- frforums, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1Restaurants have the right to put whatever (legal) ingredients they want in their offerings. Diners have the right to know what those ingredients are, so they can make informed choices.
If you choose to consume 2400 calories (including trans fat) at lunch, there is no law (yet) that says you can't. If you choose to order something with less calories and no harmful ingredients, again, no law that says you can't.
But shouldn't you have the right to make that choice? If so, how can you without knowing the nutritional information for the choices offered?
