- durruticolumn, on 09/18/2009, -0/+67"TIME asked White to respond to Fedor's accusations, and he pulled no punches. "Who the f___ is Fedor?""
Is he serious? What kind of mickey mouse ***** response is that? Fedor is ***** Fedor, that's who the ***** Fedor is. - chadsterrr, on 07/10/2009, -2/+47Dana White is a spoiled brat.
- ugabandit7, on 07/10/2009, -1/+42Chuck Norris is scared of Fedor.
- BottleRocketPR, on 07/10/2009, -0/+35Fedor is the best fighter in the history of MMA, period. He is an elite athlete comparable to Tiger Woods, Roger Federer and Lebron James...
If you dont know who he is check out this video:

- mnemy, on 07/10/2009, -1/+28Dana White is a douche. I love MMA. It's my favorite sport, even though I practice Boxing. Eventually I would like to give MMA a shot. Tomorrow I'm driving from San Diego to LA to meet some friends to watch the big UFC fight. I'm a fan.
But Dana is a ***** prick and rules UFC with an iron fist. Their fighters are kept under a very tight leash. The top UFC fighters are paid ***** compared to the top Boxing fighters, even though UFC is raking in more PPV dough. UFC fighters cannot fight for any other organization, even if it's another sport. I trained with KJ Noons, who was the champ of the short lived and poorly managed EliteXC. The reason he hasn't joined UFC is because he wants to pursue a Boxing career at the same time, and UFC doesn't allow that.
Also there's the matter of signing away your virtual likeness. If you fight for the UFC, they can use your likeness in any way they want, and you don't get a dime.
So basically, Dana White requires you to be his bitch if you want to fight for the UFC. You're underpaid, and don't have any freedom. And you had better win. - batshitcrazy, on 07/10/2009, -0/+25"Fedor doesn't make or break my business one way or the other, you know what I mean?" says White. "The reality is, I don't need Fedor."
“Who the f___ is Fedor? Are you serious? The guys who fight for me have a chance to make a lot more money fighting with me than with anybody else.”
Sounds like White needs to realize people don't give a ***** about him or his business, but about seeing who the best fighter is. What a douche. - grimacebrown, on 07/10/2009, -0/+24You know what... I don't have too many problems with Dana, because he has done wonders for MMA, but this article made a really good point. Dana is being such a bitch basically trying to goad Fedor into signing with the UFC under its own terms by saying "he isn't worth it". The fact of the matter is that every MMA fan I know wants to see Fedor in the UFC. Just look at Anderson Silva. The guy wrecks everybody that steps in to the ring with him. If the fight goes to decision, the only reason it does is because EVERYBODY is afraid of him. And EVERYBODY wants to see him fight. The man is exciting, and wins fights. Fedor would be just as much if not more of an asset because of similar abilities.
Mark my words... if Fedor ever signs with the UFC it will begin the second blow-up era of the sport. - Zaetha, on 07/10/2009, -0/+22White: "Who the f___ is Fedor?"
In the same article, a few lines back: "Fedor has already beaten five former UFC champions, two of them twice. He has finished four of them off in the first round."
This is not about who Fedor is, Mr. White. It's who you are to him that matters.
And right now you are his bitch.
Period. - Burento, on 07/10/2009, -2/+23He can say anything he wants.. Even avid UFC fans know Fedor is the best pound for pound in the world and the best heavyweight in the sport.
- NoHo, on 07/10/2009, -1/+18Dana won't sign Fedor to a one-fight deal because he knows Fedor would walk away unscathed while leaving his WWE wrestling 3-1 HW champ an unconscious and bloody mess on the octagon floor.
If the guy I was trying to push as the best was some gargantuan 3-1 WWE wrestler with size and strength but limited skills, I wouldn't want Fedor to pwn him then leave, either.
Could you imagine Fedor with an opponent pressed up against the cage unleashing his godly ground and pound? Good god. - bail3yz, on 07/10/2009, -0/+13WAR FEDOR!
- YouRookies, on 07/10/2009, -0/+12Dana White is a business man and promotor. He's always going to talk ***** until Fedor is in the UFC. Behind all that talk, he knows that Fedor is the biggest MMA star that he doesn't have.
- Burento, on 07/10/2009, -1/+13Thats silly... He fought Arloski and Silva.. OH.. BOTH UFC champions by the way and knocked them both out recently.
- Vandango, on 07/10/2009, -0/+12Dana White is the Don King of MMA. You can't live with him, can't live w/o him. Too bad he's one of those guys, no matter how much you hate him, he'll never get his. F'n love Darth Fedor. He doesn't talk or put on a show, just comes in and kicks your ass, thanks you, and leaves.
- cocobengo, on 07/10/2009, -0/+12Go Fjodor!:D
- YouRookies, on 07/10/2009, -0/+12Like ESPN, they jumped on the bandwagon now that MMA has potential to make them money.
- jba68, on 07/10/2009, -2/+13and he harnesses this fear, eats it and poops out patriotism
- bicyclethief, on 07/10/2009, -0/+10Mainstream baby!
- inactive, on 07/10/2009, -0/+10Of course White wants to own Fedor. Imagine what would happen to White's business if Fedor kicked best UFC fighters' ass and left.
- dialectical, on 07/10/2009, -2/+11Mark my words in Fedor's up coming battle with Josh Barnett he is going to have some very interesting diffiiculties. Barnett is stronger and has unbelievable flexibility for a very tall man, making his Jiu-Jitsu very tough to deal with. Fedor will still win this fight but it will be a very tough test for the pound for pound best fighter in the world. But to many people are underestimating Barnett. He could pull out a very big upset.
Regardless of the feud between the UFC and Fedor I really wish the fighters in the UFC would just have some balls and get out of their contracts and face Fedor. He is the champ, everyone knows it, so wouldn't you want get a chance to take down someone like Fedor. It would make for an interesting fight against Lesnar or Mir. Couture is most likely Fedor's next victim. I would even pay to see Fedor take on Lashley or Brett Rogers, especially Rogers since Fedor has proven that he can take a punch...would be great to watch :) - YouRookies, on 07/10/2009, -0/+9I never understood all this Fedor hate. Are the haters just suckers that fell for Dana White's BS? Are these guys new to MMA and don't understand what makes Fedor good? You know, before the TUF show introduced you to MMA, PRIDE was the NFL of MMA. The UFC Heavyweight division had *****. It was so bad Randy Couture moved up in weight class and took away the belt from Tim Sylvia. It was so bad, the only guy in the UFC Heavyweight Division that would give Fedor a decent fight was Tim Sylvia and we saw how that went....Respect the man. He is the Tiger Woods of MMA.
- FullMetalNIN, on 07/10/2009, -0/+9I was kidding. However, Dana White has made complaints like this in the past!
- LimboTheLaw, on 07/10/2009, -0/+8"combination of boxing, wrestling and Taekwondo" - this quote from the article is all I needed to read to know that the writer is an idiot.
- nathanbutnet, on 07/10/2009, -0/+8What gives you that impression? Just because he sounded like a whiny little bitch in the article or because they called him out as an aerobics instructor?

- JCEEZ, on 07/10/2009, -0/+7It's sad that he is more concerned with the money then the sport =(
- hybridcreation, on 07/10/2009, -0/+7That has got to be the most tired, ***** excuse there is. They are punching and kicking the ***** out of each other, choking people to sleep and trying to break their arms and legs. That's what we see. Keep your homoerotic fantasies to yourself.
- inactive, on 07/10/2009, -0/+7Fedor vs. Cro Cop was the biggest fight in MMA history. Two of the most feared men in the world at their absolute primes putting on an amazing show. That fight came so close to ending so many times, when Cro Cop slipped and his kick went OVER Fedor's head I almost ***** myself.
The thing about pride that so many people miss is that they realized how much good production could add to a show, and they didn't favor boring wrestlers who just lay and prayed on people. If you tried it, you got a yellow card and lost a ton of money, then stood up. We wouldn't see 15 minutes of Cain Velasquez dry humping congo inpride. - hybridcreation, on 07/10/2009, -1/+8Either way, it's exposure for the sport I love. I'll take it.
- YouRookies, on 07/10/2009, -1/+7@ AtomicTheory,
You may be an avid MMA fan but you haven't been watching MMA for long. Back during the PRIDE days, Cro Cop, Big Nog were in their PRIME when Fedor beat them. Then he beats Tim Sylvia and Andre Arloski the only two legit heavyweights the UFC had back in the day and you can't give him any credit? You would rather put your money on Brock Lesnar who has only beaten a LIGHT Heavyweight Randy and Heath Herring? - chadsterrr, on 07/10/2009, -1/+7Um, because he USUALLY sounds like a whiny bitch. And he pretty much tries to tough talk his way through life. I just don't like the guy. I'm sure I can't cite specific examples, but the guy comes off as a huge d-bag.
- bicyclethief, on 07/10/2009, -2/+8the rest of us sees the most exciting sport in the world
you see what you want to see - knodi, on 07/10/2009, -0/+6Who is Fedor? Fedor is the best ***** mma fighter in the world.
- pitdog, on 07/10/2009, -0/+6Fedor is like a pure bred game Pit Bull Terrier. All about the fight, doesn't care about the looks (like some other nancy fighters) and other silly things. Great fighter.
- Burento, on 07/10/2009, -1/+7I can understand your point and agree to some extent. However, saying someone who has never lost is not the best is hard pressed. He has been fighting in Pride and other solid organizations as a champion and never lost once. So give the guy his due...
- Burento, on 07/10/2009, -0/+5That video is pimp... Had to sub it :)
- phyx726, on 07/10/2009, -0/+5The only thing matches White's doucheyness is his ego.
- Burento, on 07/10/2009, -0/+5I have spent some time talking to some UFC fighters before and they all say that the UFC has the crappiest deals and pay the least money. Sure, when you are working full time and fighting part time the deals seem good, but a lot of business minded fighters have left UFC once they had the chance.
- Nayson, on 07/10/2009, -1/+6And kicking the ***** out of them.
- Remulos, on 07/10/2009, -3/+8To the author of this article, you are a douche. It's called mixed martial arts, not "ultimate fighting". Someone who refers to mma as such has no business writing articles about it.
As for the content of the article, it is a bit one sided. I'm not a huge fan of Dana White, but Fedor's side has made some equally silly demands for signing with the UFC. For one, he wants to own his own footage. Along with that he wants to pretty much slap an M-1 logo all over the UFC lol. He wants UFC to sign fighters from the Red Devil team as well. And the one that takes the cake is he wants the UFC to build a stadium in Russia for him to main event fights in. So yes, Fedor's management has been just as silly in these negotiations with the UFC as Dana White has, if not more. - kamakazitp, on 07/10/2009, -0/+5because then Fedor could just walk away after destroying the old champion, leaving what exactly for them to promote for their next big heavyweight bought? Oh, thats right, nothing.
It won't happen unless Dana white wakes up one morning and is magically not a douchebag. - bicyclethief, on 07/10/2009, -0/+4I think the fight will be a surprise-- but at how badly Fedor will destroy Barnett.
Barnett is a great well-balanced fighter, probably the 2nd best heavy in the world. But I don't see him overcoming Fedor's speed and power. - stinklez, on 07/10/2009, -0/+4i hope Fedor gets in more fights before he leaves his prime. =(
- damack, on 07/10/2009, -3/+7Dana White is the reason UFC will be dead in a few years.
People talking about how the UFC has grown but what people don't realise is the UFC hasn't grown at all the UFC was at its height back in 2006 when Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell faced off for the second time.
Even though it was nearly 4 years ago that fight still holds the record for the most UFC PPV's ever sold and for the biggest rgate for the UFC.
The only reason the UFC looks like its growing is because its traditional opponents are not doing well in America. What a lot of people don't realise is while Americans have always dominated boxing these last 2 decades boxing has become a univeral sport.
Nowadays there are boxers from all over the planet participating in boxing and whereas in general the majority of titles were held by American fighters if you look at the WBA's 22 titles today only 1 is held by an American with every other title held by somebody from another country.
If you compare the PPV's worldwide to what the UFC is doing the UFC isn't even a drop in the bucket compared to boxings worldwide popularity.
When Pacquaio last fought he sold more PPV's in England than the UFC have sold in America and that was a fight that was broadcast at 5am here in the UK.
In Mayweathers last active year he sold 2.5 million PPV's when he fought Oscar De La Hoya and then another 2.35 million later in the same year totalling what the UFC's accumulative PPV numbers will be this year.
Don't read into the ***** the fact of the matter is as great as MMA is without a competent man in charge it won't go very far. It's supposely been growing but it can't even break it's own records.
Fact of the matter is with the financial muscle of Mark Cuban and the brains of Donald Trump over the long term I'm betting against an idiot like Dana White.
/rant - CrackyJSquirrel, on 07/10/2009, -1/+5@YouRookies
Dont forget the first time Lesner fought Mir and lost by getting leg locked like a ***** amateur. I mean he was standing over Mir, Mir on his back and Mir was able to do a break dance move and lock his leg? WTF and now Lesner is the "champ" ... This war between Dana and Fedor isnt what showed me White wasnt all about the fighting, it was how White orchestrated this circus of a title fight around Lesner, who has no right being where he is for the short period of time he has been in MMA.
. - OniKoroshi, on 07/10/2009, -0/+4I don't think they were ever in their "prime." The point is when they were champs, Dana was talking like they were the best in the world. The UFC heavyweight division is paper thin. How else does Brock Lesnar get a title shot after two fights in the UFC, one of which he lost?
- NoHo, on 07/10/2009, -0/+3Sarcasm, I suppose seeing as how Josh Barnett is the same age if not younger than Brock and Mir.
- kingatrock, on 07/10/2009, -0/+2Never seen someone get owned so fast by 3 people at once. Thanks!
- YouRookies, on 07/10/2009, -0/+3PRIDE was the NFL of MMA. Who did the UFC have back then? NOBODY. He already beat the best in their PRIME. Why the hell does he need to fight Brock who is ALL HYPE. LOL, He goes 1-1 and he get's a title shot. What a joke.
