- mysn239, on 11/06/2008, -0/+42They're on their way to MORDOR
- pseudojd, on 11/07/2008, -1/+20Denali is actually the tallest mountain in the world from top to bottom. Everest is higher, but the bottom of everest starts above 10,000 feet. Denali starts at sea level. The more you know....
- seanc6610, on 11/07/2008, -0/+14I'd love a huge version for my wallpaper.
- aComa, on 11/07/2008, -0/+14One does not simply ski into mordor.
- Echomote, on 11/07/2008, -0/+13They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard.

- Vodd9, on 11/07/2008, -0/+5More like hell once you fall and don't stop until you've reached to botttom of the mountain.

- Novion76, on 11/07/2008, -2/+7Holy ***** I would piss my pants.
Awesome. - Jforsyth89, on 11/07/2008, -4/+8Paradise for an extreme skier, and hell for just about any rational person. I would probably curl up in the fetal position and cry if I was stuck on that mountain :/
- SuperStromboli, on 11/06/2008, -5/+9When I went to Colorado to ski I was amazed at how winded I got from just walking up a hill. Being up so high, I had to consciously make the decision not to do anything too vigorous or risk passing out. Then again, I am out of shape. It wasn't as beautiful as Alaska (I assume), but still a very awesome landscape.
- jkendal4, on 11/07/2008, -0/+4LIE. the tallest mountain in the world from top to bottom is mauna kea in Hawaii.
- DinosWillDie13, on 11/07/2008, -0/+3Yeah, hiking is terrible in that thin atmosphere.
- Thousand, on 11/07/2008, -1/+4Well if you want to get technical like that, Mauna Loa in Hawaii is probably even taller, as its summit sits about 30,000 ft above the ocean floor.
- haydukeqc, on 11/07/2008, -0/+2Gnarly title brah

- MisterPockets, on 11/07/2008, -0/+2If anyone other than Maki or Mr.Babyman submitted this it would get like 8 diggs.

- specialbuddy1, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1I think I saw this same picture in a Patagonia catalog. My mistake, the picture in the Patagonia catalog had a guy riding a unicycle in a canoe on top of a mountain.
- PleasantKiller, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1how do u get that high?
- risc427, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1So awesome... I'd love to have the opportunity to ride something like that. Some day...

- anarchyinthekr, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1hike to the lake chutes @ breck when you're hung over, absolutely brutal for a short hike
- Mutiny32, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1Yeah, when I went boarding in Colorado I could definitely notice the change in altitude. We stayed in boulder and walked everywhere as well. We both are in very good shape and do a ton of cardio and weights, but just walking around got us winded. Boarding takes your mind off of it though. That and busting your ass every 5 seconds when you're just a beginner. My ass has never been more sore than after boarding.
- chugatussin, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1until an... AVALANCHE COMESSSSSSSSSSS

- blake_mooney, on 11/07/2008, -1/+2LMFAO!
- burhaan, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1But one can surf into Mordor... if your surfboard can withstand Lava
- mattofasia, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1Right, you pussies. Get your scuba gear and weights out. Hike to the top of Mauna Loa, ski to the bottom
(with the help of fake snow.) Then toss on your weights and your scuba gear in as little time as possible. Then keep frackin' going.
Then explode messily into red misty crap somewhere a few hundred feet down.
Thats what a REAL man would do. If you cant do that ya better HARDEN THE FRACK UP PEOPLE! - friday91350, on 11/07/2008, -0/+0Wow.
- GrandAmChandler, on 11/07/2008, -0/+0DRAGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
