- Tyrghast, on 07/05/2008, -3/+34Guess what works 100% of the time for 100% of people? Excercise.
- P8triot1, on 07/05/2008, -0/+14Even tho it's wise to relax and have serenity, life is good, trust the Love in the universe, it's also good to look at the scale each day to be encouraged to see the weight go off.
- jgambleii, on 07/05/2008, -0/+12Eat less, move more. That's all you need to remember.
- fuze44, on 07/05/2008, -1/+12What's with all of these weight-loss articles lately? This place is turning into Women's Health Online.
- t.toe, on 07/05/2008, -0/+8Don't forget walking for 30-45 minutes a day, five days a week! It's not that hard to do, and not only is it a good way to shed a few pounds, but it's also very good for your heart!
- chrillen, on 07/05/2008, -1/+8I wish that everyone would understand that.
- JRjJ106, on 07/05/2008, -0/+7I ate 64 hotdogs yesterday in the Hot Dog Eating Contest. I think I need more extreme weightloss methods than the one mentioned in this article. Any ides?
- e2superman, on 07/05/2008, -0/+6Go to Gym. Eat less. Excersize more. Solved.
- Asay, on 07/05/2008, -0/+5Belly fat is actually the last to come off; fat usually comes off the extremities first.
- DontGiveADamn, on 07/05/2008, -0/+4Walking does help. If you look at studies where they compare different cities you will see that places like New York City has thinner residents (because they walk more) and places like Atlanta has fatter residents because they are car commuters.
- ddollar7, on 07/05/2008, -0/+3walking wont do anything unless your really out of shape it doesnt get your heartrate up you need to do intense cardio
- e2superman, on 07/05/2008, -0/+3Because Digg members sit on their ass all day getting fat. They would rather hear about how to lose the weight (and site lame cliches) then to get out and actually do something about it.
- wildsnake, on 07/05/2008, -0/+3Get a personalized trainer like the one in the movie 300. Problem solved
- cresswga, on 07/05/2008, -1/+3I walk 4 miles every week day during my lunch break. It has does nothing for weight loss but it does get me away from my desk.
If you do no other exercise it is better than nothing but it is certainly not going to to do much to help you lose weight. - CarStan, on 07/05/2008, -0/+2How about drinking so much in the evening that puke out everything you ate too much that day? Usually works for me.
- thecwin, on 07/05/2008, -0/+2If you stop walking, you put on a lot of weight. Walking a little bit (perhaps 40 minutes - 1hr a week) will have an almost immediate weight-loss effect. I know this from experience, due to leg problems. However, walking a lot doesn't seem to have much greater a weight-loss effect than just walking a little bit.
- goodinohio, on 07/05/2008, -0/+2Gee I guess we can do away with psychiatry.

http://removethatfat.com - tomd123, on 07/05/2008, -1/+2Funny, since belly fat is probably the first thing people want to come off. Ahh those fat people in gyms doing crunches.. classic.
- paulmer2003, on 07/05/2008, -1/+2Yeah, with the Divine Caroline too :(
- suminona, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1You make a valid point. Can you show me an article describing the increased RMR due to post-workout repairs? (Not trying to argue the point, just curious)
- suminona, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1The "more muscle => higher BMR" idea, while true, is not really as big of a difference as most people think. Here's a post from Fitness Black Book about the issue.
http://fitnessblackbook.com/muscle_tone_strategies ... - favour2008, on 07/31/2008, -0/+1very very informative
- onux16, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1Some people's body structure just isn't made for heavy weight. Myself, I am 205lbs average with good eating habits and with lots of room to build muscle; my room mate is 120lbs and couldn't gain muscle or fat no matter how hard he tries. I'll never be his weight and he'll never be mine. It's just not meant to be for some folks.
- beauley, on 07/07/2008, -0/+1When we think of oil, the first thing that comes to mind is the oil in our automobile, which keeps the moving metal parts well lubricated and running smooth. We are well aware that if we neglect the oil level and the oil runs out, the motor will stop running.

- beauley, on 07/21/2008, -0/+1Some of us try to hide it, but honestly we must admit that we are becoming a world which has not even begun to halt our global obesity problem.Very noticeable, in the past few years, is the fact that even children not yet approaching their teens, the average weight of individuals has been on the upswing.

- chud31, on 01/04/2009, -0/+0Well this is a great topic and motivator! I am trying to lose weight and have made it my new years resolution. I am eating better. Drinking more water. I lack on exercising. http://acaiberry2.com/ My biggest enemy is the sweets. I have to learn to replace them with fruits and vegtables.
- NuclearIsShit, on 07/06/2008, -0/+0I just got my spiky hair all frosted at the tips, got a rad tan, now I am wearing a visor and driving around very loudly in a ***** North American V8 gas guzzler and I feel great. I just BLASTED my abs and pecs today at the gym bra, and dude my tribal tattoos are so wicked!
Being obsessed about weight is so awesome! I mean who has time to think about Iraq when I am hitting the beach and buying brand name sunglasses! - inactive, on 07/05/2008, -0/+0I need 20 ways to gain weight I am 110lbs trying to gain wait I ate 3 big macs everyday for a week and lost 1lbs
- SamanthaPickles, on 12/10/2008, -0/+0This is the same thing you read in ever little article all over the internet. It seems like everyone is searching for some big secret that they will not ever find because there is no easy way to lose a bunch of weight. You just have to be determined and dedicated to your exercise program and your diet. Adding a good supplement can also help but it shouldn't be depended on. Take a product that has clinical proof backing it up. Stuff like Green Tea Extract actually has research done by teams of clinical professionals with there findings. Just do a search for Green Tea Clinical Studies... After I gained some weight with my pregnancy I worked all of it off with in two months just by doing a simple eliptical workout in the morning and walking my dog in the evening but I did it EVERY day. You gotta put the time in if you want the results. I also took Green Tea Evolution and it helped give me a little energy but not so much that I was overwhelmed with the effects. http://greenteaevolution.com I ate 3 healthy meals a day and I didn't cheat. Its my determination that got me results and that is what it takes... bottom line.
- Chainblade, on 07/05/2008, -0/+0it can be tough. but it's really not THAT hard. like some of you have said...eat less and move more. that's pretty much right on. I have lost 55+ pounds and 10 inches in my waist since late February by:
-only eating 1500 carlories a day (works for me, just find a low calorie number that you can do without starving yourself)
-eating something every 2 hours (not 3 huge meals)
-going to the gym! (i personally only take off one day a week) - CARDIO is key to losing weight
-try to eat healthier foods, you will be surprised once you start eating healthy, the crappy foods sound nasty. find replacements for the things that are bad (like having water instead of soda)
-and splurge sometimes because if you don't and you have a craving for something, you will blow up later and eat way too much - fredmv, on 07/05/2008, -1/+1>> put the ***** mouse down
***** that. Don't tell me what to do. - paulmer2003, on 07/05/2008, -1/+1Soda and junk food are meh. Waste of money, unhealthy, and they don't even taste good!

- jennifer8055, on 07/07/2008, -0/+0Hi,
I used to be pretty obese andstarted putting on a lot of weight especially on my thighs and bottom in my late thirties. I really wanted to do something about it and I started exercising as often as possible and also cut down on a lot of high calorie stuff. Unfortunately I hardly managed to lose any weight at all. I then recently read an article by a lady who claimed that she managed to lose nearly half of her weight using a particular weight loss product. I tried it out and it actually worked really well. Within 4 months I managed to shave off 65 pounds completely. The results were pretty amazing and I feel so much healthier and energetic now without having to carry all that extra weight around. You can read more about the lady's article at the link below
http://obesenomore.wordpress.com/ - NuclearIsShit, on 07/06/2008, -0/+0Eat before bed, do less cardio, give your muscles a break between workouts. 2 days on and 1 day off. If you work out too hard, or if you smoke your just going to shred all your muscles away.
- atomiclegion, on 07/06/2008, -0/+0I may be a skinny f@#k but here's a few things to live by:
1. Drink water
2. Exercise, if you do it - exercise under an hour.
3. Don't drink soda or try have it only a few times a week.
4. Try small amounts of food when eating.
5. Finally always eat breakfast, that said have a large breakfast, smaller meal for lunch and a even smaller meal for dinner.
follow these 5 rules to go by and you're on to a better looking self!!! - ChillyWilly373, on 09/19/2008, -0/+0I hear that sleeping in the cold is a good way to lose weight while you sleep due to the fact your body is shaking to stay warm thus burning calories
