

Oh, and there's also the Windows 7 Whopper. SEVEN freaking patties on the thing, and it costs about $15.00USD.
http://www.burgerkingjapan.co.jp/news/win7.php - idavidtang, on 11/07/2009, -0/+46. Taro Pie at Mcdonalds in China.
- Atmandk, on 11/07/2009, -4/+8Ok Digg, we get it. Fast food companies are multi-national corporations who alter their product to suit multi-national cultures. After the hundredth front page story about ***** fishdick mcnuggets in ***** I think I've got the point.
- BugMeNot2, on 11/07/2009, -0/+4It's 'cause it's the KING OF GOOD TASTE!!!
- monkiboi, on 11/07/2009, -0/+4McDonalds Hawaii gets some interesting stuff. Saimen, Taro and Haupia pies. We even get spam, rice and eggs for breakfast.
http://www.mrcheapstuff.com/deals/2007/08/unique-m ... - lamiaconfitor, on 11/07/2009, -0/+4Personally, I prefer the "Despot of decent flavor," but to each his own.
- mambose, on 11/07/2009, -1/+5Where is the Hungry Jacks (Burger King) "Aussie Burger" with beetroot?
- Nevasleep88, on 11/07/2009, -0/+4Pizza Hut might not be fast, but its still 'fast food'.
Also +1 for your second point!. McDonalds here in the UK is fantastic at it. - yacks, on 11/07/2009, -0/+3you can get Fried chicken and spaghetti at Jollibee's if you can find one...but then it depends on where you live.
- DeadSkinMask, on 11/07/2009, -0/+3They have one in Canada. It's basicly a Quarter Pounder with Teriyaki Sauce. They also have a Chicken teriyaki burger. (McChicken w/ sauce)
EDIT: Found a pic... http://www.fiveloaves.ca/2009/07/15/teriyaki-mcchi ... - CaviMike, on 11/07/2009, -0/+3Dinner is my favorite meal of the day.
- Anub1s, on 11/07/2009, -2/+5I also see the "McVeggie" on the India menu, sounds.....terrible.
Looks like all they do there is take stuff that isn't cow and deep fry it, put it between a bun, and add a *****-ton of mayo. - transapien, on 11/07/2009, -0/+3That's retarded but funny, dugg. I do want to hear about fishdick mcnuggets.
- capttoenail, on 11/07/2009, -1/+4I even know Brahmins who eat beef :/
- capttoenail, on 11/07/2009, -2/+5I can vouch for that. It. Blows.
- pizzaface200, on 11/07/2009, -1/+4Don't care about mayonnaise but lack of bacon is a sin.
- taibo, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2No, Pineapple Pie is where its at. Me and my buddies used to go to McDonalds in Shanghai everytime we went out, just to get some of those damn pies.
- absurdist, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2Try the Bulgogi Burger in Korea. Bulgogi is essentially Korean teriyaki, so it's much the same flavor, just a little spicier.
- Hellicus, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1Yes.
- DDRSkata, on 11/08/2009, -0/+1Touche.
- veritasXE, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1It's like Jews that eat pork. Most Hindu's in the West eat beef because...well it taste's amazing. In India there would be riots and firebombings if McDonalds began industrial scale slaughter of cows.
Also, the meat dishes in Indian cuisine are a byproduct of the Muslims there... - magneteye, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1Pizza Hut, Owned by PepsiCo, who also owns Taco Bell and KFC amongst other things. I think they do fall into a fast food category.
- michelsonmorley, on 11/08/2009, -0/+1Salad on a pizza. I love that stuff.
- ArmandoM, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1I'm betting that most of them would...they've just been told that they can't have it.
- Dinner, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1Yeah, lunch and breakfast have their own cutesy things, but dinner is clearly the meal where it is at.
Truth be told, though, I normally go by 'breakfast,' but the other meals were already taken. - drcrank, on 11/09/2009, -0/+1"It's no secret the Chinese love pork (and, really, who doesn't?)"
I know they're being rhetorical, but probably the answer is: the Jews do not love pork. Really. - uptwolait, on 11/08/2009, -0/+1Well, there's egg and bacon; egg sausage and bacon; egg and spam; egg bacon and spam; egg bacon sausage and spam; spam bacon sausage and spam; spam egg spam spam bacon and spam; spam sausage spam spam bacon spam tomato and spam;
Spam spam spam spam... - chiefbandit2200, on 11/08/2009, -0/+1#3
- Nightrain117, on 11/08/2009, -0/+1The McSpaghetti and Chicken is actually damn good.
- giyad, on 11/08/2009, -0/+1What about the Zinger Supreme from KFC... mmmmmmmmmmmm, turkey, spicy chicken, lettuce, and mayo... what else could you want!
- ArmandoM, on 11/09/2009, -1/+1Nobody forces you to eat there.
Cook your own - rosiews, on 11/09/2009, -0/+0At McDonald's in the Canadian Maritimes (East Coast) you can get McLobster Rolls too!
- diggdong, on 11/07/2009, -1/+1wow, one of the blogs are stealing the others list. There was a front page story that had these but wasn't from la weekly. oh well, *****
