- BaoUnit, on 12/05/2008, -0/+5Dear god! Some of those jumps took some serious balls. On the other note, sick editing mate! Some of those shots made me nauseated!
- braddial, on 12/05/2008, -0/+3Was it in Interlaken where you saw them? I was there last summer and was lucky enough to get to go. Now I wish I could get certified to do it on my own but i live in nice, flat Florida.
- Cyberdactyl, on 12/05/2008, -0/+3It's amazing. With the right updrafts and wind conditions, those flying squirrel suits surpass a 2 to 1 glide ratio.
- inactive, on 12/05/2008, -0/+2I saw people doing this in Switzerland... now I wish I had done it.
- ryleyleckie, on 12/05/2008, -0/+2ya... FRIST!!!
- GeeksSpeakFont, on 12/05/2008, -0/+2wow these are really spectacular jumps! great video!
- BUrAph, on 12/05/2008, -0/+2I took my first flight over the summer in Switzerland. It always looked so peaceful and tame watching others glide down...but you can really do some crazy stunts if you want to....
My instructor pulled some pretty sweet maneuvers on the way down....I don't think I've ever had such a big adrenaline rush in my life! I'd recommend anyone to try paragliding out if you ever get the chance! - LibertyKnight, on 12/08/2008, -0/+1haha, great
- dajuggernaut, on 12/05/2008, -0/+1just not relevant comments thats all
- theprogrammer, on 12/05/2008, -0/+1Yes and no. It's certainly possible to stall it - there's at least one full stall (intentional) in the video. Stalls are generally recoverable - the glider has a strong tendency to try to start flying again. One exception is when it gets tangled in its own lines, such that it cannot reopen. Another is when the pilot falls into the glider.
- inactive, on 12/05/2008, -0/+1Yeah, I saw some there, and in Lauterbrunnen Valley. I live in CT, so same problem.
- SharpEye, on 12/05/2008, -0/+0Is it possible to stall one of those at altitude with no way to recover?
- Sraser, on 12/05/2008, -1/+1That was some awesome jumps and some horrible music.
- burjzyntski, on 12/05/2008, -0/+0gave me goosebumps at a few points.
i want to fly but i'm afraid of heights. - fuzzlog2, on 12/06/2008, -0/+0I definitely want to try paragliding. I've got a pilot's license but this looks the most natural way to fly, you, your fabric wing and fresh air all around.
- Jduboys, on 12/05/2008, -2/+0I can appreciate the talent and balls it takes to do some of these jumps. But as far as video entertainment, I could hardly make it past the first two minutes
- Wakuko, on 12/05/2008, -7/+1100 diggs and no comments? FRIST!!!
