- skewl, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3 Sea vegetables such as chlorella and spirulina have become very popular nutritional supplements. Aside from eating these different sea vegetables fresh such as in sushi, they can be taken in powder form in a drink as a daily supplement.
- Tomboys, on 07/21/2008, -0/+6I love beets with feta cheese! I know, who cares?

- meghani, on 07/21/2008, -0/+2What are your favorite foods that are clearly good for you but that also taste good?
Blueberries? - Bakdan87, on 07/21/2008, -1/+4There are a lot of foods that have changed my life. Most of them are pizza. The rest are tacos and chinese food. Someone should search for spotty and specious scientific support for how that's good for me.
I apologize for the alliteration. Much like ***** after prunes, once you start doing it, it's hard to stop. - overt, on 07/22/2008, -0/+6I guess it's a good thing I have a 60-acre beet farm then. I run it with my cousin Mose. We sell beets to the local stores and restaurants. It’s a nice little farm...sometimes teenagers use it for sex.
- morninglorii, on 07/22/2008, -0/+3Yes I have acted before. I was in a production of "Oklahoma!" in the 7th grade. I played the part of Mutey the Mailman. They had too many kids so they made up roles like that. I was good.
- TheMachine1, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1No garlic! Buried!
- smashingmonkey, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2Years ago I worked in a juice bar and this totally ripped guy would walk in every day and order a 24 ounce beet juice. Yep - 24 ounces of pure beet juice. Then he'd walk out the door and fly toward the sun until I could see him no more.
Well, the bit about the beet juice is for real... - Commodore84, on 07/22/2008, -0/+3What? No quinoa?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinoa
12-18% protein content--among the highest of all grains. It also contains all of the amino acids and has been researched by NASA as a potential food to be grown on long space missions.
And it tastes really good, too. - phibit, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Surprise! Most of these foods taste bad. There's a reason not many people eat swiss chard and pumpkin seed salad on a regular basis. These foods are for cows.
- fudged71, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1I have to admit that Pomegranate juice is quite spectacular.
there are two VERY distinct kinds, though. There are ones that use the seeds, and ones that don't, and you can DEFINITELY tell the difference. I absolutely LOVE the one with the flavor of the seeds, but many people don't like it - Trigonometron, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1This was on the front page a few weeks ago. Since then I have eaten nothing but beats, blueberries, and pumpkin seeds. Now my underwear looks like peanut butter and jelly. Thanks a lot, Digg
