- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -13/+152Probably total BS. The Russian media likes to just make up wonder-kid stuff like this for some reason.

- SpaceDreamer, on 10/11/2007, -3/+42I knew Chernobyl would have some positive effects some day.
- schoate09, on 10/11/2007, -2/+41In soviet russia, women pick up the men.
- Lifesgarden, on 10/11/2007, -1/+39Is it just me or is her father extremely disturbing?
- kizzbizz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+37Could be BS, but there might be some truth to this, possibly- I'm no anatomy specialist, but I do remember reading/watching a program which was trying to make the argument that strength was much less based on the abilities of the muscle and more based on their positions/how they're attached to the bones/tendons. They were trying to say that the innate strength of muscles is huge, but most people cannot take full advantage of their strength because they're improperly positioned. You can have incredibly strong people with little muscle mass because they're getting better efficiency out of their bodies design. Was pretty interesting, so who knows. I have seen that girl rock climber with almost 0 muscle mass do two finger pullups all day long.
- Battleloser, on 10/11/2007, -1/+33Lifting the same people in every pic, it's got to be some half assed magic show.
- alexg05, on 10/11/2007, -1/+31Wow, radiation does some crazy *****.
- wildfire, on 10/11/2007, -0/+29She so strong -- she crush server!
- catalysis, on 10/11/2007, -3/+29In Soviet Russia, girl hits you!
Sorry, I had to. - stoikiometry, on 10/11/2007, -0/+24No one beats Pippi Longstocking.

- BayAreaKing, on 10/11/2007, -2/+17I bet she has an extremely deep voice.
- withoutashovel, on 10/11/2007, -2/+17wow then you have pretty low standards.
- seanc6610, on 10/11/2007, -0/+15Poor execution, my friend.
- a0me, on 10/11/2007, -0/+14Viral marketing for Heroes Season 2?
Hey why not? - sockdemon, on 10/11/2007, -0/+14Those are some hardcore nipple clamps.
- evilpettingzoo, on 10/11/2007, -1/+15She should hook up with little Hercules and have some super babies. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNJCRwRmK08
- Mejogid, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16Exactly. I'm no expert, but assuming those weights are made of any sort of practical alloy I'd expect bone that size couldn't actually take the stress. There seems to be a sudden and dramatic difference in weights from, for example, the 5th from bottom or either of the two above that to many other photos where she looks barely older.
- skyfire1, on 10/11/2007, -2/+13So is 95% of the digg population.

- TalkingBanana, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Dude? In that pic she's 6
- ronaldpoi, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9I don't think so... she is already stronger than most of us and still have a normal female body... it's weird, thought
- KMye, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Why do you hate yourself?
- ki1022, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11I hate you
- terracottapai, on 10/11/2007, -3/+12I agree.
We need hotter 13 year olds - unknownsoldierX, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Old wive's tale or not, kids that young shouldn't lift weights at all. At that age, their muscles are stronger than their bones.
- ametory, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9In Soviet Russia women have big brass balls?
- goodkidyo, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9Take a look at olympic power lifters. They are often not much to look at. While their body building buddies are absolutely huge and often cannot put up the same weight.
This has a lot to do with muscle fiber types. And quite possibly (if this isn't bogus) Myostatin blockers. - 1807, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6I belive it was Austin Powers who said "thats not your wife, that's a MAN baby!"
- LordSkywalker, on 10/11/2007, -4/+10Eww...
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6"documentary about her on one of the Russian channels"
isn't that exactly why I said it was BS? This stuff can never be confirmed in controlled, scientific conditions. - zointax, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Disturbing? Very. http://englishrussia.com/images/worlds_strongest_girl/19.jpg
- danielman94, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Not really eww. I thought she was going to be some kind of Starla(from Napoleon Dynamite) girl, but she isn't.
- Wildren, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6lmao
- InspectorGadget, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5That's more or less accurate, but the muscle mass that people do develop from strength training tends to pack on around the attachment points to bones and tendons. Look at a lot of the powerlifters that train in the Westside Barbell style - most of them don't look like bodybuilders, but a good number have squatted weights that would crush most people.

- harvinator24, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7Barry Bonds has some competition.

Show me something on the Guinness site or book and I'll think there could be something to this. - seanc6610, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Yeah, someone tried it up above, but it wasn't too great. I'm sure someone could really nail it.
- enginbeering, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5That's an old wive's tale.
- xxyglx, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4When you look at a chimpanzee, they don't look to be particularly muscular, but they can beat the socks of any well muscled man in anything that resembles a contest of strength. There's got to be something here, in how our muscles are used.
I still think this article is BS though. - jdee, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4wai!
- A-money, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4"...her voice become deep: BORAT BORAT, eh, she receive hair on chest, and vazhïn hang like sleeve of wizard."
- TheRemoteViewer, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5This is probably one of the Russian media's mandated 'Must report 50% good news' stories.
